Econo Lodge Somers Point in Somers Point

A clean/comfortable room, wifi and a hot shower is all I need and the Econo Lodge provided that. I needed a late checkout and the hotel was very accommodating. Thank you, I will stay here again.

The hotel is a bit run down, but well-run. The overnight manager was very nice/friendly, though check-in took longer than I expected. The room was clean, but nothing special. The beds were comfortable, but I didn't like the pillows. The cable TV is nicer than in most places, with a normal Comcast Cable remote. 2 miles from ocean city beach and 10 from ACs casinos.. Not at all bad rooms and eateries nearby.. Hotel staff is quite helpful., Completely value for money.

The room was clean and it had what was needed for my stay.very close to the boardwalk so that made it so much better.onlything that got me a little mad was the vending machine getting stuck and hotel not refunding my money

not as close to the boardwalk as i wouldve liked. but for the price it wasnt bad and the guys at the front desk were very nice

We were in the area for a family gathering and needed an inexpensive place to stay close by. It was clean and comfortable, and for the off-season (March) price we paid, you can't beat that with a stick!

Stayed for a quick overnight visit to somers point. Price was right, room was clean and the staff was friendly. Pefect for what I needed.

The place was fine - could have had better pillows. Was as clean most places,nice size fridge, microwave, parking, pleasant service (not that we asked for much), and My Bff and I had nice winter weekend !

Great location, confort, clean for the price.

but the wake up call for 5 am I placed with the desk never came. Thankfully I had set the alarm on my cell phone. Also, most motels that I've stayed in provide small tubes of toothpaste for guests that have forgotten theirs...none was available...but I guess that shouldn't be expected in an Econo-Lodge.

Everything about the hotel was low end economy. The breakfast was bare necessarties to call it a breakfast. Not even a regular coffee machine.

Room wasn't very clean. Dead bugs on window base, dirty washcloth left in bathroom, pillows as thin as ever! Did take care of noisy people in the middle of the night. Close to ocean city. Very loud air conditioner kept me up the whole night. Continental breakfast was four bagels some juice and muffins. Rooms pretty clean but very small. OK if you need somewhere to rest for the night but that's all.

For a fraction of the price of a hotel in Ocean City, the Econo Lodge Sommers Point served it's purpose. It was a home base for our trips back and forth from Ocean City. The rooms are very dated and could use a remodel. There was nothing wrong with our room but I wouldn't want to have a long stay there. The management staff was very friendly and the […] outdoor pool was very nice despite being right next to the road. I would recommend tall shrubs be planted along the road to screen the pool and cut down on the noise. There was a smell of fuel/ asphalt from the road ever present at the pool and in the back there was a faint smell of sewage. The location of the hotel is very convenient to Ocean City and the Point Diner is right across the street. Make sure to get breakfast there at least once! Had a good nights rest. Some noise from adjoining rooms (Party?) but overall not bad. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Overall a nice place albeit a bit pricey for an Econolodge.

nice ,clean close to ocean city

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean. The hotel was just a short drive to the beach and boardwalk. I will stay there again.

The shower head made a loud squeeking noise when it ran for so long. The bed was hard as a rock,my boyfriend couldn't sleep alll through the night.

Very nice hotel. Very accommodating considering we made last minute arrangements and needed a room for one night. Room and accommodations were nice. Hotel staff was very nice. Great pool for the kids. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was nervous when we pulled up because this appears to be a very old hotel and the lot surrounding the property was rather messy. There was only one person at the front desk answering phones and checking people in and it seemed a bit chaotic. However when we checked in, the room was impeccably clean and very quiet considering the parking lot was full. The motel was pretty much as we expected, simple and clean. There was trash left in the bathroom trash can, like a wrapper left there from something, There was a wet ring left from a can or bottle on the desk, but other than that the room was very clean and in good condition. No luxury suite but just what we needed. The location was excellent.

I have never had any problems with EconoLodge and this one was just as good. The room was extremely clean, especially the bathroom. The pool was nice and it was only maybe a 10 min drive into Ocean City.

We thought this motel, the Econo Lodge in Somers Point, was fine! The construction in the street has moved on down the road, and the motel was easy to find. The room, the sheets, the rug were all very clean. The bathroom was very clean with no signs of mold or mildew. The shower worked well with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There was […] even a window in the bathroom looking out to a private grassy area, which was a treat. We had a non-smoking room, and there was no smoke smell. The beds were comfortable. Yes, they were firm, but not too much so. We like firm. The TV worked great, and the channels were described in a room placard, something some places don’t do. There was a coffeemaker that made good coffee in the room . The air conditioner worked well, and there was an extra pillow and an iron and ironing board, and good hair dryer. The microwave and refrigerator both worked well, also. The pool looked good, clean and neat, with nice lounge chairs, and the people in it were enjoying themselves. The ice machine was easily accessible outside and had plenty of ice. The continental buffet for breakfast was good, and had enough of everything: apple and orange juice, coffee, regular and decaffeinated, sugar and powdered creamer, tea and hot chocolate, bagels and English muffins, butter, jelly, and cream cheese packets. There were tops for the coffee cups so you could take them back to your room safely if you didn’t want to eat at the tables. Local newspapers were available to read. Hotel was ok for the money. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Continental breakfast was limited. Had to wait for the maids to have their breakfast before my family could eat. Overall, It was better then having to pay for the expensive rooms n OCNJ

the location was great and the room very clean,bed comfortable and pool area very good.It's unfortunate the city was excavating and resurfacing the main road out in front on the holiday weekend but who knew. There were some repairs that could have been addressed and proper maintenance could improve the over all appearance but all in all the stay was […] a pleasant one for the price. Lees meer

Unfortunately, spent most of the weekend in the hospital in Atlantic City. However, while at the hotel it was okay. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. The room was comfortable enough but did have a stale smoke smell to it despite requesting a non-smoking room. Construction on the road out front made it difficult to locate driveway in and roadways, […] but I also understand this is temporary and has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Will never ever stay here again.

It was a good place for the rate. A very nice location to get away from everything.

Hotel is only 2 miles from the beach which is a plus but I would not want to stay there for more then a few days. Rooms were clean but normally stay in a bigger place when staying for a extended period of time.

Does not look anything like the pictures. The room was neat ,however the linens were stained and there was a very strong odor from the carpet. We slept on top of the sheets with our clothes on!

for the price the place was a suprisingly good. i have been to this place once and it was in the winter. actually new years eve. when i got back to the place at around 3am alll was quiet and i sleeped well. so for the first stay i was suprised and satisfied. ill be going back again in a 2 week time in the winter again. will do a follow up......

If you are looking to save money, this motel is a reasonable option. We stayed on a Saturday night rather than pay big bucks for a place in Atlantic City (~25-30 minute drive). The room was fine, the linens were clean, and the basic accommodations were all there. That said, don't expect too much above the basics: the continental breakfast consisted […] of two bagels and one muffin (although we didn't get there until it was essentially over), and our room wasn't in range of the free Wifi. But overall, it served the purpose of being a cheap alternative to the big resorts in Atlantic City, and my wallet thanks me for that. Lees meer

Would definitely reccomend this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the room for the price. Booked the room on a low budget and was more than happy with it. The parking lot looked recently repaved & painted. Room was very clean and had microwave and refirgerator along with comfortable beds. Not noisy at all. Also very safe area. The manager was very accommodating, even offering to turn the heater on the pool if we wanted to swim, and when we went to get ice, he told us the ice machine was broken and gave us some from his personal quarters. Overall, the motel was about as I expected. Perhaps a little more than I expected at the price. Would stay there again.
