Dit hotel ligt vlak bij de luchthaven en dus ideaal wanneer je vlucht de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrekt. De kamers zijn comfortabel en proper, de mensen van de receptie zeer behulpzaam. Er is een shuttle van en naar de luchthaven en van daaruit kan je de light rail naar het centrum nemen. Je bent dan wel bijna een uur onderweg...

Het hotel zag er mooi uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Eigenlijk zijn wij niet anders gewend van dit hotelketen. De badkamer met wastafel in één kamer (hadden wij niet in de vorige hotels) beviel goed. Wij hadden een kamer voor niet-rokers, maar er hing een vage rokerslucht in de kamer. Met het schaamrood op de kaken probeerde de receptie dit te herstellen. Opgelost middels citroen verfrisser: wellicht toch ontstaan door de kleding van een zware roker vóór ons. De bedden waren perfect en wifi en de beschikbare parkeerruimte waren goed. We hebben door een technische storing een dag zonder wifi gezeten: erg vervelend maar éénmalig. Het raam kon open voor frisse lucht en geluiden uit de natuur: prettig. Het ontbijt was basic (continental breakfast), maar goed genoeg om de dag te beginnen. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Wij zijn hier 6 nachten gebleven. Al met al was het een plezierig verblijf in een rustige omgeving: ik zou hier zeker terugkomen.

Het hotel zag er netjes uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. De kamer en de badkamer waren klein, maar OK. De overige zaken, zoals wifi en parkeerruimte waren goed. De airco was echter luidruchtig en met het raam open was er veel overlast van het verkeer. Het ontbijt was basic, maar goed verzorgd met dagelijks vers fruit. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Het hotel ligt niet ver van de Alderwood mall. Wij zijn hier 3 nachten gebleven. Ondanks de kleine kamer en kleine minpunten zou ik hier zeker terugkomen.

Exactly what you'd expect of the hotel. Basic, but clean. Free basic breakfast and a shuttle to the airport every half hour. If you want to watch TV, there are enough channels. In a nuttshell: a good place to stay a few days or just overnight if you have a flight the next day.

The hotel is pretty basic and has a shared bathroom, but that's also mentioned on this or its site. The showers weren't too good though and one needs the door fixed. But good enough for a short stay. The neighbourhood has all the things you need and it's a 5-10 min busride from downtown and about 10 min from Northgate shopping center. Breakfast was ok. Sheets were clean and helpful personell. I wasn't expecting anything big, so for me it was pretty good. Don't expect a 4-star hotel.

Homewood Suites by Hilton-Downtown heeft 161 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een kluis en een gratis krant. Elke kamer is voorzien van een internetverbinding via tv (toeslag). Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel, een videogameconsole en een videospeler. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, een gratis weekkrant en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Alle units hebben een keuken met een magnetron, een koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een klokradio. De beeldende Space Needle staat in Seattle Center, twee minuten rijden met de monorail vanuit het centrum. Zowel de trein als de toren zijn in 1962 gebouwd voor de World's Fair. Het Seattle Center biedt opera, ballet en theater, en je vindt er de Key Arena, het Pacific Science Center en het Experience Music Project. Het naburige negen are grote Olympic Sculpture Park zorgt voor een onderbreking. Je hebt er bij de waterkant uitzicht op de Olympic Mountains.

"Good"
The location is great, the rooms are good, the breakfast is okay but the lunchroom is too small and too crowded that you have to be in line to serve yourself and to wait for more food to come out. When I arrive there the bathroom sink was clogged, the base of the toilet was dirty, the phone was not working. The first night (of 3 nights) we made coffee […] then the next morning after the room was cleaned the coffe pot was gone but I though that the maintenance lady was going to bring it over but she never did! Overall it is a nice hotel, the staff is really nice! But it is kind of expensive, for the money I paid I was expecting more. Lees meer

This was a perfect place to meet up with friends from all over the country. The enormous suite (with kitchen) was bigger than our house and breakfast was delicious too.

