Het Casa de la Condesa is in vele opzichten een prima hotel. Vooruitgeboekt heeft het een goede prijs/kwaliteit, de kamers (vooral de aan de voorzijde gelegen mastersuites met balkon) zijn ruim en comfortabel, het personeel is zeer aardig en behulpzaam en de locatie is aan het 'groene' plein - zeker 's ochtends - uitstekend met z'n terassen voor koffie en Mexicaans ontbijt. Er zijn echter ook wat minpunten en zaken te verbeteren. Wat betreft de fysieke toegankelijkheid voor mindervaliden (met rolstoel; iets waarop wij het hotel hadden geselecteerd) kan ik simpel zeggen: dikke onvoldoende! Entree van het hotel vanaf het trottoir bestaat uit 3 treden en een onbruikbare hellingbaan (te steil, te smal en geblokkeerd door plantenbak). De lift is te klein voor een normale rolstoel, dus beensteunen moeten er elke keer af. Het restaurant is niet bereikbaar in rolstoel want gangetje is te smal en er is een flinke opstap. De badkamer is niet toegankelijk met rolstoel (iets wat was voorzien) maar is tevens zeer krap. Het personeel maakt hierbij veel goed: ze waren ondersteunend bij het in en uit de rolstoel moeten en brachten het ontbijt op de kamer - zonder kosten. Het ontbijt was overigens zeer eenvoudig voor Mexicaanse begrippen (jus, toast/jam en vers fruit). Grootste ongenoegen zou kunnen zijn dat in de kamers aan de achterzijde (wij hadden daar eerst een kamer maar vanwege een voortdurend verstopt toillet zijn we verhuisd) de geluidsoverlast van de bar beneden behoorlijk is. Maar ja, het is wel Mexico-stad en Roma Norte is een uitgaanswijk. Slotconclusie is dat dit hotel in een stad als Mexico-stad een goede uitvalsbasis biedt met een redelijke tot goede waar voor je geld.

Prima hotel op schitterende locatie, aan de Reforma, vlak bij het Alameda park. Aardige staf.Uitstekend ontbijt buffet met echte Mexicaanse specialiteiten. Ruime kamers, keurig in orde. Er komt op de hoge etages wel eens weinig water uit de douche maar dat is in Mexico city niet ongewoon. Voor wie met open ramen slaapt is het verkeer op de Reforma wat rumoerig. Kwaliteit/prijs is zeer goed.

Ik had specifiek een tweepersoonsbed gereserveerd, maar bij aankomst bleek ik een kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden te krijgen. Ik heb moeten praten als Brugman om te krijgen wat ik wilde. Geen goed begin. Toen het gelukt was alles OK.

Hotel Imperial is aan te raden: erg mooi, gastvrij, mooie locatie, netjes en prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed.
Ligging.
Camino Real Polanco Mexico ligt in Polanco in Mexico-Stad. dit hotel is een gezinsvriendelijke accommodatie in de buurt van Museum Rufino Tamayo, Parque Zoológico de Chapultepec en Jardin Botanico. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Museum van moderne kunst en Nationaal Antropologiemuseum.

Camino Real Polanco Mexico heeft een healthclub en een buitenzwembad. Tegen betaling van een toeslag kan je in openbare ruimtes gebruikmaken van een snelle inernetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel), terwijl de accommodatie over een werkstation beschikt. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 4 sterren zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een secretariaat. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 7 restaurants plus een koffietentje/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, evenementencatering en bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen regelen. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail.Bij betaling van een toeslag kan een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) worden aangeboden. Alle bedden hebben een donzen dekbed en luxe beddengoed. Elke badkamer is voorzien van douches, een weegschaal en make-up-/scheerspiegels. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een haardroger en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals massagebehandelingen op de kamer en een telefonische wekdienst. My third stay in the Camino Real family. Very attentive staff. Great rooms, food, restroom. Super clean.

