We zijn er net geweest, off season. Bedenk goed dat je eind feb - begin maart rekening moet houden met sneeuwval en daarmee samenhangend afgesloten hiking trails en kou. Zion is overweldigend mooi. Als je tijd hebt, fit genoeg bent en niet bang bent voor écht wild (niet van dat gevoerde hoge veluwe wild) dan is het zeer de moeite waard om een meerdaagse hike door het park te maken. Vergeet de permits voor de overnachtingen dan niet (ver van te voren aanvragen!) In Springdale (op 3 minuten rijden van het hotel) kun je goed en lekker eten bij Oscar's maar let op: Amerikaanse porties dus één hoofdgerecht is behoorlijk veel. Oscar's heeft burrito's en een uitgebreide vegetarische keus. Leuke bediening. Tot slot: 's Avonds door het dorp rijden vraagt om lage snelheden want wild is hier echt nog wild duikt uit het niets op voor je koplampen. Quality inn is een hotel annex SRV/camping terrein, laat je daar niet door afschrikken. Wij vonden de kamer goed. Het ontbijt? Zeker niet het beste van onze (nog ongoing) reis door de USA.

In september hebben wij 3 nachten geboekt bij de Zion Park Inn. Kan niet anders zeggen, dan perfecte locatie (shuttle voor de deur), nette kamers, geweldige omgeving -grote supermarkt, cafes en restaurants in de buurt en 1 van de mooiste parken: Zion rondom. Wat wil je nog meer? Ik heb een zonnesteek opgelopen en was daar dus erg ziek. Zo fijn dat het receptiepersoneel mijn vriend heeft geholpen met goede medische adviezen en extra hulp. Aanrader!!

Dit is een mooi hotel. De kamers zien er erg verzorgd en stijlvol uit. De omgeving (tussen de bergen) is prachtig. Het zwembad is vrij groot. Voor de deur kun je op de bus stappen naar zion park. Het dorpje bestaat uit 1 lange straat. Elke hotel in die straat heeft een mooie ligging t.o.z. van het park.

Modern, schoon en netjes. Enige nadeel is dat in onze kamer de douche niet warm werd en de straal heel zuinig was (kon mijn haar niet fatsoenlijk wassen). We bleven maar 1 nacht, zouden we langer zijn gebleven dan had ik om een andere kamer gevraagd.
Ligging.
Days Inn Hurricane Zion Park ligt in Hurricane. Plaatselijke bezienswaardigheden zijn onder andere Quail Creek State Park, Sand Hollow State Park en Wells Fargo Silver Reef Museum. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Coral Canyon Golf Course.

Gasten krijgen elke ochtend een gratis ontbijt. Naast een binnenzwembad heeft Days Inn Hurricane Zion Park voorzieningen als parkeerplaatsen voor campers en vrachtauto's. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Parkeren op locatie is gratis.

Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

"Goedkoop, en geen service"
Day inn is een goed koop hotel hetos ongeveer een half uur rijden naarzion park. Service is slecht, het personeel is niet vriendelijk en niet behulpzaam. Maar voor deze prijsis het prima voorwen nachtje

"National Park Explorer"
It is pretty much very standard for 2-star hotel. However, it would be much more if the hotel is maintained little more, such as ceiling fan (almost falls off), AC (very little air comes out) and the bath tub (very slippery). The breakfast was not properly monitored although it was still within allowable time (6:30 - 9:30 AM).
"did not honour reservation"
be careful, they only honour reservations when money has been transacted, you will realise it when everything verbal gets honourably ignored by them, e.g. phone, conversations. this does not happen for other honourable motels.
It was ok but the beds need to be softer they were a little hard. But we had a great time there. The breakfast was great.

The hotel is about 25 miles from Zion. My family of five stayed here on a Thursday night. I don't think we would ever stay there more than one or two nights. The foyer is pretty nice. Our room had clean sheets. The room seemed to be clean, maybe just needs to be updated. Had a broken alarm clock, showerhead was leaky. We did have hot water for 4 showers. The staff was kind and happily supplied extra towels and blankets, but the room was not in very good condition. Things were old and not super clean. I was really surprised that there were no fitted sheets on the beds--both sheets were flat sheets. It was nice to have a complimentary breakfast, but the room was very small and crowded with not many food […] options. We were glad to find a place that allowed a family of 5 to stay, and glad they supplied us with a roll-away bed. But we probably won't stay there again. Lees meer

"Nothing special, but great for the price."
My stay was short, but fine. No problems. The place is old and nothing special, but I expected that paying what I did. I wish the pool was heated, but that was my only complaint.

