Een ideale lokatie om alle bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken. Een Hotel met een illustere historie, zelfs een prins van Savoie heeft hier gewoond. Prachtige plafondschilderingen in de ontbijtzaal! The hotel has a good central location. It is a collection of old buildings joined together and it is full of character. The public areas have period furniture and the dining room has a painted vaulted ceiling. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Our room had a balcony with great views over the rooftops of Florence. The room and bathroom was spacious […] though the bed was a bit firm and the water pressure from the shower in the morning a bit weak. Breakfast was good , typical continental bread meat cheese, cereals etc. all fresh and wholesome. At peak times the breakfast room did get crowded but other time it was a pleasant place to be. The hotel was clean and very centrally located, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The Room was facing the street, which was very nice, but was very loud all night. If you are looking for a quiet night's sleep DO NOT ASK FOR A STREET VIEW. The bathroom is ok, but the blow drying system was like" blowing n the wind!" The hotel was in an ideal location in Florence, never more than a few minute walk to the places we wanted to see. And the winter rate was a bargain. I would have liked to have a deadbolt on the door for safety reasons, but the building is several hundred years old, so some things are not as up to date as they would be in a more modern building. Very much near to Florence Termini. Very hard to find, its located in a small street. Hotel did look like same as hotels.com picture but it was like crap doors, worst service, bath room is not clean. you can hear next room noise. bed always makes some noise. Lift is waste for that hotel, which is built in a way stops middle of the 1-2 floor. so you […] need to carry luggage in steps. Rooms are very small. Only advantage to this place is nearest to the train, site attractions. No Internet only paid internet. Staffs do speak English. I loved this hotel. I have been to Florence before, so I knew the area I wanted to stay in. This hotel is very near the Duomo and central to EVERYTHING in Florence, 1 minute to Duomo, 10 minute walk to see Michaelangelo's "David", 10 minutes the other way to Uffizi or Ponte Vechio, so much to do and see and all close to this hotel. Our room, 114, was […] very large with 2 queen beds, large bathroom and big window with view to street. High ceilings and great architecture throughout this hotel gem. The front office speaks great English so no worries there. Breakfast each morning was included and great too, included cereals, yogurt, excellent pastries, coffee, cappacinos, lattes, salami, ham, cheese, croissants, juices, fruit, etc. I would absolutely return to this hotel. We asked for recommendation for dinner and their recommendation became on of our favorite restaurants in Florence and located about 5 minutes from hotel. I loved this hotel. You can hear the church bells every morning! Great location. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. When I come back to Italy I would definately stay at this hotel again.

The Hotel building is really nice, with a huge nice staircase. However the rooms are old, not very clean (although I couldn't say it was dirty) and overall old and not well maintained. The room was really cold and the heating noisy and useless. The reception service was ok although almost rude. The Hotel staff was very nice. Our room was clean, although everything (the beds, the sheets, the amenities) seemed very old. There were holes in the sheets, but I will take that any day over bed bugs (which there were NOT any). We left our luggage before we checked in, but it is poorly guarded. Anyone could walk in and I doubt anyone would notice. […] Nothing happened to our things, but it was a gamble on our part. We were given an extra bed in our room that we didn't pay for. We didn't know this though and had problems understanding what door locks our room. It is kind of noisy at night with the street noise, but not too bad. The breakfast, which came with the room, was big and really good! We were thoroughly pleased with that. located at the central of firenze and it's extremely good for those who would like to take train travel to near by tuscany cities, abt 5 minutes walk to railway station and duomo. breakfast is good, staff are helpful.

Location is excellent for most of Florence. Lots of good restaurants near by. The entire property has not been updated in quite sometime, but acceptable. Our real only real complaint was with the front desk staff. We realized that the average person on the street was much more helpful than the staff. The hotel is located within walking distance to everyting there is to se in Florence. The hotel is a bit old and not very up to date on comfort, but that did not make a difference for us. No english speaking TV channels but good wireless internett connection on the room.

The Hotel Paris is conveniently located near the train station and the Santa Maria Novella neighborhood. The location is ideal for exploring Florence's may wonderful sights and the hotel staff is friendly and accomodating. They will make museum reservations for you, so you don't have to worry about doing it before your trip. We booked this on the basis of reasonably good reviews on this website. All I can say is that it seems many people expectations are not very high. Undoubtedly the location is perfect - minutes walking to Duomo. But the rooms are very tired and the staff seem a bit indifferent. The first room allocated was dark and cramped with a rickety stairs to […] the room upstairs and the third "bed" (it was a triple) was a sofa next to the door downstairs. We asked to change the room and the front desk attitude was definitey unfriendly. The new room was much nicer and roomier, although I still think the hotel overall and room decor, in particular, looked tired and overdue for renovation. Charming hotel, with all what you need around you. Shopping, museums, restaurants all wrapped around this jewel hotel. Our family agreed! we shall return.

We loved the location of the Hotel Paris but the carpet in our room was old, sticky, and gross. I felt dirty staying in our room. My parents stayed in the next room and the cigarette smell was awful. The hotel staff were very helpful and accomodating of our family's needs. The location was within walking distance to the major sights in Florence. The breakfast was great!