The first thing that will hit you when you walk in this place is it's like an art gallery, don't think I've ever stayed in a place like this before. The entrance in massive and lots to look at. Rooms are good, some signs or wear and tear, but nothing to be concerned about. Pool is great, and a real bonus in the city. It's heated and great to chill […] out in all day. Breakfast is good, but not the cheapest. Restaurants in the hotel are good, there's a few to choose from, but ask the staff for directions as they are all over the hotel. Very slow service at check-in. I had to call 30 times to get Internet access. You can never get an answer at the front desk with less than 5 calls. Had a leak inside the closet that got 2 of my slacks wet. Even on the 5th floor, I can't sleep at night hearing the noise on the street.

This used to be the hotel to stay at in MC. Unlike it's competition that is built vertically this hotel spreads out horizontally on a prime bit of real estate. "Terrible Experience at Camino Real"
Arrived after midnight, there was no hot water, my friend got bumped out of the hotel and the front desk would not let him into my room unless I paid $1,000 pesos more (I had a double room). Terrible experience.

I was very disturbed when I arrived at the hotel to find the front desk trying you up charge me an extra $90.00 for my stay. This extra was for internet usage three breakfasts and a room with a balcony. I explained to the gentleman I was there on business and that I needed a clean room and was doing breakfast with clients each day. After an hour, he […] finally realized I just wanted my room which was paid ahead of time. The Bell man brought my luggage to my room but forgot to leave me the key to the room. This was a very nice hotel. The staff was pleasant and being an English speaker was usually able to find someone able to answer my questions. The restaurants were good and the first evening my husband and I spent most of the day in after being tired after a long trip. There was easy access to the shopping areas and sightseeing by taxis. "Good hotel, not happy with taxi service"
Good hotel, nice and spacious room - just ask for one close to the elevator if you don't want to walk for a mile. Also, the taxi service from the hotel charges more than the regular taxis in the city.

Very Pleasant stay. I was in town for 3 days on business. The service was great. The food was very good though a little expensive. My room faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet which is all you can ask for in this town…

The service is excellent and they are all very kind. The check-in was fast and they let us do an earlier check-in. The room was very clean and well decorated. The hotel is very big and has many restaurants. Many options. It has an excellent location in the city, close to business center and tourism attractions. They have a business center, gym, all […] the facilities for a modern hotel. The only thing I did not like was the view from my room to another building, but I guess you can ask for another aisle of the hotel. :) The decoration is very nice combining Mexican Culture with modern style, I love Maria Bonita Restaurant, you can not miss it! We had a very good stay at this Camino Real, and walked from there to the Antara Polanco shopping center. The hotel isn't close to any subway stations, but we walked anyway. The hotel provides special tourist taxis that cost more than others, but seem worth it (we used a couple). The hotel has a number of restaurants that we didn't try, but the Cambalache […] Argentine restaurant not far away at Masaryk and Arquimedes was so good we went two nights in a row. The hotel it self has some nice dining places, however I was very disappointed in the fact that they charge you and extra $50.00 in addition to your rate in order to be able to have Unlimited Wi-Fi Internet access and continental breakfast.There is also a separate charge for parking. i really don't like the idea that I'm paying an X amount of money […] for a room and then on top of that I have to pay for the internet and parking. The hotel remains one of Mexico City's great hotels. The only facility I found lacking were the choices available on the hotel's cable tv system. The biggest omission was the absence of a top business oriented channel such as Bloomberg TV, for example.

It is an old hotel that is very well maintained. Not in a walking part of the city. Small rooms but very clean and comfortable. The sheets are like sleeping between thin cardboard. They need to improve the linens. Also, no bathrobe, which is a nice amenity.

Really wonderful hotel. Not the best location if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing around the city, but very comfortable if you are looking for a beautiful spot to relax (in a fabulous city!!).

Camino Real Polanco is in easy walking distance of the Tamayo, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Anthropology,all in the part of Chapultepec closest to Av. Reforma with its easy access to the rest of the city. The pool is very nice; the restaurants are good, if occasionally pricey (watch out for a "cover" charge in Bistro Bici that is noted […] on the menu in tiny, tiny print). Wireless is good, but you must pay for the password, even in public areas. I also note that Camino Real not only survived the '85 earthquake unscathed; it also served as a refuge for travelers who lost their hotels. It is very safe, and security is very good. Lees meer
