Een hotel wat geschikt is voor een overnachting omdat je de volgende dag op een cruiseschip moet zijn als passagier of als bemanning.Kamer in orde en personeel correct.

Il Lugano is een schitterende accomodatie waar alles voor je geregeld kan worden of gewoon je eigen ding doen. Het is gelegen tussen het strand en aan het grote kanaal waar de meest interessante jachten. In buurt zit een supermarkt die 24 uur per dag open is en ook een zeer goed Grieks restaurant. Verder zitten de bekende zaken als Subway, Domino's pizza etc er ook. Parkeren kan voor de deur bij parkeerautomaten (USD 0,50 per uur / van 8:00 tot 18:00), echter max. voor 3 uur te vullen. Uiteraard kun je ook gebruik maken van de valet parking (USD 20 per dag). Leuk is om de watertaxi te doen, zodat je vanaf een bootje een leuke tocht kunt maken langs de schitterende huizen en adembenemende jachten. Opstapplaats voor deze watertaxi is op een aantal minuten lopen van het hotel, net aan de andere kan van de brug bij Hooters. Kortom een prima lokatie om van Fort Lauderdale te genieten!

Prima hotel en op loopafstand van alle leuke dingen die Miami Beach te bieden heeft. Mooie kamers met alle comfort en met een hek + code afgesloten voor buitenstaanders. Parkeren moet je wel reserveren bij het hotel zelf (20 dollar per dag/nacht). Wij vonden het een goed onderkomen tegen een redelijke prijs.
Ligging.
Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation ligt in West Fort Lauderdale in Plantation, dicht bij Westfield Broward Mall. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Sawgrass Mills Mall en Buehler Planetarium and Observatory.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation heeft een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Dit hotel met met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een koffietentje/café en een bar/lounge. Gasten krjjgen gratis ontbijt. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, evenementencatering en bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een wasserij, gratis kranten in de foyer en stomerij-/wasserijservices. Parkeren op locatie is gratis. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

We kwamen voor de middan aan en konden meteen inchecken. Kamers zijn ruim met lounche gedeelte. Als ik een nadeel zou moeten noemen dan is de badkamer klein in vergelijking met de rest van de kamer. De airco is ook iets wat lawaaierig, wij hebben hem niet nodig gehad dus uitgeschakeld. Naast het hotel zit een uitstekend restaurant J. Alexander. Kost […] een beetje maar dan heb je ook wat!. Het is er erg druk dus je hebt kans dat je moet wachten voordat je en tafel hebt. Maar het is zeker de moeite waard. Het hotel ligt 15 minuten van Fort Lauderdale af en 10 minuten van Sawgrass Mills kortom genoeg te doen en For Lauderdale is leuk om te bezoeken. Lees meer

Prima hotel, wij verbleven hier maar 1 nacht. +/- 10 minuten van Sawrgass Mill en +/- 25 minuten van het Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Pijs/kwaliteit verhouding was prima, goed maar niet al te uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Goede bedden, schone kamer.

"Verblijf voor een cruise"
Heel netjes verzorg met een zeer goed ontbijt. 1 groot minpunt was de geur op de kamer net zweetsokken geur. Ben onmiddellijk geurvreter gaan kopen maar dit hielp niet veel. Spijtig dit is het enige minpunt.

I have stayed at this hotel before, staff are very friendly, rooms are comfortable, I like the location.
"Not great..."
First of all...The front desk staff have no idear of what service is..they do not say hallo when you check in, ore a "goodmorning" when you come down in the morning. I also had to ask 3 times for extra towels, and finally I got got them from the night cleark at 11 pm. The first room we got had a really bad smell..I think it came from the carpet..We […] got another room, that did not smell. The Aircondition in the room was very old, and you could not put it on a exact temperature, only..low to high..that was a so annoying. And the noise from the aircon...next to the bed was really bad. I loved this hotel! I was coming off of 8 days business travel in another state and had not had a good nights sleep until I got here. I really like the room layout, the bed was so comfortable and the selection they have at the breakfast they serve is top notch. My only improvement would be to add weights to the fitness room as well as a tv.

very clean hotel in very nice area - restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Free continental breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Washer and dry on premises was convenient, especially when hadn't planned on staying an extra day.

There was rust and mold in the shower as well as missing caulk. After we had been in our room for 4 hours, another family was given our room and of course attempted to enter. We attempted to call the front desk but the phone did not work and we had to call from our cell phone. We asked to talk to the general manager who was due the next day, but he […] never called. Great find -- nice, new looking hotel with neat rooms, friendly staff, good rates. Convenient to the Ft. Lauderdale airport and close to I-595 for quick access to the rest of the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area.