"Homewood in Seattle-Way too expensive"
For the quality of this hotel it was way to expensive. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Plus 50 for parking on top of everything.

Room was clean and large but very noisy in the evening. We had stairs below our bedroom and people were out there smoking and talking at all hours and it sounded like they were inside your room. 4 of us stayed there but they didn't have enough shampoo samples. Didn't like our carpets being cleaned while we stayed but let them unknowing they shampooed […] one of the chairs that was sat on and we go our buts wet. Realy enjoyed the breakfast every morning. "Great value"
Getting a suite-sized room for the price I paid felt like a heck of a bargain. Though not located near too many of the more tourist focused attractions, I did find most everything within comfortable walking distance. I walked the mile from Pike's Place Market back to the hotel and quite enjoyed it. The Space Needle is also a reasonably short walk away, […] but mind the hills. "Good Basic Hotel"
All was good. Service is good, clean and rooms are good. It was cold outdoors and we needed to turn the heat on. The heat is not so good, the machine made a serious amount of noise and would kick in and out with a racket. The heat did not really heat the room so we turned it off and bundled up. It was late when we checked in so we did not want to deal […] with engineering or the front desk; but it was not good. The walls are thin and the noise in other rooms was quite loud, so you can hear most of everything from TVs to screaming kids and arguing adults. The hallways had a lot of running kids up and down, so being a weekend, we got the full impact. I put earplugs in for that part and that worked ok. Overall, good hotel. Lots of street parking, so don't pay the 15 bucks for indoor parking. The breakfast is typical tasteless its for free stuff....coffee is weak and you get what you pay for. I suggest you go to CJs for breakfast on First & Cedar, a nice walk. Lees meer

"great location and breakfasts"
We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay here again if we ever have a need for a downtown hotel again. Easy access to many downtown sights. Very comfortable room. Breakfast had variety and changed daily so that was enjoyable.
Clean and a good deal. Hot breakfast every morning, staff were very helpful and friendly. Love having a suite with a kitchenette and separate living room, easier to enjoy when travelling with kids.

"Excellent staff and location"
I called this hotel 4 times before I even got to Seattle and then asked the front desk staff daily for info on busses, sites, meals, etc. They were incredible. My Mom and I have never had better staff - friendly, knowledgeable, informative. Room, breakfast, location great. Bus stop right outside the hotel, but we walked several times as well and felt […] safe. We had a nice view of the bay. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lees meer
"Homewood Suites Downtown Seattle"
The location was great and the buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Even at quarter to nine when it was closing at nine there were lots of fresh warm selections of everything. The dinning room was clean large and perfect for families. The dinner/cocktail reception was also excellent with staff going over and above to get us a diet coke instead […] of the beer they were offering. That being said there were some serious down sides to the stay. After a long day of sight seeing it was disappointing to arrive back in our room to find it had not been serviced. The maids arrived to clean the room at 5pm but the kids were in no mood to deal with that so we had to settle for fresh towels and messy beds. One of the two elevators was out of order with no known time of repair. The room was large but well worn. Cigarette holes in the curtains etc. even though we were on a non-smoking floor. The pull out couch sagged to the floor with several springs completely missing and the additional cot was in the same state. The kitchen was big enough with everything needed for a short stay but we were disappointed that with all that space there was only a two seat kitchen table in a two bedroom suite that sleeps up to six guests. We were also shocked to find only one bathroom since we booked through hotels.com and were told it had two bathrooms. No fault of the hotel but not really suitable for two families traveling together with 3 young kids. We loved our trip and made the best of the situation but would not stay here again. The food does not make up for the lack of amenities and the extremely long waits for the elevator. Lees meer
"Poor service"
The neighborhood felt unsafe. We arrived around 7:00 PM and there was no parking left in the garage and we were told we would have to park on the street. The folks at the front desk did not offer to send anyone to help with our bags and just watched as I schlepped the bags in from the car and found my own luggage cart (they could have at least pointed […] out where the carts were). I was asked to sign an agreement stating that I would not smoke in my non-smoking room. When I asked why ( I do NOT smoke) the man at the front desk informed me that the annual Hemp Fest was going on across the street and that's why the hotel was so crowded. Sure enough, at midnight, the skunky smell of pot wafted through the bathroom vent into our room. It was disgusting! I didn't bother calling anyone at the front desk as they had all been less than helpful up to that point. Oh, and one of the two elevators was not functioning during our entire stay, resulting in waits up to 10 minutes at breakfast and check-in and check-out. We did take the stairs to the 6th floor a few times. We had stayed in much nicer hotels for less money during the rest of our trip. The housekeepers seemed to be the only ones doing their job. Clean, friendly staff, and good location in Seattle. We were very pleased with our room. It was spacious and nice to have a place to relax that felt more like home than a hotel room. Having breakfast every morning was convenient.

