Sleep Inn University Place in Charlotte

Bed was a little softer than I'm ued to. Other than that all went well. Check in was a breeze and all employees were very friendly and ready to serve their customers with a smile. Room was clean and quiet. Location was great, my wife and I went to the Verison Amplatheater to see Sugarland. Easy trip from this Hotel.

On initial check-in the room we were provided already had a tenant. We were provided another room and it was satisfactory.

This was very efficient for us. I was not expecting just a shower, and not a bath tub(but I could've just skipped over that part). I'm not sure if they don't have Kings available, or were just sold out. Very convenient to Ikea, Concord Mills and downtown. The room they checked me into was not ready, housekeeping was not complete.

We had a great experiance staying here both nights. Breakfast was very good. Will stay here again next year when we come back.

I stayed one night for an in-and-out trip. It was easy to find and very close to where I needed to be the next day. Check in staff was very courteous and friendly. Everything about the room was just fine except excess air conditioner noise. I did not bother to report it until checkout, but when I did, it was promptly noted for repair. Inside corridors […] were a bit hot but room AC worked very well. The bed was firm and the sheets stayed put. I had a microwave and fridge, and the towels were good quality. I asked for directions to my morning destination and they were concise and clear. There is dining and fast food next door. I did not have the continental breakfast but it looked like plenty of seating space and I smelled waffles on my way out. The facility was clean, neat, and comfortable. It was easy to find, close to UNCC. Pleasant employees and nice breakfast.

Very disappointed with the size of the room. When I opened the door to go in the chair was up against the door. Thank goodness we asked for two double beds and not the queen. Outdated decor and tv. Did not like the fact that there was no tub and the shower stall had no place to rest my foot to shave. I honestly felt like we were in a cheap hotel. Also, […] my fiance paid for the room and when I arrived before him, the front desk clerk used my debit card (which I just thought was for incidentals) but he actually put a hold on my debit card for the two nights. The hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating, and it was very convenient to our destination. The room was clean, although it could be deodorized(smoke smell). Beds were very uncomfortable.

The hotel was comfortable. Our room was small but we made it work.

The hotel was beautiful...the room was comfortable.perfect size for me and my boyfriend...great location about 15 mins from everywhere we wanted to go...convenient parking and elevator location...surrounded by plenty eating places..had a great time will definitely stay there again.....

ideally placed for UNCC. Room was clean but small, we certainly wouldnt want to spend more than a night or two. Breakfast plentiful and adequate but too many pre packed items, not our choice normally.

Loved the room. It was very clean and quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Our room was clean and had sufficient commodities, i.e., shampoo, lotion, coffee for the coffee maker. This hotel has the best continental breakfast I have ever seen. This was the dirtiest smelliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The carpets were filthy and the smell was enough to make you gag! The toilet in the room didn't flush. Had we not been so tired we would have left. We slept on top of the bed, because we were so worried about bed bugs! The dining area was also disgusting. We were traveling to pick up our children's Christmas present. It was a puppy! We needed a pet friendly hotel. This Sleep Inn was pet & children friendly!! The check in & check out staff members were extremely friendly. The location was perfect, just off I-85. Really nice area of town, with lots of places to shop & eat. The hotel & grounds were very […] clean!! The breakfast was nice & the area was clean with lots of choices. We will def. stay there again when back in the Charlotte area!! The hotel was nice, but it was a very noisy place at night. The springs on the doors to the rooms were to tight and when people were coming in or leaving their rooms, the doors would slam shut. At 2 a.m. in the morning, it's a little aggravating. Stayred here during the recent Bank of America 500 race weekend. Very convenient, hotel staff extremely friendly. Clean, comfortable room, and price not bad either. Bathroom was very small, but clean and shower was very nice.

TV Remote would not work, and even more, we had to plunge our toilet ourselves because no one was on staff for a clogged toilet. Is convenient to the Verizon Wireless ampitheatre....not worth the amount charged. Staff was friendly and welcoming in the afternoon. Night staff was sketchy.

I had a very pleasant stay at this location. I attended a concert at verizon wireless ampitheatre and this hotel was extremely convienent for me. Next time i go to a concert I will stay here!

We were very satisfied at the value of the hotel and its close proximity to UNCC. We will stay here again when visiting. Lots of shopping in this area. Room a little small, but comfortable. Nice continental breakfast.
