Hampton Inn Boston - Marlborough in Marlborough

I was happily surprised at our stay here. I am disappointed that the "star" rating is a 2 1/2 - 3 star. The price was very reasonable and the facility and staff were great. I give it a 4 - 5 star rating!! Would stay again in a heartbeat if I need a room within a 50 mile radius.

Will return when there aren't hockey playoffs

hotel was good but hotels.com made a mistake by selling me a king room instead of the two doubles i asked for. hotel was completly full so could not be corrected. also still a $50 charge on my credit card for who know what 4 days latter. not happy with hotels.com.

This is not our first experience at a Hampton Inn. My husband had a very good impression at a Hampton Inn in Butte, Montana, where he stayed for 6 months; he was on a job assignment and I also stayed there for 2 weeks. The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was much more than i would expect for complimentary. However the rooms were very small, and there were no dressers or drawer space. So everthing was cramped because the suit cases were out. And you couldn't unpack.

i ended up leaving at 3 am mattress lumpy pillows just horrid. hot tub had strange odor. tub in room had black stuff in jets. overall horrible night.

Pro: VERY helpful and attentive staff, clean, comfortable room, well appointed. Breakfast buffet was great. Always had fresh coffee available. Con: We had a roll-away bed and either the bed was too wide or there was not enough space allowed for the bed, but it was a struggle put down for the night, and fold up in the morning.

Sad to say, I will not recommend this hotel to others. While the hotel does what it can, the facility is heavily used by young hockey players and their parents, taking advantage of the nearby skating rinks. When the parents/coaches are away from the rooms, the kids are running wild throughout the hallways, banging on doors etc. I did ask security to […] attend to the noise, and someone did respond. The room and service at the Hampton Inn Hotel was very good. However, we were awakened at 7 a.m. on Monday morning because of a workman blowing leaves and debris on the adjecent parking lot. As we had a first floor room facing this parking lot, it was very noisy and impossible to ignore.

Worst night's "sleep" EVER in a hotel. I believe that they totally forgot to add any sound baffling insulation between rooms. Neighbors chit-chatting until 2:00AM sounded like they were in our room. The 4:00AM delivery of room invoices was incredibly noisy - the echo in the hallway was way too loud. The other neighbor brought a valet cart into their […] room at 6:00AM - the racket (of the wheels on the tile floors) was unacceptable. I don't stay in hotels for the breakfast, or the heated pool, or the well equipped gym. I stay in them to get a good night's sleep!!!! This hotel failed miserably! Lees meer

Overall the hotel served our purpose very well. Everything was perfect, just as we expected. Not a critical issue; but during the night, the back screen of the TV fell off and the noise startled us. We called the front desk and they investigated. They found nothing amiss. We enjoyed our stay!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a wedding since this is where the entire wedding party and guests were staying. It's a pretty decent hotel for what you pay for. We ended up making two separate reservations because we weren't anticipating staying more than one night and though the hotel was completely booked, they let us stay in one room for the entire […] duration of our stay. Lots of great details (blinds insteasd of curtains, a cotton bedspread instead of polyester, built in desk and wood paneling) all make this hotel better than the average chain. Free popcorn all day, plus a really great breakfast buffet also contributed to an overall excellent two night stay. Highly recommend!

The staff were wonderful and curtious. There was a large group of young adults in the hotel and you didn't even know it. The staff had everything under control. The only concern, they mentioned that the room would fit 4 adults comfortably and this is not so. The pull out sofa was smaller than a twin size and when pulled out you were unalbe to get out […] of the bed. But i would still recommend in fact other family members stayed else where and it sounded like we stayed at the best place. I love Hampton Inns. It is my #1 choice for lodging when traveling. This particular Hampton Inn was older, somewhat dated, but yet nice.

We look forward to staying here when visiting my cousin. We also enjoy the convenience and varitey of the breakfast items. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

I truly would stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety and the computer room was a definate plus. The front desk staff was excellent - very professional and accomodating. The only negative comment I have is that the cleaning crew was pretty noisy in the morning (continuous door slamming […] each time they enter/exit rooms). Lees meer

Everything was to our liking, except need more gluten free foods choices. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, free coffee at all times. Pool was great.

In all my years of traveling abroad and in the U.S. this was truly one of the most pleasurable experiences I have had. The staff at the hotel was extreme.y courteous, gracious and professional at all times. The entire facility was well maintained. It was clean and bright and had a very welcoming atmosphere. this hotel was very clean and in a great location. you could walk to many restaurants and easy access to highway.

This Hampton Inn was great. The Continental Breakfast awesome...it can't be beat. For the price, the stay is comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful. My only complaints were that it was a little noisy as there were many kids staying there, but hotel has 24 hr security and the noise was definitely monitored. The TV for some reason was fuzzy ...reception […] wasn't good...if i was spending a lot of time in my room i would've brought to the attention of management.. OVERALL the stay was great. To me, the most important feature of a hotel stay is cleanliness and if they offer a continental breakfast, its gotta be with variety. It meant my expectations. Lees meer

We stayed there last weekend for 2 nights and found the Hotel very well run and convenient. Close to a strip mall and very good restaurants helped to make this experience enjoyable. 30 minutes away from downtown Boston at very reasonable pricing compare to harbour hotels....worth to consider. The hotel was extremely clean - had a good sized indoor pool and hot tub and nice exercise room with new equipment. The morning breakfast was good and they made sure it was completely stocked all the way up to 10a.m. The hotel was full and they did a great job taking care of everyone.
