Novotel London Waterloo in Londen

Prima hotel, verrassend goed restaurant, goed gesorteerd ontbijtbuffet en op loop afstand van de Big Ben, Parliament House en The London Eye (reuzenrad). Aanrader dus!

Fijn hotel met mooie kamers, goede bediening en service, een prima restaurant met vriendelijke bediening. Kamer prima ingericht met heerlijke bedden. Gratis koffie en thee. Te weinig TV kanalen maar daarvoor ben je niet in London. Big Ben ligt op loopafstand en dus zit je eigenlijk in het centrum. De route vanaf het metrostation (Lambeth Nord) is echter […] niet super. Dit hotel is zeer goed gelegen op (romantische) wandelafstand van London Eye en Big Ben ( wij hadden vanuit de kamer zelf zicht op de topjes van deze twee monumenten). De Tube (Lambeth North) is op 10 minuutjes stappen. Vanuit Victoria Station is er zelfs een bus (lijn 507) die recht voor het hotel stopt. De kamer was netjes en ruim. Hotel is good from the point of view that it is just a short walk to Westminster Abbey, Parliament, the London Eye, the aquarium and Waterloo station. The area is good but from what we could see there wasn't any cafes or restaurants in the area so if you are not eating in the hotel be prepared to walk. That said the hotel food was good, but the waiting […] time from ordering to getting the meal was unacceptable (in one instance 50 minutes). The breakfast buffet was what you would expect in any hotel, and is worth adding to your booking online as it costs roughly £16 if you have not prepaid. The room was clean and adequate for the stay. I was staying because of a conference held in the hotel. The conference facilities were excellent, as were the staff. The hotel room was big, easy to catch up with some work in it, and still space to relax. really good location for everything. Walking distance to the London Eye and Lambeth North tube station, Imperial War Museum down the road and some great pubs with food this place should be on the list of place to stay in London that is close to the must see areas but away from the tourists.

It i expected a hotel who try to gine a immage of being a business hotel to have free intenet connection. Here it wa very expencive

Lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend. Would prefer if it was closer to an underground station.

A very nice hotel, a short walk from the Parliament. When we arrived at Paddington with the Heathrow Express we took a taxi to the hotel (£20). Don't know if the driver ment to, but we passed several major sites, such as Hyde Park, Buckingham and the Parliament on the way. Nice start on our stay. The room was nice, and we had space to acctually walk […] past each other. Only downside was almost nowere to put our clothes (locker, cabinet, etc.). And it's too long to walk from West End, if you like to walk home in the evening. Woud definately consider another stay. Lees meer

This Hotel had the most comfortable beds I have every slept on.

Great hotel, excellent staff. Only gripe is that the maids come to clean your room at 830am! I can appreciate that many guests are there on business and are probably up, but we were not. Perhaps you can roll that back to 10 or something?

Stayed four nights at this hotel. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable as you would expect from a city Novotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and the breakfast included in the cost was a buffet and very substantial and well stocked even towatds the end of service This also included veggie options as well. The Novotel London Waterloo was clean. Has been upgrded but needs new carpet. Bus stop outside door. Close to Buckingham Palace. No facility for leaving suitcase at hotel.

we have just had a fantastic 3 day stay in london. We would recommend the novotel lambeth as a great place to stay, it is just around the corner from the embankment of the thames, lovely to walk on with views of westminster and big ben opposite the river and the london eye a stones throw away along the embankment. it is approx 15-20 mins walk into trafalger […] square where everything is on tap, bus tours etc and tickets for any attractions. The hotel is clean and modern with very helpful staff. The room was ample room for 2 adults and our 6ft 15 yr old, he was in a sofa bed which was comfortable for him and his size, our double bed was comfortable too. the air con was great and a welcome addition as the weather was 30 degrees during our stay. overall a clean, modern, comfortable, welcoming hotel, which was awesome for the money we paid, would recommend it to anyone and we will definately be back!! double bed was very comfortable BUT we have a 13 year old and the fold out bed was absolute rubish, you could feel the springs in the matress and it was very thin, we asked at reception if they could change it , they said it would be sorted but when we returned to our room the following night nothing had been done. So if you are traveling as a single […] or happy couple i would recommend this hotel But if you will need to use the bed settee i would not recommend this hotel Lees meer

Well-managed tourist hotel, slightly larger and cleaner than your average.

We booked this hotel at the last minute and were very happy. Everything was clean, service good. Location was excellent for all things touristy except for eating out. Walk to Westminster, close to tourist buses and the eye. Costs for the wifi were exhorbitant but we found free wifi at a pub nearby.

