Hoewel entree en galerijen waaraan de kamers liggen er sober uitzien, zijn de kamers , schoon en ruim. Ligging goed tov. eetgelegenheden en vlak bij het centrale station met treinen en bussen. Misschien zou de info van het hotel mbt het openbaar vervoer wat actiever kunnen. Service verder goed.

Het is een prima hotel. Bij aankomst bleken ze echter een verkeerde kamer te hebben (met één kingsizebed, terwijl met twee queensize bedden was gereserveerd).schuld werd bij Hotel.com neergelegd. Op de reservering stond het goed! Één nacht een andere kamer gehad, werd weinig moeite gedaan om de fout goed te maken, de slaapbank op deze kamer moesten we zelf gereedmaken, terwijl zij aangaven dat ze het zouden klaarzetten. Later nog iemand uit gezelschap van kamer veranderd omdat de wc niet functioneerde, dit ging wel heel soepel.

Keurige moderne ruime kamers, met meest opvallend de heerlijk slapende bedden. Ideaal voor de zakenreiziger, prima internet en goede kofiemachine op kamer, met uitgebreid businesscenter beneden, en direct aan de snelwegen in alle richtigingen. Voor ontspanning kun je terecht in het goede indoor zwembad en een wandeling in de prachtige watergardens. Vlakbij snelweg kruising en spoorweg, hoewel het gebouw dat geluid redelijk goed afschermd. +/- 15min lopen naar hart van downtown
Ligging.
Howard Johnson Express Arlington bevindt zich in Arlington, dicht bij Congrescentrum van Arlington, Cowboys Stadium en Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. In de buurt liggen ook Six Flags over Texas en Hurricane Harbor.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Howard Johnson Express Arlington heeft een fitnesscentrum en een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad. In openbare ruimtes wordt een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) aangeboden. Gasten krijgen elke ochtend een gratis ontbijt. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, gratis kranten in de lobby en een lift. Parkeren op locatie is gratis.
Hotelkamers.
Bij Howard Johnson Express Arlington zijn kamers met airconditioning voorzien van onder andere een kluis en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Gasten hebben een gratis draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via de kabel.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een föhn en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een koelkast en een magnetron.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten worden aangerekend. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

"Outstanding stay"
Outstanding visit.... bed was awesome...bathroom very clean...excellent rate....breakfast could be better. Will stay there again in the future.

had a room with odd number ALL odd numbers are about 20 yards from I30 so lots of noise all night. even number are quiet rooms other than that cant fault it, you even get free transport to rangers ballpark

Not the greatest hotel but walking distance to the Ballpark! There are also 2 resturants across the parking lot.

"Hotel nice for nice"
Hotel very nice and clean and close to Six Flags. Kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. We had a good time and felt pretty safe. The staff was very nice and helpful. I will stay again. Thanks
"not the best, not the worst"
Room was very big and had a nice balcony and a flat screen tv, its located very close to the stadiums and Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor and lots of great restaurants. Breakfast was very basic, employees were nice. The room did not have a shower curtain or a working phone. It also looked like there was a space for a microwave and fridge, but there wasn't […] either in the room. Bathroom was tiny with no counter space and didn't feel clean, probably because it looked like the marble on the counter and in the shower was wet from underneath maybe? It was darker around the sink and in some spots in the shower. The hair dryer was not powerful at all, bring your own....and the room didn't feel as cool as it should have been with the thermostat turned down low. Lees meer
"Right hotel for the venues"
Located within a few blocks of Cowboy's stadium, Texas Rangers stadium, Six Flags and a huge water park, UT Arlington. Lots of good restaurants very close. Great service, clean and comfortable room. We'll be back!!

the staff were courtious and it was clean and convienient but the hotel itself is old and rundown
"WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN"
I will not recommend this hotel for many reasons. The A/C did not keep the room cool even though it was not that hot outside. We had a group of people check in and stay in the room above us. There must have been 10 or more of them in 1 room. They were very noisy till very late. I called the front desk twice & nothing ever happened. I even threatened […] to call the police but they didnt care. The most unacceptable reason is because the pool was closed ON SPRING BREAK. Really? There were other posts about the pool being closed but I thought for sure it would have been open by then. When we spoke with the front desk the morning we checked out we reminded them of everything that was wrong and again...they didnt care. They offer a shuttle service but so do all of the other hotels in the area. I see no reason for anyone to want to stay at this unprofessional, uncaring, loud, hot hotel. Lees meer
GOOD BUDGET HOTEL FOR THE PRICE
"Howard Johnson Express not so friendly staff"
I stayed at this hotel for three nights and it wasn't so good. The front desk staff was not very friendly and courteous. The continental breakfast was okay, if you cater to lack of nutritious food. The "fitness center" needs a major upgrade. Only one piece of equipment worked. The only good thing was the price and location.

The hotel is close to Six Flags. The staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was decent. The hotel is also the first stop of the local Arlington trolley for both to and from Six Flags. I would definitely come here if I am on a budget. Good stuff.

I was presently surprised. I grew up in Arlington, so know this hotel has been there awhile. I was skeptical of the remodeling, but turned out differently than expected. Could have done a better job with bathroom, same old tub with some wear & some cracks in the walls, but overall, good updating. Bed was comfortable, new carpeting & furniture. "Better Than Expected"
I am in Arlington once or twice a year for certain events at the Convention Center. I have stayed at some of the other surrounding hotels for nearly twice the nightly rate. I will now be a return customer to Howard Johnson. It is better than you would expect for the rates and is close to everything that is needed. Was a couple blocks to Convention Center and Six Flags. Only a few blocks more to cowboy stadium and the Ball Park. On the Border and Texas Land and Cattle next door. Rooms were nice and updated. The hotel is directly in front of the Ballpark in Arlington, Cowboys Stadium and Six Flags so very convenient. The morning and day staff were excellent and were very helpful. We had a nice stay other than our nonsmoking room had pillows and a comforter that smelled like smoke. I would have given an excellent. However there was not hot water at 8:00 am and the other guest in the hotel were very loud running up and down the halls till after minight on third floor.

This hotel was clean, convenient and well maintained. The staff could not have been more accommodating! The security was impressive! I would recommend it a hundred times over especially over pricier hotels.

"Nice for the price"
Don't expect 5 star quality from a 2 star hotel, but for a 2 start hotel, this ranks among the best value we've stayed at. Quiet, clean, close to major attractions, can't go wrong.
"MOST TERRIFYING STAY EVER"
I looked up a there was a bee. This little thing was ready to sting. I called for help, and they sprayed some type of irriate in the room where I could not breath and we have been sick since. I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. These people should give me all my monies back for such a horrible visit. Upon not having anywhere else to go […] since all the hotels were full and they could not even put me in another room, I would never go there again. Perfect location for anyone who is going to six flags or ever the metroplex in general. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The only negative is that contential breakfast area is very limited seating, and the TV only has four channels and they are blurry!??!