it was a great stay, but the pool spa needed better ventalion. both of my sons had asthma attacks in there due to way to much chlorine. other than that it was good... nice to have the two beds plus the couch bed, would have been better if we would have had more towels. 3 towels to 5 people not good

First off, indoor pool. AWESOME. Any hotel with an indoor pool is a winner in my book. It's something for the traveling family to use to unwind, even in cold weather. Love it. The breakfast was great. Really, waffles and cereal and toast and all other awesome things. I don't know why other people complain. It's a great amount of food. The pool was great, hot tub too! We went every evening and morning, wonderful after a day of hiking. A great bonus for my 4 yr. old

"Tired Hotel"
The hotel needs to be fixed up, both inside and out. Our sink plug was disconnected and never fixed, although we mentioned it to the manager. The screen was not on the window, but was on the ground two floors below. The breakfast was not up to normal standards. "Hotel is fairly close to Zion Nat'l Park"
Hotels closest to Zion Nat'l Park can be very expensive during peak times. This hotel was an excellent alternative. The room rate was very reasonable. It's 20-30 minutes from the Zion park entrance. We booked a room with a King size bed. The room was large and we were pleasantly surprised by the huge in-room heart shaped spa. The hotel does have a pool […] and hot tub. The free breakfast had basic offerings, but it saves money. Eat in Zion as the restaurants near the hotel are few. Lees meer

The tub wasn't draining, the room had a bad smell, and the wireless internet was very slow. Other than that everything was OK. Didn't eat the breakfast but looked to have OJ and Apple Juice, two kinds of cold cereal, a waffle maker, and bread, muffins, & baggles.
"Functional but far away"
Hurricane is about 30 minutes from Zion and this hotel is on the far side of Hurricane. Our only problem was a very loud AC unit, which we fixed by dissembling the cover (as had the previous occupant). Other than that, it a decent budget hotel, and in the end it's perfect to get back to Vegas to catch that plane.

This motel was a decent motel. For the price, it definitely made visiting Zion national park more comfortable. Cons: the pool was a little murky and the free breakfast was lame (cereal and toast, but only til 9:30)
"Careless maintenance"
They gave me a room that had an air conditioner that could not be adjusted. It was obvious they knew of this defect, yet they gave it to us when we were staying 2 nights. Of course we complained the next day and they gave us another room, but they immediately put someone else in this room, who must have also suffered as we did. They looked totally unconcerned […] as I tried to explain the problem. Obviously because they knew the problem and had no intention of fixing it. Avoid this place like the plague! Lees meer

They charged us more of what their price list said for services, and their customer service was REALLY REALLY bad!!! Will not be staying there again.

The room felt like a sauna when we first entered. After the "AC" was on for two hours, it was still uncomfortably hot. We had to sleep with the air on all night, and it could not have been louder! Very difficult to sleep well. This hotel might be okay in colder months...

I stayed in this hotel and was treated well. The staff was friendly and they were ready to help out in every way. They also would help us guide and suggest places of attraction near by. Breakfast was good though it was not full american continental breakfast, but sufficient enough to fill your tummy. "Distrance from Zions Misleading"
Very disappointed that hotels.com advertized distance from Zions was inaccurate. The hotel is at least 30 miles away, not the 16 posted by hotels.com. Hotels.com seems to use miles "as the crow flies." Otherwise, this property was a standard budget accommodation.

Just a place to sleep. The room was a nice size and was close to Zion and St. george. The breakfast was really bad but the size of the room was good for 5 guests. Next time I think we'll stay in St. George.

There is only thing about our experience at this Days Inn which would have been appreciated by me. We were staying in a motel because of family activities to be held in the area. We left our home in Flagstaff quite early and could have spent more time with the reunion people if we could have had an "early check in" time, even if it meant just putting […] our luggage in the room and then leaving, to return in the late afternoon or evening. We needed space in our vehicle, and wanted to remove luggage from it, We waited until check in time. It was no "big deal", The beds were already made and the maid quickly swished the vacuum around. and we found things to do in Hurricane until we could check in.. Lees meer

Close to highway. Got nice indoor swimming pool. However the AC does not work well. The breakfast is terrible.

The is what you pay for. I only needed a place to sleep for a night and it fulfilled its duty. The breakfast was not much and the shower was affected by others flushinfg their toliets. The A/C can only be turned off by unplugging it. Like I said I only needed a place to crash for a night and it served its purpose. Sleeping in ghetto hotels is all apart […] of the experience.
