"Convenient to downtown, but not walking distance."
Surprisingly nice, part of Radison chain.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was conveniently located to highway, restaurants and gas stations. It was a sort drive to The Biltmore Estate. Breakfast was very good with many choices. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Convenient location just off I-26....breakfast has large variety of items, tasted good, pleasant area to eat and large enough to accomadate all that stopped in
"Holiday Inn Express"
The hotel was very well kept and the people were helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was with the removalble, hand held shower head. I have never been a fan of them and It won't stay in place.

Its expensive for the quality of the room. Not much option for b'fast. Staff is warm and helpful. About 5 miles from downtown. I would not really stay here again.

Considering that the staff is in a Hospitality Industry, I expect them to be more courteous, smiling and friendly. I specifically requested a room with a view but did not get one, even though the hotel had 5 floors. The Breakfast area seemed too crowded with less tables and chairs and some guests had to use reception area.

"Great hotel, just not good tv"
The hotel staff was great, breakfast was plentiful, and the room was really clean. The only problem was the television. Thank goodness, we didn't plan to stay in and watch tv much. However, if you're someone who does, don't plan on good tv watching. The television was a newer 42 inch or so flatscreen, but it used cable. The channels took forever to […] change, they were definitely not in HD, and there wasn't even a tv guide-like channel. After flipping through blurry channels of infomercials and unappealing reruns, we cut it off. I guess that was a good way of getting us out of the room and into the nature-filled mountains and hippie-filled downtown Asheville. "Good hotel but staff is lacking"
We thought the hotel itself was very nice and easy to get to. We were in the area to tour the Biltmore and it was very conveniently located and easy to get to. The complaint we had was with the hotel desk staff. They never once greeted us as we were going in or out of the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. The lady that managed the breakfast was especially nice and helped whenever possible. The breakfast was great and the room was nice. "Nice place to stay"
This particular Holiday Inn Express appeared to be a well-maintained property. The staff was very polite, and the breakfast was adequate for me, although my wife would have appreciated some lower-carb offerings. The location of this property is not particularly convenient to downtown Asheville, but we would consider staying there again.

"Consistency is a must in the Hotel business"
We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Expresses in the past few years and we have come to expect a very good experience every time. They always deliver! Always clean, always well appointed and always staffed with great people. When we travel we will always look for a Holiday Inn Express as a reliable option for lodging.

"awesome and beatiful hotel"
very clean, organized, new hotel. We were 15 minutes from downtown asheville. The hotel it's right off main hwy, mcdonald, taco bell, market, k-mart, theater right accross hotel. The mountains were 10 minutes away. Chimeney rock and lake Lure 30-45 min and Black mountain 30 minutes. Very convenience location

"Comfortable & convenient."
We visited The Biltmore & it was only a few miles away, very convenient. Our rooms were not ready until check-in at 3 so we waited a bit to check in after we arrived (with a 4-year old). Breakfast was OK with the usual continental b'fast items & hot sausage & pancakes available, too. The mall nearby was mostly closed down & they are planning to put […] in outlet stores some time in the future so as of 12/11, don't chose this location for shopping at the mall. Lees meer

When speaking to customer service prior to registration, we were both on the same website, however, the Holiday Inn Suites we stayed in, was totally different from what I thought I was reserving. When I tried to cancel to move to a more upscale facility, was told this was not possible, because Hotel would not reimburse Hotels.com. However, the customer […] service representative, that took care of us on 25 Dec, was very considerate and honest, and helped us cancel the Hilton because of weather conditions. We checked in late in the evening and there were 2 male employees at the desk. We were check in quickly and given all of the information we needed. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was a full meal and changed from day to day. Rooms were clean and comfortable and looked brand new. I loved the balcony and the mountain views from the room. Centrally located to The Biltmore and shopping. Worth the money

"Asheville close to everything! very nice and clean"
We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great! The hotel is very clean and worth every penny. We will definetely stay here next time. Free breakfast everyday and whatever you need is just a minute drive.

There were two things that I was a little disappointed in. First, the wireless internet was not working the night I stayed there. I understand this is not within the control of the hotel staff. Second, the comforter on the bed was too heavy, warm and also lumpy, but the sheet alone was not quite enough cover for the night.
