liked it,desk was very helpful

unfortunately ended up i a smoking room that was disgusting. Hopefully next time i stay here I'll get a non-smoking room.

The hotel was just a nice as most of the review's gave it for the price. The rooms were comfortable and a good size. The staff was very friendly and helpful for our needs. The breakfast was not as good as I though it would be from reading the reviews. I'm just not into powder eggs and a processed breakfast bar. I though it was going to me more of a […] 4-star type breakfast with real cooks in the kitchen, but it was adequate. The only thing that turned me off during my stay was the fire alarm system went off 2 nights in a row there in the middles of the night for at least an hour. It was distressful. All and all it was an enjoyable stay and I would give this hotel another try. Lees meer

Room size was ok. Food was great - both breakfast and dinner.

My family had a great time with the indoor pool and quality food. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely nice and professional. We will return

We were in town for NHRA for the weekend. The track was less than 10 miles away from the hotel and at the end of the day, once at the hotel we could walk to several restaurants. We stay here in April and in September for NHRA and have never been disappointed.

Overall not bad. I paid for a king bed deluxe room and Hotels.com sent to the hotel that I paid for a room with 2 double beds. Talk to the guy up front and he upgraded us to a suite without question. They provided dinner from 530 to 7, breakfast from 7 to 930 and popcorn w/ soda till 10. Great customer service!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing - - very courteous and extremely helpful. Many of the staff members had been with the company for years. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The indoor/outdoor pool was kept up with clean towels etc and finally, the buffet (both breakfast and dinner/manager special) […] was excellent. The hotel was not bad at all. The location was close to the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The staff was very friendly.

This is the second time we have stay at a Drury Inn Hotel. When we got there, it was really a treat to see someone who we meet last time. Alex was working the desk and had everything ready with that great smile. 5:30 kickbacks was great too! Each night we went down and I was able to relax with a drink. Breakfast was great as well. I was in Charlotte visiting with my son for his birthday! This was my fisrt time staying at the Drury Inn . The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was really helpful!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we loved the free kickback and breakfast. We've stayed at a different Drury before and I was a little disappointed this time. They seemed to be understaffed at the front desk. When we tried to check out there was no one to be found! We had to wait over five minutes after calling the guest line multiple times. (I believe the receptionist was […] trying to train a new employee because there was another lady walking with her when she returned. So hopefully that situation will improve!) Other than that, the bedding is not as lush as other hotels and you can tell that the hotel hasn't been updated lately. All-in-all, if only staying for a little while, it's comfortable enough and not having to spend extra money on an evening snack or breakfast are definite plusses. Lees meer

Great value for the money!

We spent the afternoon shopping at nearby IKEA (though there are several more shops right there in walking distance from the hotel) and the rest of the time enjoying each other's company back at the hotel. It was easy to make a meal of the complimentary drinks and snacks (including things like baked potato, chili, and nachos) in the evening and the […] hot breakfast the next morning was the best spread I've seen yet (I stay in a dozen or more hotels a year). Staff was quick, cordial, and very helpful. The Deluxe Double room was large enough for four of us to move around in comfortably without feeling like we were on top of each other. Overall, the rate was a little steeper than I usually am willing to pay, but with two free meals we certainly came out ahead in the end! Lees meer

Note this hotel is not located off I-77. We stopped at Drury Inn Northlake first. Drury Inn Northlake is off of I-77, beautiful with very helpful and friendly staff. This hotel was okay. I didn't really believe that the breakfast and "kick start" (ie- happy hour) were real. But, they were!! A number of breakfast options were available including hot food (biscuits, eggs, sausage, oatmeal), cold food (cereal, bagels, donuts), beverages (coffee, tea, juice, milk), and fruit (apples, oranges, bananas). The kickstart included 3 alcoholic […] beverages (for those of age) and lots of food (mostly junk...I just had some nachos, but others were eating dinner!). Hotel was convenient to all locations. Was within 3 miles of two of the designated sites for the trip.

Friendly front desk, free popcorn until 10 pm, comfortable room and a large, varied breakfast in the morning. What more could we want? The woman taking care of the breakfast items did a fantastic job - she deserves extra mention.

This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful with directions. We didn't even have to spend any money on food while we stayed there because of the Kickback and breakfast buffet. The rooms were spotless and smelled fresh and clean. I will stay there whenever I return to Charlotte.

Perfect location for a race weekend at Charlotte motor speedway. Neat, clean, convenient to track, plenty of restaurants nearby (Fridays next door). Strongly recommend.

room was clean and comfortable - staff was very courteous and friendly. 5:30-7 p.m. food & drink bar made the stay well worth the while. breakfast bar was great, too. overall, excellent value - I'd stay there again even if it was a little out of the way...90th percentile hotel.

The people are friendly, the food was great, and the kick back rocks. The place to stay in Charlotte!

This is my first time at a Drury and I was extremely impressed. The staff could not have been nicer and any more helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable; the 5:30 happy hour was very good (although they had basically the same food both days I stayed there). Breakfast was the same, but there was such a variety it didn't matter and it was a decent […] meal. Huge flatscreen TVs in the room and an even bigger one in the lobby. I would have preferred queen beds, but the doubles were comfortable (four pillows on each bed). Most showers in hotels are not very strong, but this one had great water pressure and after a day of traveling, it felt really good, and nice big fluffy towels. Every amenity you could want was provided in each room (refrigerator, microwave, coffe pot, iron and board, hair dryer, laundry service, free long distance calls, and WiFi. I would HIGHLY recommend it and I will definitely stay there again. If the others in the chain are like this one, I'll try to stay at one at other places we travel to!!!! Lees meer

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was comfortable and clean. Furniture in lobby needs to be replaced (worn & dirty). Great breakfast and evening meal deal!

the hotel was great but the only problem we had was that the power went out in the whole area, all night and it was hot and dark.

The staff was excellent. Every employee we encountered asked us how are stay was and could they do anything for us. The hotel was very convenient to where we were wanted to visit. The cleanliness of the hotel was also very good. I was extremely satisfied for the quality of this hotel and the price was very reasonable.

It's a great place to stay if your looking for something in a hurry. Not good for a long stay. If you are picky about where you stay don't stay here, beds are HORRIBLE. I don't know I the room we had was old, but definitely not a suite. I am sticking with Marriot or Hilton hotels. We only needed a room for one night so I didn't make much of a fuss.

Excellent, friendly service at check-in and in the dining area. Kids liked the pool area and the buffet. Although was alot of outside noise, could hear every movement from neighbor showering at 5:30am, then cleaning at 8am, then lawn mower.... room was clean except for cobweb on ceiling

I wanted to check out local apartments in the area as I am going to move to Charlotte soon. This hotel is comfortably located nearby several apartment communities. So, that was a bug plus for me. The location was perfect for our needs; convenient to restaurants galore. Rooms were large, clean, and the beds extremely comfortable. The free, hot breakfast each morning was the bomb!

The ice machine on the 4th floor was inop for the 5 days we stayed, and the washer in the laundry was on it's last leg; only sloshing barely. The high lights were the shower and the LG TV in room. Other wise dont let the kick back sell you. Liquor isn't a deal braker.

This hotel was great. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. Very clean and family friendly.

this hotel had a family reunion staying there while we were there. They did a marvelous job of keeping everything looking neat and clean. I enjoyed my stay. The room was very nice, liked the recliner. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this hotel to friends. Will stay there if in Charlotte again.