We stayed only one night at the hotel, before a cruise... unfortunately we did not book this hotel at our return from the cruise... there we booked an overpriced hotel at the waterfront.. just on the Edge:-) The rooms at Homewood Suites was really great... and very spacious. Staff was nice and helpfull. We asked them for the breakfast next morning (was […] included) what the price would be as we had some friends that will join us for breakfast... answer was... no worries... breakfast is for our guest and their guest.. Hotel is just ashort walk away from the space needle and all the attractions in this area. A short walk of 15 minutes will take you to the market place. Absuletly my next choice for Seattle Lees meer

Given the excellent rate we received, we were impressed by the size of the room, the amenities (a decent size suites-style kitchen), and the extras (a hot breakfast buffet). The hotel was within easy walking distance from decent restaurants, a grocery store, and the Space Needle/Seattle Center. It also was conveniently located to the pier from which […] our cruise departed. The staff was courteous and helpful. One suggestion as to the sofa beds, however. It said Bay Side view but all we saw was a concrete wall. Not much around it either. Everything else was ok.

"Homewood headache"
Air conditioning gave the 3 of us horrible headache. You cannot open the windows in king suite not even a tiny one.????? I would never again spend a night in that suite. So make sure to get a room with a balcony or one with openable windows. Besides that everything else was ok. People at reception very friendly.

"If you're looking for the best, you've found it!"
Our experience with Homewood Suites was fantastic from start to finish. When I was booking the room, I was quoted a rate that was lower than any other hotel in that area. It was so reasonable that I almost expected the hotel to be run down, dirty and in a bad neighborhood. That was absolutely NOT the case. When we check in, we noticed immediately that […] the hotel lobby was modern, clean & decorated very nicely. The staff at the front desk were warm, welcoming and friendly. The two gentlemen were very well informed as to where we could locate anything that we needed, the breakfast buffet schedule , directions, etc. When we reached our room, the roll away bed that we had requested for our daughter was furnished to us immediately. No waiting! Our room itself was clean, fresh, well stocked, had a view of the bay and was ohhh, so comfortable. I loved having the small kitchen in our room. This was so convenient! Even though we were there on a weekend, it was quiet and peaceful in the hotel all throughout our stay. The thing that "clinched it" for me, though, was the complimentary buffet breakfast served in the dining room every morning. It had a wide variety of foods, both hot and cold and was absolutely delicious! The staff quickly refilled all of the serving dishes with a smile! They were just as friendly as the front desk staff. There's a small shop just off of the lobby where you could purchase items such as bread, milk, candy, etc. which was very convenient. The newspaper was delivered to our room each morning which is a must for my husband. The only thing missing was perhaps a swimming pool... The rooms had clean, comfortable furnishings including a big screen TV and even a small dining table just off of the kitchen. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and stocked with my favorite brand of soaps, lotions, shampoos and conditioners. Of course, the location was perfect! "Homewood Suites Downtown is my new "Go To" Hotel"
This hotel in downtown Seattle is in the perfect location for visiting Seattle Center, the waterfront, and downtown shopping - all of which is within walking distance. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was delicious every day, and the facility was very well kept. I will stay here whenever I visit Seattle and recommend it highly.
We found it to be alittle noisey where our room was situated because of cars going in and out of the under ground parking . our room was just above the under ground parking. Otherwise of the noise from the garage door it was good.
"Everything is great, except the breakfast"
The hotel offers greate service and location. The only drawback was the free breakfast. Everything was overcooked. Fortunately there is a greasy spoon just a few blocks away called "The Shanty" which offers a great breakfast, but a bit pricey.

