Hilton Garden Inn - Flagstaff in Flagstaff

Room and amenities on target for the price range. Helpful staff, if a bit amateurish. Excellent coffee.

I called to make a reservation about 3 hours before wi arrived and the hotel only had one room with doble bed. I was at first not too happy that we will no be sleeping in a king sizes bed. But the room had very comfortable beds, it was clean and with all the necessities at hand. I was very satisfied with the room, it even had a microwave and a fridge. The pool was indoors, so we enjoyed that and the staff was friendly.

Generally very pleased with this hotel - good location and very comfortable for our three night stay. The only complaint overall was that we probably had the noisiest room in the hotel - right next to the lift and could hear shower and toilet flushing from upstairs. We visited flagstaff for the first time and did not know where to go. The staff were awesome and very helpful and kind. I am a neat freak and was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel! Indoor pool & spa tub was a nice bonus! Plus- you can adjust the firmness of each bed! Worth every penny.

My boyfriend and I booked the Hilton Garden Inn for a quick holiday getaway. While the location was perfect (just minutes to the historic downtown) the hotel itself was mediocre: a unimaginative breakfast buffet (not included in the price of the hotel) and a room with plumping that sounded like Mt. Vesuvius errupting anytime anyone flushed the toilet. […] Not much in the way of insulation. We heard noise in the hallways both nights and there weren't even that many guests in the hotel. (It was Christmas). Our bedding was so-so and the beds not even as comfortable as what we have at home. The staff that greeted me were great, I couldn't say enough about the friendly reception at all the Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at lately (I'm relocating out of state). Also, the restaurant and room service have been fantastic for the price. However, I've noticed that their beds are not as comfortable as they used to be. I think once someone adjusts […] the firmness all the way down it never goes back or something, but 3 of the last four I've stayed in seemed to have dents where a person would normally sleep and turning the knob up all the way didn't help. We have stayed her a few times. It is a very nice hotel for the price, but that also leads to an over crowded hotel on holidays. The last 2 stays I had to complain to the front desk of unsupervised children running around the pool / hot tub. Overall it is a great hotel in a nice location.

Good place to stay.

I loved how close the hotel was to downtown and the surrounding hiking spots. After a full day of outdoor activities, it was great to come back to the friendly service, complementary teas and coffee, and the indoor pool and hot tub. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. I will keep this hotel in mind the next time I visit.

We have stayed in 3 other hotels in Flagstaff and this hotel really has the best value for all that it is. The hotel staff was very nice and when I asked about Horseback Riding for the family the person at the front desk gave me a card to one of the most awesome 30 minute Trail rides I have ever taken, The beds were awesome after a days worth of hiking […] it was nice to have beds that have comfort levels so if you like soft beds or firm s beds you have the choice. The hotel is a bit far away from the centre of Flagstaff but so are all the other big chains. The reception were very helpful. We ate breakfast here the first morning and it was awful. Cocos next door do great meals including breakfast, in fact they also provide the room service so I don't know who does the breakfast but it's not worth the money.

We stayed there for one night to attend a music festival. The next morning (late morning at 10am) hotel staff came up to our room twice while we were preparing to check out due to a noise complaint. We were also followed out of the hotel by the staff after check out. Felt that it was excessive and there was NOT a party going on, just hung over and packing. […] I would not recomment this hotel for anyone under the age of 40, I would to senior citizens. Absolutely the best bed. You can adjust the firmness and the linen was clean and very soft. The only thing we didn't care for is the loud flushing of the toilet, every time you flushed, your neighbor knew it. And we know this because we could hear his toilet flushing. The location is perfect, close to all the attractions and the wonderful restaurants […] in the area. Coco's Restarurant makes the absolute best pies I have ever eaten. Had several just to make sure. My husband and parents stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while visiting multiple sites around Flagstaff including Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Painted Desert. It was a great central location for getting around to all of our destinations. We loved the staff at the hotel who were very friendly, and informative with providing local info and helping us to […] add several nights after booking with Hotels.com. Friendly staff, fantastic location and breakfast buffet is top class.

We were delighted to find the comfort, friendliness, and convenience of this hotel. Staff was cordial, cheerful and happy. Only downside was the neighborhood. It is very much suburban strip mall.

Wonderful accommodations, as well as hotel. It's always a plus to me when a hotel room doesn't have an odor--this one was great, and the front desk people were delightful! Highly recommend

great base for the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff. Really friendly helpful staff made all the difference, as did the great breakfast buffet supplied by the restaurant next door (so much more than the usual cereal and muffins). Nice and clean. The ice and vending machine across the set off an avalanche periodically throughout the night. we probably could have changed rooms had we not been too tired to request it.Breakfast overpriced.

We stayed for 4 days at this Hilton and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The front desk staff was the absolute best!!

I was very impressed with hotel. The rooms were nice and it was in a quiet area of town. The staff was very nice as well. I thought the breakfast was overpriced for what you got. The small refrigerator and microwave came in very handy.

Great room - quiet area. Bed had the adjustable mattress for his and her - loved it. Very fast internet - a must for me.

It is just a bit far from the Grand Canyon so we ended up driving a lot. Also, there are poor restaurant choices in the area so we had to shop Safeway for fresh fruits and veggies. Everything else was great.

It was very nice and clean. The staff were professional and friendly, very helpful! My husband said we'll definitely stay there again...soon! We had only been traveling through on a business trip to Phoenix, but now we will plan a trip to Flagstaff for fun for the family.

The front desk people were great. They acknowleged you when you came in the front door everytime. The beds were excellent and the rooms were clean. Two very important things. This was the nicest hotel we stayed in our trip to the Grand Caynon. Would recommend to anyone. If they keep up what they are doing they will always have happy customers.

Spent five nights -- great hot / cold continental breakfast, outstanding staff who recommended great Mexican (La Fonda) and American (Beaver St Brewery) restaurants, provided maps of area, and driving directions when asked. Very reasonable rate w/breakfast included and comfortable room.

Did not like the fact that breakfast was going to cost $10 especially for the price of the room. The pool was disappointing because it is in the lobby. You have to walk through the lobby to get to the pool. Not an enjoyable stay after driving 12 hours. Then they ding your credit card $25 after you pay for the room in full on hotels.com.

Less than expected for the price and "Hilton" name.