I stayed here for one night with my sister.We checked in early on the Saturday (~1pm) and they were able to give us a quiet room.Staff were really friendly and helpful.Room was a good size with a comfy bed (my sister's very fussy about beds and even she thought it was good!).Shower was powerful and the bathroom was very clean.The loo was separate to […] the rest of the bathroom.The hairdryer was good too so no need to bring your own.The only thing I'd mention is that we were in a room that was connected to next door's room by a locked door; we could hear the people next door in the morning.Not all rooms are like this, so if you stay here, perhaps just mention you don't want an adjoining room.Location was great (we stayed there because we were going to Brixton Academy); walking distance from tube, and a ~£13 cab fare to Brixton.We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.Would definitely recommend this hotel. I found this hotel brilliant! The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was lovely, I stayed in a room at the front of the hotel there was a main road running by but i could not hear a thing,obviously if you open the window you could hear the traffic. Breakfast was good make sure you include it with your room because it is quite expensive […] if you buy it seperate The tube was only a 5 minute walk. If you liked walking westminster is close by about a 10 minute walk. Taxi to the westend was £15 and the same again for oxford st, can be expensive if you dont like the tube. Lees meer

Novotel London Waterloo was a breath of fresh air after Paris. Loved the decor, ambiance and service were excellent. The weather was cold and dreary most days, so coming "home" to our hotel was delightful every day of our stay.

The hotel was friendly clean and comfortable except bed was bit too firm for e and as always found the room too hot and no means of cooling efficiently as window opening restricted and no air con installed in my room, although there was in the other room I booked for my son. It was very convenient for the things we had to do while in London. Cannot […] comment on food as did not eat in hotel. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful at all times Lees meer

Our experience was acceptable. The hotel was clean and the staff very responsive and professional. My only negative comment is that if you are doing a lot of walking to the typical tourist sites, it is a bit off the path.

I enjoyed a 1 night stay in this hotel whilst visiting friends in London. The hotel is in a good location about 15 minutes walk from Waterloo, although actually closer to Lambeth North. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the room was far too hot, with no real means of cooling it myself save for opening […] the window, which proved far too noisy. La valutazione è assolutamente positiva, anche il prezzo è decisamente proporzionato al servizio offerto, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è eccellente. La colazione a buffet è molto varia e abbondante, anche il ristorante non è affatto male, certo non è la cucina italiana, ma questo lo do per scontato. Unico neo forse il servizio un po' lento quando il ristorante […] è affollato. Il personale è cortese e disponibile, almeno tre degli impiegati (due alla reception, una al ristorante) sono italiani. L'hotel et les chambres sont très propres, le ménage est fait chaque midi et nous avons à disposition du thé. Le personnel est agréable et multilingue. L'emplacement est idéal, à 10minutes à pied du quartier de westminter (big ben, le parlement, london eye, westminster abbey). Notre chambre était côté cour pas une vue degagée mais au calme. Pas mal […] de services à disposition dans l'hotel type bar, restaurant, sauna...Seule petit bémol un peu loin des stations de métro mais taxi et arrêt de bus en bas de l'hotel. Lees meer

kinderfreundlich, an der Rezeption sehr freundliche Menschen, Zimmer war erstaunlich ruhig, wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen!!!!

Dejligt hotel med høj standard, venligt og imødekommende personale, god "engelsk og continental" morgenmad, skøn central og praktisk beliggenhed lige ned til Themsen med 10 min gåtur til Westminister Abbey og Big Ben. Bus nr. 3 udenfor døren til centrum bl.a. Oxford Street og 2 subwaystationer 10 min fra hotellet. Eneste minus er at et hotel af denne […] klasse bør tilbyde gratis WiFi, som ellers kostede 9£ i døgnet ! Jeg loggede derfor på nettet på cafeerne i byen. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på Novotel Waterloo. Bra läge, hög kvalite och mycket prisvärt.

Hotellet ligger ganske sentralt. Bussen stopper nesten rett utenfor døren, så er enkelt å komme seg til plasser. Fint og rolig hotell, med veldig service-innstilte ansatte. Og veldig god te !

Mycket trevligt lagom stort hotell i ett bra läge 10 minuters promenad från Big Ben. Personalen på hotellet var mycket vänlig och serviceinriktat.

Vi var helt nöjda med Novotel Rummets standard var utmärkt och personalen var mycket trevlig. Det låg en busshållsplats alldeles utanför hotellet och det var gångavstånd till tunnelbanan. Strax intill kunde man promenera längs Themsen. Rekomenderas å det varmaste.

Reint, hyggelig og trivelig hotell, med genial nærhet via buss til sentrum og øvrige deler av London.