"Clean and nice"
Clean and nice it was close to the piers and the fish market. Hotels.com was very helpful to us because of construction around the hotel we booked. We were able to contact hotels.com by phone and they looked up and helped us find the Homewoods suites. We wish that we could have spent our three nights there. "Great Location in the Queen Anne"
Very friendly staff, beautiful views...though we were on floor 1 so ... :( The location is really cool, I would probably want to stay at the other Homewood Suites in the Capital District next time we go, but the Queen Anne area was cool (that's where the EMP, Space Needle, Monorail, Science Center and Children's Museum are). "Homewood suites always delivers"
We stayed at Homewood suites for a San Diego vacation, so decided to stay with them again for a quick trip to Seattle. Having a separate bedroom is really great for kids. The service is excellent. Front desk is quick to help you in anyway they can. Crib was clean and new. They even offered a grocery service, although we didn't need it. With my young […] children, I will continue to stay at Homewood suites whenever we travel. By the way, this location was roomier and furnishings were newer than the one in San Diego. Booked hotel room and when we arrived we were delayed 25 minutes past check in time because of poor hotel staff communication. First was told that we didn't have a reservation. Sink faucet leaked and bedroom door didn't shut. Staff doesn't see to care when complaints were made and only liked to give excuses about shift turn over. "Be careful where you park!"
The hotel is great. Very clean, nicely decorated, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I received a $43 parking ticket after parking in the neighboring lot for 5 minutes during check in. The 1st driveway after you pass the hotel seems like the logical place to pull in. I was very frustrated that I did not have the opportunity to move my […] car after the front desk clerk told me that was not their parking. There is NOT ANY signage at the driveway stating it is not hotel parking. The parking fee sign is in the opposite corner of the lot, not even next to a driveway. "Perfection, but for the heater!"
The staff was extremely hospitable! The room had a wonderful view, was very well kept, and was more then expected in every way (with high expectations). Parking under the building was _wonderful_! The location could not have been more perfect for our jaunt around the city on foot. I could continue, but in short _every_ aspect of the stay was wonderful; […] except the heater was on and off all night, every 5 minutes, the room was still cold, the heater blew directly over the bed which very badly dried out our eyes and sinuses, and there is no thermostat in the room. "Not quite Downtown"
The hotel is approx 8 blocks (40 mins walk) from Pike St Market, so its not quite downtown location. I believe the other Homewood Suite in Seattle should have the downtown name. They are much closer. Having said that it is about 10 mins walk from Space Needle. So very convenient for the attractions within that area. Excellent location to cruise terminal. […] 5 mins by car. Hotel taxi charge $5 per person, so you can see how close it is. Bearing in mind you wont be able to carry your baggage and walk the distance. Lees meer
"Homewood Suites Seattle Downtown - lovely"
From a warm check-in, to our very comfy 2 bedroom suite, to the simple but varied and tasty breakfast provided, this place was a hit. I was surprised at how attractive the hotel was (I was expecting much more basic for the price), and the staff were exemplary - friendly, helpful and not a trace of officiousness. We walked to Pike Place Markets (maybe […] a 2 km walk?), and to the Space Needle (around 1/2 km) and surrounds, and took the monorail into the city shopping area. Highly recommended. Lees meer
