Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.
Ligging.
Fitzpatrick Grand Central ligt in het centrum van New York, op loopafstand van Chrysler Building en Station Grand Central Terminal. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Rockefeller Center en Hoofdkwartier van de Verenigde Naties.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. In alle openbare ruimtes is draadloos internet beschikbaar (tegen betaling). De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 3,5 sterren zijn onder andere een limousine- of autoservice en audiovisuele apparatuur. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, evenementencatering en bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een wasserij en gratis kranten in de foyer. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De algehele renovatie van deze accommodatie is in juni 2011 voltooid.

Fitzpatrick Grand Central heeft 155 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van kluisjes in de kamer (ook geschikt voor laptops) en een kluisje op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel en een videogameconsole. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail.Elke kamer is voorzien van een draadloze internetverbinding. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met luxe beddengoed. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, kamerjassen, make-up-/scheerspiegels en een haardroger. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast wordt 's avonds een turndownservice geboden en is een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar. In Fitzpatrick Grand Central mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

We were there for 2 nights, in a very comfortable room. This is a small-scale hotel in excellent proximity to Grand Central and all of Midtown, on a rare quiet side street. "Charmingly quaint"
Lovely stay - clean, cozy and extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff. Room well appointed and perfectly clean. the only draw back was that it was small and tucked back in a corner with very little light or view. Would love to try again and look for a better room on a higher floor.
I found the decor depressing and the breakfast room ugly; the food was not good and overpriced.

We were just thrilled with our stay at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central. Great location (if you're looking for midtown), nice service, clean room, super comfy bed, bigger room than expected. Seriously, not a single complaint. Highly recommended.
This hotel is convenient to Grand Central, yet quiet. The room and the bathroom were commodious and very well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay there again
"Affordable, But Poor Service"
My room serviced breakfast (made with powdered eggs) arrived cold, and with no silverware. The front desk staff is indifferent at best, distracted at the worst. Choose this hotel based on price alone.

"Delighted"
With "no vacancy" at the Yale Club, my search took me to hotels.com. The Fitzpatrick was a delight. The location was perfect being on the Lexington Ave side of Grand Central Station. The service, comfort, and atmosphere were excellent.
Very friendly helpful staff, good bar food, comfortable room, very convenient location.

Like nearly every hotel I go to, a problem with the HVAC at first, but it was fixed quickly. Some outside noise from bldg system vent near my particular room, but not bad, most people would not notice ( I am very sensitive to noise). "My son and I at NYC for the Big East Tournament"
the weather was beautiful, we were able to walk to the Garden from the Hotel, everyone was helpful , we were given an upgrade immediately too help make our stay more comfortable. Very convenient location across from Grand Central Station, walking distance to Rockefeller Plaza, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Empire State Building, Times Square. "Love This Hotel"
This is a great local hotel close to everything. We take the train to NYC so it's great to be so close to Grand Central Station. This is my second time staying at this hotel and we typically don't have to wait for our room even if we arrive early. I have stayed at many NYC hotels and this is one of the best for the value.

They charge a hefty fee per night per device for WiFi - Isn't this 2012? Rooms are pretty small - yes I know this is NY and that's the norm, just making sure you know the rooms are small. TV is a flat-screen about the same size as a monitor I had 5 years ago - weak Front desk service is nice but not very helpful - I couldn't get their WiFi to work […] (due to problems on their end) and asked the front desk to look into it and they never got back to me with a resolution. I had to track them down. Cleanliness and upkeep of the bathroom in the lobby was disgusting. Adjacent bar is cool and location is great. Stayed @ the Fitzpatrick Grand Central for a 2 night stay on a weekend...great small hotel that was affordable and close to everything...hotel staff was very courteous and helpful...room was nice, bathroom was nice, really no major complaints at all...the irish pub downstairs was nice also, had an irish coffee there one afternoon and breakfast there […] our last day which was good...only negatives were, one of the elevators was not in service and one of the phones in our room and the little small coffee maker in our room didn't work...which didn't really matter as there was a great french bistro for coffee and pastries 2 or 3 doors down...all in all, a comfortable stay, affordable for a weekend and would def recommend...esp good for theater goers, really short cab ride to the theater to see Lion King, and probably could walk if it wasn't so cold! Stayed 6 nights at Fitzpatricks Grand Central - arrived at 1pm after long flight and it was so good to be able to check in right away - reception staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming- room was spacious with extremely comfortable bed, very clean and we apprecieted the evening visit of house keeping with bottled water and chocolates. Our laptop […] fitted in the safe and nice touch to have an umbrella in the room for the one wet day we had. Only thing missing was a small room fridge - otherwise it was perfect. Comfortable lobby with newspapers and fireplace. Location fantastic - entrance to grand central station just up the street. One of the best hotels that I have every stayed in. It is about half a block from grand central and numerous restaurants and shops. If you're looking for food at any hour there is a pizza place a block away that is 24 hours and cheap. The room was a great size for being in Manhattan and decent price a night. We didn't have a room with a view, but didn't even matter because the room was great. Before you book another room somewhere else, call these guys up and book with them.