"nice hotel and location, really nice people"
everything was good all around, only minor issue was the pool heater was broken, and they gave us a voucher for free hot breakfast (the included breakfast is cold only) so they don't lose too many points for that. Stayed over the Xmas weekend, they had limited personnel but they changed towels for everybody and had room service if you wanted to ask […] for it. location is safe, and relatively close to area attractions, except the beach. Room and hotel are very clean, seem well maintained and comfortable, my pregnant girlfriend approves, and that's a lot. We would go back again, but if they were closer to the beach it'd be awesome! Nice hotel good location, the room was layed out very well, and small amenities that went a long way such as being able to plug you ipod, laptop, blu-ray right into the tv. free breakfast and close by dinning was a huge plus! Will stay again

Room had a musty smell the a/c unit was loud and blew directly on the bed with no way to redirect the air flow (wall unit) the towel holder in the shower was rusted the fridge would not get cold, no ice machine on the floor I was on the late check out policy is unfriendly no room service Bed linens were ruff

The hotel is not located near I-95; the service was suspect - not enough people to handle the dining and front desk; the Internet was down, the express check out is far from "express", the equipment in the workout room was broken and no TV. Rooms are nice and quiet, TV's in rooms are nice -

The reason why I have given this Hotel such a poor rating is that the Internet service at the hotel was down for 4 days, despite almost every guest complaining about it every day, and the Hotel showed no sense of urgency to fix the problem. "Inexpensive, clean, good service"
Stayed here for thanksgiving holiday to see the family - they live nearby. Good access to shopping mall and a few chain restaurants. Staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help. Checkout very easy. Computers available for printing boarding passes and internet/e-mail. Free wifi throughout the place. Didn't eat the free continental breakfast […] but it was always busy when we walked past it - looked pretty good and had Starbucks coffee (yes!). Room was well decorated, looked modern and clean, and fit a lot into a small space. I would not recommend to an older couple but as a younger couple it was just right. Water pressure was good and hot water was hot. Toilets flush strongly. Everything appeared clean and had a big TV. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Air conditioner was a little old but it worked... We will stay here again. Price was right, quality was right, and I felt safe. Lees meer
"Good value if my reservation was honoured"
Booked a King but was provided room with two double beds. No effort to remedy by Guest Services at check in. That's the reason for my low rating. Small and slow elevators. Excellent restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Great breakfast buffet
Very clean and everything you would expect from a Hyatt hotel at an affordable price. Downside is, loud AC unit (under window) close to the beds.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel room was clean and very comfortable and the location was optimal due to the variety of restaurants and easy access to the highway. I would definitely stay here again :)

If you are in the shopping mode this is your hotel. It is close to Sawgrass mall (7 mi) and has everything you need very close by. All the rooms have a small livingroom, desk and a kitchenette. This is the second time I arrived to this hotel, and for sure I will come back again

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in Plantation and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel especially the guest rooms. However, the dining options were very disappointing. They don't offer room service, and when I ordered a turkey wrap for $9 from their "deli", I only got one slice of turkey. Pretty stingy if you ask me. "Clean Clean Clean"
Did I mention it was clean!!! I am very picky when it comes to hotels for the sake of my children it MUST be clean and safe and this hotel was BOTH!! I was very pleased with my stay, the room was huge!!! I hate going to south florida but when I do go I will be staying here from now on.

Excellent location. Close to 595 and other major roads. There was a full sized mall around the corner. Plenty of restaurants/bars close by. If you don't know south fl. Plantation is a very nice upscale surburban area. Hotel was modern updated and a great value . Nice living area with a sectional in the room. Service was very helpful.

First, we reserved a King bed and when we got there, they told us, sorry, we sold out of King beds so you are stock with 2 Queen beds. Second, their pool is a joke. Any neighborhood public pool looks nicer and cleaner than their pool. So forget about using the pool (no wonder why it was always empty). This is more like a cheap 1 star hotel at the price […] of a 3 star. Don't waste your time and money, stay away from this hotel. I know, next time I will. Lees meer
"Fantasy football weekend!"
Needed a place close to friends and family. Great location! Very close to sawgrass shopping :) loved the breakfast options very clean dining area and great prices for full breakfast, planning to stay again!
Room was modern and clean, refrigerator was a nice plus. Air conditioner was loud the entire time, that was the only drawback.
"Not what I would expect out of a Hyatt"
This was a dressed up La Quinta. Not that La Quinta is bad, dont get me wrong! But if you pay for a 4 star (not sure what a 3.5 is) hotel you expect that. This certainly wasnt. Next time I will stay at the La Quinta on University for half the price.

"Nice location... decent room"
Never had a problem with the room. Staff are very friendly. Fitness center one of the equipment wasnt working. Other than that it was pretty nice and comfortable.
