Zeer hulpvaardig personeel, een aardige concierge die alles weet, schoon, nette bAdkamer. Gewoon uitmuntend voor wat je ervoor betaald. Ontbijt in hotel is duur, niet geprobeerd.

Uitstekend hotel met vriendelijk, behulpvaardig hotel. Voor New Yorkse begrippen zeer ruime en betaalbare kamer. Uitstekende bedden en schone kamers met HD-tv met HBO! Voor het ontbijt moet extra worden betaald. Dat is niet goedkoop, maar zeer de moeite waard. Enige (heel klein) minpuntje is de ligging, maar op dat gebied ben ik verwend: bij een vorige […] bezoek zat ik nl in een hotel (de New Yorker) tov MadisonSquare/Penn Station, met een metrostation waar drie lijnen stopte en Macy's praktisch om de hoek. Maar dat hotel is een stuk duurder en heeft veel kleinere kamers dan het Courtyard. Naast het Courtyard hotel ligt een 24uurs winkel, maar voor meer vermaak en voorzieningen moet toch een stukkie worden gelopen: Times Square, het prachtige Grand Central Station en Central Park liggen op een dik kwartier lopen. En goede restaurants zijn er in de buurt ook nauwelijks. Voor de boekliefhebbers: een vestiging van Barnes & Noble (met een Starbucks inpandig) ligt amper 100 meter van het hotel vandaan. Hetzelfde pand bevat tevens een restaurant. Ik heb het niet geprobeerd, omdat ik de kaart wat bescheiden vond in mogelijkheden en prijzig. hotel lag vrij centraal zodat je overal kon komen. Je had geen last van lawaai of drukte. Prima. We hadden een kamer met 5 personen, dat ging heel goed. Heel netjes.

Een hotelkamer voor vijf personen vinden was op quasi elke bookingsite onmomgelijk behalve op hotels.com. Onze familiekamer op de 26ste verdieping was geweldig en maakte ons verblijf in New York onvergetelijk.

We loved this location, subway nearby. Others may find it a bit out of the way depending on where you are going. The large room with two queen beds and the sitting area with the sofa gave us ample room.

In short, there was nothing flawed about our stay at this Courtyard. The rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable, and the service was great. There was nothing exceptional about the stay, but when I'm looking to spend time in NYC (and not just the hotel), this gave me exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for more. This was my second visit to New York, the first I stayed at the holiday in and there is nothing to be compared of. To describe the courtyard hotel... The rooms were large and clean, the bed was really comfortable. The service by the staff was great and knowledgable, also they really helped us with a really early check in. Liked this hotel because the room was spacious enough for 3 adults and 1 8-year old. Also this hotel is just far enough away from the crowds of tourist. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Great stay at this hotel. We arrived at 10 am, left our bags and the hotel staff ensured that we had 2 rooms next to each other after our day of sightseeing. Large, clean rooms with Internet included in the room price. Coffee maker, refrigerator, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Next door to the hotel is a 24 hr pharmacy for drinks and snacks […] etc. 15 min walk to Times Square. Ate breakfast at Madison's on 1st and 53rd, which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, fabulous food, old diner style, wait staff very smart and attentive. Bustling place on the weekend, full of locals! Family vacation and this hotel fit the bill - not much in terms of service, but it is a Courtyard. Great views of the city and top location. The only negative as that we wanted to watch some of the Yankee game after a full day walking and their cable package had no YES network - bummer! I would still recommend it.

On the first night of arrival we were pleased with the cleanliness of the room etc. however, when the first of the family showered it was apparent that the water was not draining. After a quick word with the hotel staff we were moved to the top floor to a newly renovated room which was absolutely perfect! The hotel is in a great location for everything. […] The size of the family rooms are huge and more than enough space for a family of five. The hotel is right next to the Subway station, which makes travelling more practical. It is also merely a few streets away from Central Park and Times Square. More importantly for me (whose first language is French, and who is an admirer of French culture, especially gastronomy), the hotel is very close to the French neighborhood, embassy, and bar/ […] restaurants. The hotel was under construction while I was there which led to some of my poor review, but the biggest issue was the fact that the hotel is above the subway. I was on the 15th floor and could hear the trains coming and going all day long. Also, I did not find the staff to be customer centered. The bellman never offered to get the door even when I juggled […] two bags and an umbrella. I also stored my bag and called ahead so that it could be brought down from the 12th floor (again, because of the construction). The woman who answered acted as if this was a huge inconvenience! I had a tight schedule to make it to LGA and didn't feel as if that was appropriate. I definitely would choose to stay elsewhere during my next trip. Lees meer

After reading reviews about this hotel I was skeptical, but chose it anyway. Am I glad I did! The renovations so far look GREAT! The rooms are really nice and the beds are super comfy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location was good. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location - subway, sights, convenience store, restaurants. Good size room considering location - family of 5. Staff was helpful and friendly. Facilities lacking (no useful gym, no pool, not a good restaurant). Good deal because of room, staff and specially location.

They really should be more clear that the hotel is undergoing massive renovations. The rooms are typical Courtyard rooms, nothing special for a $299(!!!!) price tag. With so many other options around you are much better off at the Marriott only a few blocks away, The W or other boutique. Stay away!!!

Hotel under construction, check in on 12th floor was a bit confusing but hotel clean and organized , didn't appear to be any security at door so potentially street access to room door was possible seemed strange in NYC. Subway right outside door was good and plenty to do in the area. Walk from Grand central took 10 minutes.

When you pull up to a beautiful hotel highly rated, you expect that. Instead we were in a hotel that was being completely renovated and were not told.
