Four Points by Sheraton York in York

After checking into my room, I took my bags up to wait for my sister to arrive. The carpet had several crumbs and stuff on it. When my sister arrived, we asked at the front desk on our way out to shopping if they would vacuum the room. When we got back later the same crumbs were still there. I asked the front desk if they had someone re-vacuum and she […] said yes. I think maybe they need new vacuums. The next morning after breakfast we went to our room to gather our bags and neither of our keys worked. I went to the front desk so they could re-activate our keys and they still did not work I called the desk from the hall and they sent a maintenance man to get us into our room. Unfortunately I booked the room through Hotels.com so I wasn't able to ask for any compensation. Lees meer

This is our 3rd stay & while there is nothing really in walking distance it is conveniently located to shopping & major roads. The hot tub was not working & the poool could have been cleaner but overall it is a nice place & I will stay there again. The staff is also so very nice & one of the reasons we keep coming back!

the hotel was very nice....but the bed was made to look at and not sleep in. The bed was very soft and the pillows were not very good for me and I can sleep anywhere and on anything and this is the first hotel I have not been able to sleep in the bed. The pool was wonderful and one of the best pools at a hotel I have gone to. The hot tub needs to be […] updated and all the jets need to work. Also, could be a little warmer, the water coming out of the jets were cold so you could not sit up by them. The hotel was cheap with the soap and only gave us one bar. So, we had to keep taking it from the tub to the sink. Towels were nice and what you would get from a Sheraton. Overall, it was a very nice hotel and great location to USA Factory Tours. Lees meer

The hotel staff was friendly and checking in/out was a breeze. The hotel was clean and quiet. The beds were VERY comfortable, so much so that we didn't get up in time to make it to breakfast. Great Stay!

We were booked into a neighboring hotel that had an unacceptable smell of mildew. We saw the Four Points and walked in cold. We were denied a room until we went back to our car and found this same hotel on hotels.com listed as rooms available so, we booked it. We walked right back in and the same clerk gave us a handicap accessible room. We don't know […] if this is all he had or if he was mad that we went over his head to book a room but, the hotel itself was pleasant. We stayed overnight because it was a good rate. Our original hotel in Lancaster cancelled on us because of a problem that hey had. We had to book a hotel fast without any real research. I spent only two nights in the hotel but would admit it was by-far the best hotel stay I have had in years. The room was spotless and fresh. It was hard to tell that anyone had ever stayed in the room before me. Quiet and extremely comfortable location also. Would recommend to all. The staff were very kind, check-in was fast and precise. We came up to York to visit family and had a nice stay. I worked at this hotel 30 yrs ago and I see alot of upgrades since then. The mattress was comfortable and the pool was nice.

Carpets dirty, Room musty smelling, Blankets old Just not comparable to the last hotel I stayed at.

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything from the employees, room & amenities were all top quality. Will definately stay there again.

We always stay at this hotel when we travel to York, PA and we go at least once a year. It is in a great location and the staff are very help, pleasant and attentive. The value for cost is very good. The breakfast is not great (but the service is). However there is a wonderful restaurant just next to the hotel.

What a great hotel! The room was styled smartly and was roomy and comfortable. The front desk service was polite and competent throughout.

Very pleasant stay. No hassle from the maid for check-out. Definately will come back to this hotel again in the future. Chose this location, for the route to the York Fair.

I don't have any complaints about this hotel overall. Great price. Great location. Eateries in walking distance. And most of all, very quiet! Pool a little over chlorinated. BEWARE though: You may not get what you asked for, as me. And little if any was done to remedy it which is why I moved to another hotel for the remainder of my 3 week stay. This hotel is very nice from the outside, but the rooms are very old. The carpet did not feel clean and the sheets were quite worn. This hotel is way overpriced for the quality you receive. I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Bathroom was on the small side. Need more places to plug in electronics. The fitness room was really great. The pool was big for a hotel pool. They could use some larger towels at the pool. The AC was a little loud...cycling on and off all night. Otherwise, nice clean place. Would definitely stay there again.

A very nice hotel. Hotel is located very close to I-83 and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Hotel room was very clean and roomy. Bed was quite comfortable. The hotel staff was very accommodating and courteous. My trip was a short 2-day trip and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel.

Recently remodeled nice rooms.

Older hotel nicely renovated with modelrn conveniences and amenities. Very good restaurant on site

We were traveling from NY to VA and stopped here for an overnighter to break up the drive. It was a very clean hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. We only had two problems. The walls and doors of the rooms were paper thin, so we were awaken by a screaming child at 7 am! We desperately wanted at least another hour of sleep, but couldn't get it. […] The hotel staff were prompt at correcting the situation when we called. They immediately knocked on the door of our unruly neighbors. It stopped the kid from screaming but unfortunately because the walls were so thin we could still hear talking as if they were in the room with us. As for the food (problem #2), I don't recommend that you eat in the hotel. I saw the cheif come out and grab ice (the ice used to keep the fruit bowls, milk and other breakfast items cold) with his bare hands and put it into the hot tray of sausage.
