Clean, and affordable.

The price of the hotel was outstanding. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. This hotel is nestled inbetween other hotels so I think it is often missed. A thumbs up for this Jacksonville hotel.

we were very unfamiliar with the area we stayed and the staff was very helpful and considerate with our needs. the room was very homey and we slept peacefully. Cant ask for much more. the staff was there for whatever we needed. I would recomend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable stay. Thank you!!!!

Stayed 2 nights. Front Office staff very friendly and helpful (ALL of them). Room was clean and was as pictured. I know a lot of folks are concerned these days and so for the record they did not have bedbugs. The Hotel photo on Hotels.com is how the hotel looked inside and out as well. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable & had the choice of 3 […] pillow types which really surprised me. Small fridge, Microwave, Hair dryer, WiFi, and TV all worked as expected. The Air conditioner unit was new and was one of the quietest I have had in a room so far, so much so that I hardly noticed when it came on. Breakfast was good and even had the make it yourself waffle machine with Mrs. Buttersworth syrup which surprised me since so many places use the cheapest (Kayo) syrup they can find. The only negatives were that this is a 2 story and there is not an elevator and so if one is needed be aware to ask for first floor room. Second small item would be that while they have light blocking curtains (which are white) they do not have actual dark curtains that pull completely over the windows to make it deep dark ( a little light still gets in and if you're used to complete dark then it might be an irritant). I've traveled a lot since I am in Sales and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Location was excellent because I needed to be near the base. The hotel was sold out both nights I was there (Tuesday & Wednesday). The Hotel is also very convenient to the major shopping area and many good restaurants which include the normal fast food chains and also a Cracker Barrel as well. I felt safe and welcomed. Hotel is located very close to my client's location. Lots of restaurants and shops close by as well. The room was clean and comfortable and water pressure in the shower was great!

I had a great stay in this hotel, when you walk in you can tell right away it was newly rennovated. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull, from comming out of town they helped me find locations that were fun to go to. I would stay there again and reccomend others to stay therebas well. It was very clean and comfortable!

The hotel was convenient for my needs. However, there was no iron or ironing board available in the room. I should not have had to go to the front desk for these important items. Also, maid service should not assume items in plastic bags are all trash. Some of my personal items were mistakenly thrown out. I was very displeased with this.

When we arrived, it was very late. The woman at the front desk greeted us very pleasantly. I asked for a different bed, if available. She changed our room very quickly and we were on our way. She was very helpful with directions too. An overall nice experience. She was very professional.

Nice place to stay while visiting son in the Marine.

The service was great. It is a very clean budget hotel with a limited breakfast, but the property is very well taken care of and the service was great. I got a great price but was not looking forward to the stay based on other reviews. The rooms have been re-hab'd and the carpet is new so things were fresh and pleasing for a budget hotel. The hotel was nice and newly remodeled. It was quiet. My husband said it was the nicest Super 8 that he had ever stayed at.

Nice staff, great location (near every kind of store u can think of), would stay again ...

My room was very clean, the staff was excellent. They were very helpful, polite, and always had a smile on their face. Even though the hotel was near a busy highway, there were no traffic noises to interrupt my sleep. Overall a nice hotel at a decent price. Renovations are obvious and pleasant. Will not stay there again as they have a "no pet" policy.

Close to the base. Everything was great but beds were hard to sleep on. Great service and breakfast bar including hot waffles. Had grandson with us to see his dad come back from Afghansitan and they were so good to him. Would definitely use again.

The put me in a room with a broken lock. So once I got into the room I was unable to get out. I called the front desk and the associate told me she had to move me and then hung up. She did not even tell me she was going to come rescue me and it took her about 10 minutes for someone to come get me. The air didnt work that great in the room. I felt like […] it was an inconvenience to ask for another pillow considering the king bed only had 2 standard pillows on it. It was very cramped in the room. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The desk chair had a wheel broken so it wasn't usable and I was charged more than the reservation on hotels.com but Overall it was a wonderful stay and I'm already looking into another reservation.

We chose this hotel for the price and the closeness to Lejeune. The hotel clerk was wonderful even when she was having computer problems. We have stayed here before and have no complaints. We will probably stay here again if we can't get a room at the hotel on base.

