the staff was friendly and the airport shuttle was great.

I enjoyed it.

Overall, I thought this hotel was great quality for the low cost. The rooms and hotel facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was also friendly. The only issue was that I had reserved and paid for 3 king bed rooms and upon arrival was given 3 rooms with two double beds. Have stayed there many times always a good expierence. The only concern we had this time was the pool was a lot colder then ever before but not so much we couldnt use it. and the hot tub was really really foamy. but we were still able to use both, so we would stay again. This is our only hotel choice when we are in the area.

The hotel room was to small, the maintenance was not very good, the service was ok, By the end of the day the hotel conditions are similar to the price.

Stay was great for the money. The pool and hot tub was nice but the pool water could have been warmer for an indoor pool. Will stay here again if we are up that direction.

Overall, it was OK, but the place needed some dusting and vacuuming. Elevator kept breaking down. They "reset" it but it clearly needed attention. Crud on the floor 3rd floor hallway was there for 2 days -- needed a good vacuuming. Furniture in room needed dusting around the base -- not god attention to detail. Sheets and towels were clean.

Really Nice place to stay. Room was so big. Bed was confortable. Extra Pillows Friendly service and no problem getting directions to Indiapolis Speedway. Breakfast was nice but their was no make your own waffles like the baymont in Springfield, IL.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was nice but slow. Hot tub jets didn't work and not very hot. Breakfast could have included yogurt.

used this hotel before don't remember it being this bad. pool ice cold, hot tub not much warmer then bathtub water, tv didn't come in very clear plus HBO channel didn't work. had to ask for coffee for 2nd morning maid didn't give any when she cleaned room.

This isn't the Talbot or the Drake in Chicago, but that is not in any way shape or form a criticism. This hotel gave me a good, clean room in good repair, good friendly service, and the area is right off of I-70 and full of other hotels and a nice selection of decent restaurants plus fast food places, so the area was convenient, clean, and felt safe. […] I would stay at the hotel again, and I do recommend it to friends and family without reservation. You could see through the floor of rm 210, there was suspect substance on the curtains of rm 210. There was pubic hair in the tub in rm 211, the TV remote was sticky (really sticky). The refrigerator was super sticky so much so that it really made you wonder how clean the rest of the room was. I usually stay at the Plainfield Baymont because of proximity to Indianapolis airport and family. The quality has slipped a bit recently. The hot tub was merely lukewarm and the jets did not work. My shower was a better place to relax muscles. It still is clean, friendly, and has a handy location.

the only complaint we had was the fire alarm going off early in the morning. Was a false alarm :)

First couple rooms we tried smelled like smoke even though they were converted to non-smoking. Staff was very friendly, gave us an upgrade because of the inconvenience.

The room was nice. Clean environment. One issue was the lack of high speed internet service as advertised. Although, they indicated that they were getting things rewired and it should be available in the next week or so. The second issue was the electrical outlets in the room were damaged and one was only partially functional.

Decent breakfast, super close to interstate, shopping, and dining. Room was always very clean on return each night.

For the price, I expected a decent place to get some rest before continuing on a road trip. The people working at the desk were very helpful and made the check-in process simple. The room was very clean, and much larger than expected with a nice sitting area on one half, and a mini kitchenette. There was also a nice complimentary breakfast with all […] of the essentials including some hot options (eggs, sausage, waffles, etc.). We didn't stay long enough to know if it was close to anything (stores, restaurants, etc.) but it was right off the highway and convenient for what we needed. Would definitely stay there again! Our experience was horrible. They had a pool, but decided to close it on a Friday to clean it on Saturday, so our family was not able to use it, (they should have closed it during the week when they have fewer guests). We would have appreciated a call to let us know the pool was closed and the option to cancel our reservation. When we stepped in the […] shower, the bathtub was very unstable and we thought we were going to fall through the tub into the room below us. Finally, when we went to check out, there was no one at the desk. When the woman finally returned, she didn't know how to check us out and we had to wait for someone else who did know how on the computer. Everything at this location was good for the price except two things: the hot breakfast is served cold. Example: the biscuits and pancakes are brought from a box in the back and put straight on the serving counter. #2. When I asked two of the staff a question, they were able to properly respond due to language barrier.

I am a local resident of Plainfield, so therefore the Baymont is familar to me. I stayed there because the air conditioner was out of service at my house. I chose the Baymont because it had suites to offer and a pool. Upon arriving I was informed that the a/c was out, but in the process of being fixed. I was never told at check in that the pool was […] closed by the local health dept. I was not offered a discount for the inconviences. The room it's self was comfortable. I booked online and was shown a picture that was not the first room I was put in, however bringing it to the young man that evening he put me in a room that I viewed online. He was a very polite helpful young man. Upon waking up the next day I brewed coffee in the coffee urn provided, only to discover nothing to drink it out of. No cups any where. I told the day clerk all of this upon checking out, all he said was I write it down for her? I said will there be a discount or possible free stay? he said I don't know, if she decides to you'll see it on your card. There were a few glitches (comforter shredded on corner, dripping faucet, etc), but I felt the room was very clean. Was kinda excited after reading someone's review of a hard mattress -- unfortunately for me, mine was soft and I woke up with a sore back. The staff was friendly and helpful. chose here because it was pet friendly. thats not true. note posted on door stating multiple complaints about dog. when i asked i was rudely told i should tell them next time i had a pet! i was holding the dog when i checked in! staff was very noticeably absent from desk most of time, door didnt close correctly, half roll of toilet paper in bathroom, […] no ashtray and even though we reserved smoking room we were put in nonsmoking one. ran out of food for buffet but did not refill. maid made nasty remark about well have fun with that room, (because of our dog}. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. We had nasty dirty bed clothes and it took 3 times to get clean ones. We had to make our beds our selves. The man working the front desk was rude. The pool was extremely dirty. At midnight the smoke alarm went off and they tried to tell us it was from a shower on the first floor. Negatives: The hotel cleaning staff has a fondness for Pine scented cleaners, which cover up the musty smell of the rooms. There was also no Internet service (tried to connect two laptops, neither successfully) and no staff at the Front Desk to answer my calls to try to correct the situation. Positive: Breakfast was OK

Hotel room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff at the front desk were hard to find - they spent most of their time outside in the parking lot it seemed and didin't answer the phone when needed.

It's a very safe neighborhood/town (I used to live and work there). The bed was a little hard for me but my husband seemed to like it, that's really my only complaint.

When we checked in we were given a room that was in the middle of being cleaned with the old bedding still on the beds. We stood with our luggage for about 15 minutes in the hallway waiting for that to be straightened out only to be given yet another room that was not finished being cleaned. We stood inside the room while it was finished being cleaned. […] It was clean and got the job done, but it was not nice. I would not stay again or recommend it to anyone. Lees meer

In the evening, I found an empty 12 pack of beer bottles in the stand alone closet. I f you opened one door, you could not see it. In the morning when I checked out, the night person did not leave a message that the room wasn't cleaned properly. I would recommend this hotel. I stayed two nights for business that was conducted at another hotel 5 minutes away that cost 3 times the price of this room. Hotel was clean, staff was accommodating, hotel felt secure. Gets my vote and I will stay here again.

A nice place to stay to catch a flight the next morning.

needs to be updated .....breakfast area needed to be cleaned during breakfast hrs... stains on floor in bathroom just a place we stopped .....would pick a differant hotel next time

Hotel has a convenient location and price. Water was very hot in shower in the morning which was great. Breakfast layout was not impressive.
