Hotel is zeer gunstig gelegen downtown in Robson Street. Inrichting van de kamer is wat sober ,maar de kamer is zeer ruim en allen op een hoek gelegen met balkon. Roken is in het hotel niet toegestaan. Goed restaurant en halte van Hop on Hop off bus voor de deur. Parkeergarage onder het hotel en geldautomaat naast het hotel op hoek Bute street.

Heel mooi hotel voor redelijke prijs. Het voelt gewoon goed aan. Alleen jammer dat het uitzicht (ook van de bovenste, 14e verdieping) beperkt wordt door een nieuw gebouw, dat er tegenaan geplaatst is.

De kamers zijn voorzien van enkel glas. Zelfs op de hoogste verdieping, de 15de hadden we last van het geluid van het verkeer. De ligging is echter perfect om Vancouver wandelend te ontdekken. Gezellig in het centrum.

De beoordeling is gebaseerd op het verblijf in het hotel en wat niet mee genomen is de kwaliteit en service in het restaurant, het ontbijt is slecht in onze ogen we hebben al in vele landen en hotels geweest maar dit slaat alles, een keer gegeten, geen tip gegeven , de rest van de dagen ergens anders gegeten . Eind conclusie heel goed hotel maar je moet er niet gaan eten.
Ligging.
Coast Surrey Guildford Hotel ligt in het hart van Surrey. dit hotel is een gezinsvriendelijke accommodatie in de buurt van Guilford Town Centre. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Red Robinson Show Theatre.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Coast Surrey Guildford Hotel heeft een buitenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar, terwijl de accommodatie over een werkstation beschikt. Dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang, vergaderruimtes en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Gasten krijgen elke ochtend een gratis ontbijt. Bij Coast Surrey Guildford Hotel zijn kamers met airconditioning voorzien van onder andere een gratis krant en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke 37-inch flatscreen televisie heeft kanalen via kabel/satelliet en betaalfilms. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau en een telefoon met gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Elke badkamer is voorzien van een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Elke kamer heeft een magnetron en een koelkast. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een klokradio. Bovendien wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

Great rooms, clean, excellent service, delicious breakfast that surpassed my expectations. Overall an outstanding experience worth far more $$ than it actually cost!

Front staff were very good. Hotel needs some maintenance - paint and upkeep would help. Room was comfortable but the bathroom was not that clean. Bathroom door had gross stuff on it and not much attention to detail. The bed was clean and comfortable though. Would I stay here again? Probably not.
Our stay there for three nights was very eventful for us both as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The only really bad comment we have is that you Television receptions and channels are very bad. We are not interested in paying for TV as we not in the room long enough to watch the whole show. Excellent value with hotels.ca discount. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room for the cost. Super comfy bed and the wifi was such a plus for me. Also, getting to the hotel from the Horseshoe Bay ferry couldn't have been easier and it was in rush-hour traffic! Complimentary breakfast was varied, fresh and tasty.

This is the second time I have stayed here and both times I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast excellent. What more could one ask for? I will be staying here again.

"Coast Surrey - Good comfort at Great Price"
Clean rooms, good breakfast included in price that was 40% less than Downtown Vancouver hotels. The 30 minute drive was the cost to pay for low cost and great comfort. The hotel staff was friendly.

"comfortable and clean"
All the regular rooms were booked - we were sold a suite for a really good price! It was beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. I would love it if I could land this deal everytime we go to Surrey. Thank you!

"Improved immensly after the remodel"
I have stayed here in the past and was not happy with the overall service ad/or the rooms. Since the new remodel it has really improved, the service was good and the room was very nice. Only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy.
"CLEAN, QUIET, COMFORTABLE"
Hotel was clean and quiet. I had a great room at the front of the hotel on the third floor. Nice rounded, vaulted ceiling added depth and spaciousness to the room. Room was modern and service at the hotel was good. I have already booked my next stay there.

we stayed just one night and travelled on transit to get there. The bus stopped right outside the hotel so it couldnt be more convenient. The room was very clean and had an attractive decor and was in a very quiet location. We slept really well in our room backing onto a green space. The hotel was convenient to guildford mall. "Great hotel for a good price"
Great hotel, would defiantley come back again for the price, only downside was the air conditioning wasn't working in the room so it felt very humid.
"Poor wireless on 2nd floor"
we had trouble connecting on the wireless access point. We would get a signal and then it would be lost. A few times the signal stayed, but only at 1 bar. When we were able to connect we would lose it a few moments later. I mentioned this to the front desk but all I got was a shrug.

hotel Ramada Inn Guildford had poor customer service personnel at night. They did not show any welcome or explain services. business center has no printer. poor quality wireless internet.
"Good deal, clean rooms"
Lady at front desk was not very nice. She did not pay attention to us when we came in and we have to wait for her a few minutes while she finish with some her papers. She even did not tell us something like "I'll be shortly with you". At the same time people in other shift were nice and well-responsive. Overall the hotel is clean, not crowded. This was actually great and a lot better than I expected for the price I paid. Iocation is ok, off the highway, but it is far from central Vancouver
"Great Time"
Rooms were better then expected. Very clean and comfortable beds. We had a flat screen LCD 42' TV and 2 air conditioners, small fridge with microwave. Our 2 queen beds were seperated with a wall so the privacy was really nice, since i was sharing a room with my older brother. Friendly staff and you get a free newspaper every morning. The restaurant […] next door was not very good. Horrible service and the prices were way to high.Ramada Hotel is close to everything, even the skytrain is only blocks away. "Very good room for its price"
I was (pleasantly) surprised with the quality of comfort. Why I liked 1) 2 Queen beds 2) REALLY High speed internet 3) Daily room cleaning 4) Spacious room 5) Proximity to the mall (for food etc) 6) Good value for the stay (paid 62-65 USD per night). Why others may dislike 1) If you don't have car then visitng Vancouver downtown could be a pain. "Odor"
There was a distinct stringent odor in this hotel. Both in the hallway and in our room. Rooms were comfortable enough but there were no headboards on the beds in our room. The staff was exceptional. "Like Sleeping in an Ashtray"
The room we rented, like the one our friends rented, smelled like smoke. The smoke was so bad that our clothes and suitcases picked up the smell, which we could smell days after leaving the hotel. Not a big deal, I guess, if you're a smoker.

Great quality for a quiet hotel with a comfortable bed. 2 negatives, free wireless didn't work the hotel address is on a street that is 1/2 a block long and hard for my GPS to find. It actually fronts on 104th
