Holiday Inn Brownsville in Brownsville

Comfortable.

i enjoyed this hotel very nice people in front desk...

This facility is very disorganized. I arrived before my wife so I arrainged to have a key available to her when she arrived. The on duty clerk made her pay to get in the room. I got it taken care of but what a disorganized mess their front desk is. It is a disgrace for Holiday Inns to have them as part of their chain.

It was apparent that the hotel was about 95 % done with renovation. But in all, my stay was very enjoyable. The common area and my room was very clean. Bed was extremly comfortable. Convenient to many restaurants and mall. Hotel restaurant offers a nice hot breakfast buffet at a great value. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Bathroom had a mildewey odor.

Air-conditioning seemed to work fine, however the humidity stayed high so there was a mildewy odor mainly in the bathroom. Even the bed pillows seemed to be a little damp.

First of all, this hotel does not have an elevator, hauling luggage up the stairs after a recent knee replacement was not fun. Although the room was non smoking it smells like a smoky filled hallway getting to your room. Front desk was NOT helpful or courtesous. I would not recommend this hotel at all. One problem though. Just don't fall for the "Buffet Breakfast" where you pay $5 to enter and then are charged $4 for each orange juice and each coffee ordered. I got tricked, but other than that, the stay was really great.

I had such a wonderful stay in Austin at the Drury Inn and Suites. Much of it was due to the amazing customer service of the whole staff, but one employee in particular who I wish to thank -- DJ at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, including helping me with my luggage, which is not her duty. She was pleasant, […] informative of places to go in Austin and generally a great representative of the quality of service you get at Drury Inn. Staying at Holiday Inn 3777 N Expressway was very comfortable,my family enjoyed the stay.

Was very happy with my stay at the Holiday Inn Definately would recommend hotel to others

Hotel lobbies smelled like a dumpster outside our room. We had non-smoking rooms and yet the hall smell was disgusting. No exaggeration. Rooms are quite dated, a bit grimmy... but I guess this is what is expected for a 3-star in Brownsville. I had stayed at the Homewood Suites weekend before, and it was tons better. I should have payed a bit more to […] stay there the second time around. Breakfast at the Holiday Inn was below average. The bacon tasted and looked like it was a day or two old. The "eggs" (if you want to call them that) were okay. I'm not a picky traveler at all, nor am I skiddish, but this particular Holiday Inn didn't have much going for it for the price. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly. We LOVED the bed! It was so comfortable. We had a balcony in our room, but there were no chairs to sit outside. We were down there to attend to some personal business. The location was easy to find. Would definately stay there again when we go back down there!

The hotel is quiet, clean and maintained well. The staff are especially accomodating. I would highly recommend staying here, especially for the price!

Hotel was clean. The outside pool was being fixed was looking forward to swimming. All in all the hotel was convienent to the surrounding areas.

We realized our room at Holiday Inn, Brownsville was far superior when we checked in to another Hotel in another town. It was really a nice experience. Cleanliness was exemplary. They had not switched on microwave, refrigerator etc, making us to plug their power chords, may be to save electricity. The staff helped us to find our reach our points of […] interest too. The hotel was comfortable, employees friendly, & pool area in good shape. Rooms were good size, clean and a/c worked just fine. What u expect from a Holiday Inn.

The hotel was great!!, but if I had to complain about anything it would be the fitness room. The equipment seemed like it was purchased at a garage sale... it hade to be 25 years old. Other than that it was a beautiful hotel!

Excelente ubicación para quienes quieren tener acceso a otros sitios turísticos. Tamaño de habitaciones muy bueno. Muy buen servicio de limpieza.
