enjoyed our stay in plaza catalunya. hotel staff very helpful especially at reception. we received a warm welcome and were given lots of information on the sights to visit and the best routes to take to see everything eg metro bus etc. hotel was so central for travelling around the city and felt safe walking around the area at night. had a triple room […] which was nice if the beds were a bit more comfortable. wold return to this hotel. i would have given a 5 (= very satisfied) rank to this hotel, if not to the condition of water (shower) in the bath room. It had very low power and when i gave the feedback to the front desk man, he simplied shrugged off my input and said; "oh maybe there were a lot of people taking a shower at the same time". Well, we took a shower on different timing […] throughout the 4 days stay and it never work any better. I was amazed that the front desk man did not have any effort to send maintenance to check out the shower even though we gave the feedback on day 1. This hotel is perfectly located on the Plaza Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona, and is an older building that has been updated with all the modern conveniences while retaining something of its older charm. The breakfast, which was 8 euros extra, was excellent, one the best I've ever had in Europe. The breads, rolls and cakes were fresh every day and […] there was a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables as well a various meats and cheeses. Wi Fi was included in the price and I never had a problem with it. It worked all the time with no interruptions. The only slight negative was that my room was a tad small, but very comfortable nonetheless and very quiet. I recommend the hotel highly and will return when I next go to Barcelona. Lees meer

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean, lovely breakfast in a decorative and ornate room. We booked a room with 3 beds for 3 adults. One bed was a camp bed which was very disappointing and unfair. We had all paid the same for accommodation and should have similiar quality beds.I certainly could not have slept on a camp bed as I have an old […] back injury. We asked for an extra mattress and were given a blanket.While everything else was great I would not recommend this hotel for adults requiring 3adult beds. Camp bed may be fine for a child. Lees meer

The location was great, but the room was VERY small, even by European standards. My wife and I were constantly bumping into each other. Also, the coffee was terrible which is remarkable because everywhere else we went it was terrific!. The hot breakfast was mostly pastries and cold cuts, but not as advertised. Perfect location, but be aware rooms are tiny with very little space. No window with outside view and it faced a common air shaft. I did miss the feeling of natural light. However, this was offset by the location of hotel which was perfect. We walked everywhere. No need for taxis. The bus from the airport stopped right at Catalunya Plaza. There is […] a complimentary wine,coffee, pastry and small bites at the lounge next to the restaurant every evening. We were the only guests aware of this and literally enjoyed the wine and food all to our selves. This is not for the luxury minded but the hotel met our expectations for location and safety. Staff really accommodating and very helpful. We arrived early just off a cruise, our room wasn't ready but they stored our luggage while we explored. Best location just off the really busy La Rambla right on Catalunya Plaza, my 86 year old mother could easily walk to everything we needed. Plenty of cafes, banks, cabs, buses, metro right outside the […] door. The hop-on hop-off city tours are in front of the hotel. The room was a triple and had a little privacy wall for the third bed (convertible sofabed) The beds were a little hard and the pillow skimpy. There was air-conditioning, a flat screen tv, minibar and safe in the room. Bathroom was adequate, shower over tub, bidet and toilet, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, shampoo and soap provided. Typical older European type hotel with small elevator, not a luxury hotel but comfortable enough for a short stay, we spent little time in the room. Free internet, coffee and pastries on the floor one up from reception. I believe they have a restaurant but we didn't use it. The address/directions to the hotel from the website were a little sketchy, the cab driver couldn't find it without calling dispatch, so we drove around a little needlessly, but it's right on the Plaza so we're not sure whether it was the cabbie or the directions. Stayed for a couple of nights in this hotel. Room was very small (ie you couldn't open the minibar door as it hit the bed) but fine for this length of time. We stayed in a triple but my teenage daughter had to put up with an uncomfortable temporary bed. Main complaint would be that there was lots of noise at night from doors banging and the lift doors. If […] you have a different room and its just two of you this is a fine hotel and the location is excellent. The location is great (right at the Plaza Catalunya, where you can walk to many places, catching different lines of metro, and airport bus) and the price is good (you can find a single room for under 80 Euros). They even offer free internet access (two computer terminals) in the 1st floor lounge. There are also free snack, bottle water,tea/coffee, and […] even sparkling wine available in the lounge area. This is a well located hotel. You can easily walk to many site seeing locations. The Aerobus drops off at the Plaza from the hotel. The site seeing busses start in the plaza, too. Breakfast was varied and the best I found in Europe. The room I had was the smallest I've ever had. I couldn't even put my suitcase on the floor and still be able to move […] around. I was on the top floor which the elevator does not reach. You have to trek up an extra flight of stairs to the 4th floor. The stairs surround an open caged elevator which allows for views to other floors. If you're afraid of heights this may not be the hotel for you. Also, some of the hotel staff struggle with English. This hotel was the only one of my stays in Europe that didn't sell stamps. They may want to consider changing this policy as it's difficult to find a post office in town. Lees meer

spent the night before going to airport. very convenient to take the bus straight to the airport leaves every 12 minutes very cheap. hotel was very helpful with printing boarding passes, directions etc. only thing the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Overall good value for the money and location. would stay there again.

sicherlich in der Nähe aller wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Lage vom Hotel war super, direkt am Placa de Catalunya. Hotelausstattung war gut ABER das Einzelzimmer dass ich hatte war super klein. Badezimmer mit knapp 1.50 meter x 1.00 meter war winzig.. Eigentliches Zimmer 2.00 meter x 3.00 meter. Dazu muss ich fairer weis sagen, es war total sauber und […] ziemlich modern. Speziell das Badezimmer. Amenities, also Shampoo, Körperlotion etc., war alles vorhanden. Im Zimmer befand sich ein Wasserkocher und dazu hatte es Kaffee Sachets. Lees meer

Très bon hôtel, situé sur la place Catalunya. Fenêtre fermée, on entend aucun bruit venant de l'extérieur. Je retournerai sans hésiter.