Free WiFi service was non-existent, had to get a wired receiver from front desk which only 1 person could plug into at a time. The hotel put a hold on my debit card for more then the amount of the room to assure payment of room, then when they attempted to bill me for the room I was unable to pay because of the hold put on my account. So plan on having […] more then double the amount of money needed to pay for 1 night. Then I was met w/ hostilty from the hotel staff. Not my idea of great customer service. Lees meer

They could vacuum the floor more often. And they could at least check if the coffee maker is clean and if the guest has coffee to use for the next morning.

I would not recommend this hotel because: 1. I did not like the way the room was laid out and 2. The room seemed very dark . The room was clean, but I did not like the arrangement. For me, the bed was too far from the a/c unit and I did not sleep well. I felt like the air in the room was stuffy. Unless I turned the a/c unit up full blast on cold I […] could not get comfortable and if I turned to sleep on my right side, I felt like I could not get any air at all. The air vents can't be adjusted and when I accidentally pulled out the air filters, they were pretty dirty (maybe that is why the room smelled like it did). The bed was firm, which did not bother me the first night, but the second night, I did have some difficulty getting comfortable. The room also seemed cramped. The microwave and coffee maker were stacked on top of the refrigerator in a corner next to the window. The parking lot is a little narrow. Finally, the room seemed dark There was a wall lamp next to the bed and a desk lamp on the other side of the room, but neither one of them gave off much light. I was upset to see that I was charged for having a safe in my room, which I did not even use. I spent an extra $30 approximately due to all the taxes and fee for the safe. The hotel staff was friendly and it was convenient to where I was going and also next to a Walmart and several restaurants, so those were a couple of positives about this place. It also appears to be an older hotel and I did not notice an elevator anywhere. If someone is able to deal with the above mentioned items, then you will really like the hotel, but for me it is not somewhere I would choose to stay. I would pay a little more for a nice place. Oh, and due to the rate I received, I did not get an iron/ironing board neither did I get a continental breafast. Lees meer

We stayed several days and can say that the beds were very comfortable which is very important to my wife and I. The hotel was being revamped, but posed no problem for us. The price for the room was very reasonable and the staff was very accommodating. The continental breakfast was just so so and could be improved.

We enjoyed our stay, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Very close to the base made our visit with our son enjoyable. will stay here agian.

close to Camp LeJeune clean--breakfast ok comfortable friendly convenient only thing that could have been better is if the pool was open thank you for your rates--with gas prices so high--it helped alot.

room was nice, rates were totally outrageous. for what the hotel had the rates seemed high. all we really used it for was to shower and relax. we would have stayed more night but it was even pricey for the week. everything else was ok, it was a hotel, so i guess we got just the room as advertised.

The location is not bad for driving back and forth to camp lejeune . Hotel staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean.

We only picked this hotel because nowhere else had vacancy. The worst part about the stay was 1 light switch controlled all the power to the room. Example if you wanted to watch TV, flip the switch and the TV would come on along with all the lights, needed the alarm clock, flip the switch and the TV would come on along with all the lights. This hotel was great! We had no problems getiing to camp lejeune to see our son! the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly! I would stay here again!

The location was very convenient - within a couple minutes of any shopping or restaurants you could possibly want. It is just a few minutes from Camp Lejeune, which was our final destination on our visit. The hotel itself is very basic - they are in the process of remodeling, which is good because it is in need of some upgrades. The room was small, […] but clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room had 2 queen beds, tv, fridge and microwave. It had everything we needed for the time we were in the room. Our biggest complaint was the internet service - there was free wireless internet, but the connection was very slow and unreliable. There was also a lack of parking - on more than one occasion we had to park in the lot of one of the hotels next door because there was not any available in our lot. As for the breakfast, it was basic - cold cereal, danishes, juice, coffee and a waffle maker. I wouldn't expect much more based on the hotel and what we paid to stay, but I was hoping for some fresh fruit. All in all, the hotel provided the basics we needed while in town. Lees meer

Upon checking into hotel 1st impression was oh no. Was doing some renovating of front desk area and was a little cluttered. After going into room i felt a little better.
