Uitstekend hotel. Ziet er nieuw en goed onderhouden uit. Zeer ruime en schone kamer. Mooie en schone badkamer met goede badhanddoeken. Mooi beddengoed en een goed bed. Ontbijtfaciliteiten ruim voldoende. Helaas diende één serveerster de volledige servicetaak op zich te nemen; dat ging goed maar wat gehaast tijdens het top-halfuur waarin alle tafelf […] bezet waren. prima hotel in het centrum van alle bedrijvigheid ,aardig personeel ,volledig ontbijt a 10 dollar en alleen koud ontbijt a 6 dollar in hotel mogelijk,parkeren aan overkant van hotel a 16,80 dollar ,oubolligheid of vergane glorie is niet hetgeen me bijgebleven is, ik vond het prima.

The hotel looks newly made-over. The staff is very accommodating. Seemingly many rooms were not ready for 3pm check in and I had to wait 1 hour till they had a room ready. To make-up for this inconvenience they extended my parking for the day which was good. The pictures of this hotel are great. It's newly renovated, however the parking is across the street and the deck's elevator closes at 7pm. If you have heavy or a lot of luggage or any health issues, good luck! You can try to drop it off at the hotel first but only 2 cars fit in their turnaround and you have to keep it clear b/c it's Lso a one way street...needless […] to say, I looped several times. Then my room was across from the open air restaurant and the open lobby where the tv ran 24/7. Construction surrounded this hotel and people were screaming at all hours. The hotel has good "bones": high ceilings, wide corridors, large rooms and expansive public areas/lobby. Renovation has been very well done, with modern contemporary furniture. Clean, modern room and bathroom. Although spacious, the bathroom had only a shower, no tub. The parking costs $18 plus tax if you want to park in the building across the street. A bit pricey, but the parking building is very secure.

The hotel has wide corridors, high ceilings and a spacious lobby; all renovated to a modern, contemporary look. Room was large, well equipped, quiet. The toilet in the bathroom had not been cleaned when we got in to our room. When we asked to switch to another room, they immediately took care of providing us with a properly cleaned room and also gave us vouchers for complimentary breakfast. Problem was well handled.

The hotel bills itself as newly remodeled and updated with all the latest technology. The room was very nicely furnished, but not all the "technology" was up to par. We got a complimentary DVD rental but were unable to make the DVD player. The thermostat didn't seem to work very well, and the in-room safe malfunctioned.

My son attends a local university and this hotel is perfectly located in the vicinity of all the restaurants, stores, shops, etc. in New Haven, and just a short walk to the campus. The hotel is upscale (I give it 5 stars) and the spacious lobby is beautifully decorated with local art and photography. Check-in was very pleasant, professional and efficient. […] Our room was spacious & well-equipped for the business traveler and immaculately maintained. I loved the room layout: the door didn't open directly into the room but rather a small alcove/hallway that led into the bedroom so there's a good buffer to any noise outside the room. The bedding & pillows were some of the most comfortable and luxurious we've enjoyed (we travel extensively to fine hotels in US and abroad.) We enjoyed a great shower-massage with strong water pressure and fine bath products. The towels were luxurious and fluffy! Overall, the experience was wonderful -after a long day of travel we enjoyed a luxurious night's sleep and a very good breakfast buffet the next morning. A room with a king-sized bed was very large, comfortable, and clean, with extra-wide safe, plenty of hookups for acomputer and other electronic gear, desk, couch, refrigerator, etc, at a reasonable price. The first room they gave me was on the 7th floor right under the roof-top airconditioning units - what a racket! They immediately changed me to another […] when I complained, It was much better but the heating/cooling systems are on the noisy side, though generally steady, "white" noise. Still, my stay was very pleasant, staff helpful. Neighborhood isn't beautiful but seems to be reasonably safe. Great place for visiting the Yale-New Haven Hospital or the Yale School of Medicine. We found the New Haven Hotel to be clean, comfortable and convenient. The gym was great and nice to have coffee in the lobby. Too bad about no paper available for purchase (US News is not a newspaper). I would stay at this hotel again.

I found the hotel very comfortable, Great bed, nice large flatscreen TV. The room was very clean and the location was great.. We had our stay between 2 hotels on this trip. The other hotel we stayed at was the Omni. To be honest I liked this place more.

I was a bit skeptical at first staying here, but the hotel is wonderful. The staff is outstanding. Parking convenient, though a bit pricey. Hotel has no room service or restaurant inside except for breakfast, but everyone delivers right to the room. The staff was outstanding. For the price (or even more) I would highly recommend it.

good, free i-net access. tastefully re-dec'd. parking is expensive, but cheaper parking may be available if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks. Some mechanical noise in rooms. Not untypical. Great value for in-town New Haven.

Perfectly good hotel. Plenty of availability. Convenient parking. Late check out at 1pm, which helped us. Easy walking distance from Yale. Had to ask for some toiletries that are normally provided, but they rushed them up to us anyway. No room service, but plenty of restaurants nearby.

We just need a place to crash in New Haven for one night, I live within 30 minutes away but didn't want to drive. The hotel was great. Super clean, very comfortable bed, great location and very reasonable. I'll be going back there.

Once you get past the desolate block the NHH is located on (but only 2-3 blocks from Yale between the campus and the hospital), the hotel itself is, overall, a pleasant surprise and a bargain. Efficient check-in and well designed modern rooms with very comfortable beds and well appointed baths. The room heat would not work on a properly I call for room but that was'nt to helpful.

Enjoyed our stay. Very nice renovation and lobby was very comfortable. Great location to restaurants and walk to Yale. Always give extra kudos for courtesy coffee service in Lobby before 6am.

The hotel is exactly what I was looking for: comfortable bed, clean room, attractive lobby, professional staff. To be fair, it is located a bit on the outskirts of downtown -- but New Haven isn't that big, so nothing's a far walk. A good place for a good price.

We enjoyed our stay, were treated excellent and found the hotel to be in a great spot. FYI parking was $15 per day.

This hotel is comfortable and close to Yale. Walking back at night, it's about 1 block farther from occupied streets than I'd like it to be. My main complaint is that I arrived after 5 and my room was not immediately ready for check in. The cleaning staff was still working on a number of rooms. And on the second day of my stay cleaning staff did not […] show up until after 4:30. I do not know why they are running so late--either staff is not scheduled for the appropriate time or they don't have enough cleaning staff. Lees meer

Hotel was in the perfect location to access the city but parking was a bit inconvenient.

This is a nice Hotel whether it is the cleanness or convenience wise. we just enjoyed our stay.

The beds were comfortable, the hotel was clean and it was convenient to Yale New Haven Hospital. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was excellent. I read the reviews on the surrounding hotels and this on was highly rated.

The hotel is centerally located which is fantastic. There was a soccer game and alot of reservations were checking in and the girls were extremely slow. Knowing that was going to happen they should have had more than two receptionists..When I finally got to check in and go to my room my hotel room was incorrect and walk into the wrong room with someone […] coming out of the shower. ectremely embarassing for both parties. Then had to go back downstairs and wait again in line. I was late for my dinner reservations whicn was a surprise party for my girlfriend and people waiting. It wasnt a great start of my weekend. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others. Bed quality/comfort is my main concern and ours was great. Free wi-fi and giant flatscreen TV with digital cable, if you care about that. I would recommend requesting a room not on the 2nd floor if you are not planning to be up and about before 7am. It was very, very noisy til two in the morning because of music from a disco!!? It was impossible to sleep!!

My husband and I enjoyed a romantic getaway at this downtown hotel. It was great. The staff was excellent and the location and parking were great. We can't wait to do it again. We loved it.