광장중심부에 있어 주변에 쇼핑몰와 음식점등이 있어 편리한곳에 위치하고 있어 여성분들에게 딱 맞는 장소일 것 같습니다. 남성분들에겐 단점이 될 수 도 있겟지만 객실이나 욕실들이 자그마합니다만 아담한게 깔끔하게 꾸며져있어 아기자기한걸 좋아하시는 여성분들은 만족하실겁니다. 간혹 택시기사들이 호텔이 멀리있다며 더 데리고가실려하는데 멀지 않으니 차라리 길거리 행인분들에게 길을 물으시는게 좋으실것 같습니다.

Har för första gången bott på hotell Catalunya Plaza i Barcelona och kan inte annat än att rekommendera det till andra. Det ligger helt perfekt centralt och är bara ett stenkast från Las Ramblas, de gotiska kvarteren, den stora shoppinggatan med alla lyxmärken och nära till både bussar och tunnelbana. Hotellet i sig är fräscht och hade när jag var […] där, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummen var bra och välstädade och sängarna var sköna att sova i. Det fanns en bra och prisvärd frukostbuffé som vi fick ta del av och även gratis tillgång till datorer med internet. Åker jag till Barcelona igen, kommer jag med största sannolikhet bo på Catalunya Plaza ännu en gång. Lees meer

夜に到着便が多いスペインで空港バス降りてすぐにホテルがあるのはとても便利。 周りはショップ・バル　各観光地へのアクセスも抜群によいし、観光案内所もすぐ近くにあるので、バルセロナに始めて観光で行く人にはとても良いと思います。

Ikke et hotellrom vi bodde på men en bod. Hadde vi hatt 2 kofferter med oss ville den ene ståpå gangen da det ikke ville være plass. Der er større plass på de minste innvendige lugarene på de eldste cruisbåtene. Den romprisen de tok i påsken er dette en skam.

Perfekt läge, nära till allt. Enkelt att ta bussen från flygplatsen in till stan. Hotellet ligger på andra sidan torget där bussen stannar. Vid torget stannar för övrigt många busslinjer om man vill göra utflykter. Annars är det nära till det mesta så man kan gå om man känner för det. Hotellet har också en mycket bra frukostbuffé till bra pris, kan […] rekommenderas. Rummen var trevliga och det var inget problem med att vi var tre som bodde där. Enda negativa var badrummet som var litet och trångt. Skulle boka samma hotell om vi åker till Barcelona igen. Lees meer

Hotellet ligger mitt i stadens händelsecentrum, på samma torg som Flygplatsbussens slutstation. Den vackra fasaden, den enkla men trevliga receptionsdisken, oavbrutet bemannad, dekorationerna och den smarta belysningen gjorde att vi kände oss välkomna. I receptionen fick vi kartor och svar på frågor. Frukostsalen är vacker, med utsikt mot torget, bufén […] ar fräscht och välsmackande. Très bon hotel, mais méfier vous des chambre single, la mienne était vraiment très très petite et avait deux fenetre minuscules sur un petite cour intérieure couverte.

Hotel très bien situé, excellent petit déjeuner mais chambre extremement petite (8m² maxi) avec vue sur mur ! très déçue !

ホテルに着きチェックインを済ませて部屋に行くと、security boxの鍵がない。チェックイン時にいただいた紙には、security boxに入れなくて、物を盗られても責任は持たないと書いてあるのだが。フロントに出向いて訊くと、security boxを本当に使うのかと訊かれた後、フロントは奥にごそごそ入っていき大きな鍵を持ってきた。 インターネット可ということで部屋でネットにつなごうとしたら、一切の説明が部屋に備え付けの物には書いていない。フロントに電話するとWifiの暗号を教えるから降りてこいと言うので、そうすると暗号の書いた小さな紙切れを渡された。ネットは１Mｂｐｓ程度だったが、なぜか１０分も使わないうちに勝手に切れてしまい、持続的に使うには再接続を何度もしなければいけなかった。 次 […] に寝ることを考えベッドの数を見ると、３人で予約してあったのに、extra-bedがソファのまま。フロントに電話するとフロント係自ら上がってきて汗だくになりながらベッドをこしらえてくれた。 風呂はバスタブがあって湯の出もいいのだが、カーテンがなくガラスが右の１／４ほど水が散るのを塞ぐだけなので、シャワーを使うのに結構気を遣っても風呂マットがかなり濡れてしまい、思うようにはシャワーを浴びることができなかった。ティッシュペーパーは小さなボックスに数枚あるだけで６泊だったけれど初日のみでその後の補充は無しだった。仕方なくかわりにトイレットペーパーを使った。 夜１０時過ぎに着いて近所のデパ地下のスーパーは閉店していたので、水を買いたいけれどどこか外に売っている場所はないかとフロントに訊いたら、部屋のミニバーに水はあるだろ、と言われた。 窓の外はホテルのある区画の内側の中庭に面していて開放的ではあったが、レースカーテンがなく明かりを入れようとすると中庭を囲む建物から丸見えで、思うように広く開けられなかった。 空調が不調で温度設定が何度になっているかよくわからなかったが、掃除係の方が通報したのか３日目くらいに修理に来た。しかし結局完全には直らなく、感覚と手動でだましだまし使った。 スペインのホテルは防音が良くないとのことだったがその通りだった。 文句を言えばフロントはそれなりに対応してくれるが、全体として３つ星とは思えない程度のレベルだったように思う。 Lees meer