As far as location, this hotel cannot be beat. We were within walking distance of the Duomo and all the sights and museums. The lobby is charming and the staff friendly and breakfast is served in a charming room of this converted palace(s) and offered typical European options - sweet rolls, bread, ham, yogurt ++. The room was very large and looked exactly […] like the picture shown on this site, but it was supposed to be non-smoking and it smelled like someone spent a week in that room doing nothing BUT smoking. It is important to note that we did not mention the smoking room to management to give them the option of giving us a different room. We were travel weary and opted to stick it out hoping the air conditioning would help. It did not. It was very warm during our stay and the AC could not cool the room sufficiently with it's exceptionally high ceilings. We booked a triple and were pleased that our daughter did not have to endure a pull-out couch, but rather got a twin bed. The room smelled,the air conditioning was not working,the staff was not very friendly,the rooms were not properly cleaned. We left early to go sight seeing and when we came back to our hotel, our room was cleaned by the maid service. But later that afternoon when we returned from lunch our room key was not available. We spent one night here because we had added an extra day to our Paris stay and had already checked out of the hotel where we stayed originally. We wanted a hotel close to the Catacombs because that was the last thing on our agenda before heading to South France. The hotel staff were helpful for the most part, but one staff member gave us a little attitude which we did not appreciate. The hotel lobby was nice and they offered free internet. The rooms were filthy and highly uncomfortable. They do not have air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open at night and there was a lot of commotion outside in the middle of the night with the nearby restaurants and bars taking trash out, etc. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower, it isn't bad, but otherwise not a great experience. Just a block or 2 from the train station, this place allows you to park your suit case within minutes of arrival into Firenze. It's also a block or 2 from Duomo and other interesting sites. Be prepared for a small flight of stairs before the elevator and unusual rooms - ours had 2 levels with a staircase and old operable wooden shutters that allowed […] us to block out the sounds of the busy street below. The furnishings were old though and the bathroom was so very tiny. My boyfriend could barely fit in the shower! Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Hotel Paris. The location is unparalleled if your travelling via train--a very short walk right to the Firenze SMN train station and very centrally located in a nice neighborhood. The staff were very nice and accomodating. The hotel itself was quite charming with old world touches and a lovely fresco in the […] breakfast room. Breakfast was great and so nice to have it complementary, they will even make you cappucino to order! There were a few small "cons": it being an old building, the walls were quite thin and unfortunately we could hear everything our neighbors were doing (everything they said and "ahem" did if you know what I mean...). I would suggest bringing noise cancelling headphones. The beds themselves were small and not very comfortable but I also believe that this is probably what you get in the area for the price you pay. We had a problem with the faucets running one evening but the hotel staff were trying to fix it and did as promplty as they could. Overall, I would recommend it and certainly stay there again. Great location. Everything of note in Florence is easy to walk to from here. Also close to the transit station.

This hotel was very close to the Duomo and the Santa Maria Novella Church and Station. The rooms were a good size and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Awesome historic old Hotel , built in the 1500's I think , very cool , we had an awesome little patio off our room with incredible views of the city... super close to the main train station, 10 min walk, everything was in walking distance, super nice braekfast buffet, comfy heated towel bar in the bathroom soft plush towels mmmm so nice... we loved […] it and would recomend to anyone! ;-) Lees meer

We stayed for four nights in the winter and had mainly blue skies which was great. Hotel Paris was renovated from an old palazzo and our room had info about the past owners and when it was built- very fascinating. This was the biggest hotel room I have ever seen in Europe. The beds were average but the great location made it all worth it.

Good location (very close to the train station and places of interest), so so breakfast (cold breakfast for most part), good room (we booked a double superior). No view. When we checked in, the lady at the counter said we would have to pay for internet,even though it was already included in my room rate. She was inflexible with almost every request. […] We saw her do this with other guests as well. The men at the counter were very helpful - helped us plan our trip, get train reservations for our next destination etc. The cleaning staff was not efficient - they didnot make our beds / clean the room any of the 3 days during our stay. Hotel Paris is conveniently placed - a five minute stroll from Santa Maria Novella train station, in a nice, traditionally Italian road - all tall buildings with shutters - a little trattoria opposite, quiet piazza nearby. Considering how close you are to the Duomo (you can just see catch a side view as you step out of the hotel foyer) it was reasonably […] priced. The foyer is quite impressive but rooms very basic. All the essentials were there - reasonably comfy bed (albeit a litttle on the hard side for me), clean, hot water, TV, bed made every day. Ours, at the very top of the hotel was really quiet - amazing considering how busy the streets in the surrounding area. Continental buffet breakfast was very good. Warm croissants and pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cheese and ham, fruit juices and even Twinings tea! The room it was served in was lovely, v characterful, frescos on the high arched ceilings. There was a real international feel -hardly any Brits, so good fun trying to work out where everyone was from. There was some work going on when we visited so didn't have access to the the roof terrace, which was a shame. Would have been nice to chill out there after a hectic day in the city. All in all a good value for money in a central location but if you want something plusher and more romantic go nearer the river near the Ponte Vecchio. Lees meer

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Paris so very much and would highly recommend it. It is located within 15 minutes walk to all major attractions and the train station. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. They gave us endless directions and information with a great attitude. Where to eat is easy to find, you just follow the scent of fresh baked bread every morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. This was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is clean, charming and in a great location. Our room was fairly large by European standards. The staff made all the difference, they could not have been more helpful or knowledgable. Breakfast was included and a nice selection was offered. Again the staff went to great lengths to please. We were only in Florence for one night so I picked this hotel because we could walk to the train station. It was also very close for walking to all the main attractions. So location was good but we were on a main road and got woken up numerous times during the night for pedestrian/road noise. Then someone on a streetfront downstairs started throwing […] construstion materials into a bin at 6:00 AM and sleep was impossible. Room was very out of date and the bed was not very comfortable but it was clean. And it was cheap and in a good location. So you get what you pay for... Lees meer

We loved the Hotel Paris in Florence. The furnishings were just beautiful, very posh. Our room was large with amazing stained glass windows. There is a lovely outdoor terrace to relax on. Hotel is within easy walking distance of train station yet on a quiet street. Easy walking to all the sites of old Florence. Great shopping nearby.
