Dit hotel ligt vlak bij de luchthaven en dus ideaal wanneer je vlucht de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrekt. De kamers zijn comfortabel en proper, de mensen van de receptie zeer behulpzaam. Er is een shuttle van en naar de luchthaven en van daaruit kan je de light rail naar het centrum nemen. Je bent dan wel bijna een uur onderweg...

Het hotel zag er mooi uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Eigenlijk zijn wij niet anders gewend van dit hotelketen. De badkamer met wastafel in één kamer (hadden wij niet in de vorige hotels) beviel goed. Wij hadden een kamer voor niet-rokers, maar er hing een vage rokerslucht in de kamer. Met het schaamrood op de kaken probeerde de receptie dit te herstellen. Opgelost middels citroen verfrisser: wellicht toch ontstaan door de kleding van een zware roker vóór ons. De bedden waren perfect en wifi en de beschikbare parkeerruimte waren goed. We hebben door een technische storing een dag zonder wifi gezeten: erg vervelend maar éénmalig. Het raam kon open voor frisse lucht en geluiden uit de natuur: prettig. Het ontbijt was basic (continental breakfast), maar goed genoeg om de dag te beginnen. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Wij zijn hier 6 nachten gebleven. Al met al was het een plezierig verblijf in een rustige omgeving: ik zou hier zeker terugkomen.

Het hotel zag er netjes uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. De kamer en de badkamer waren klein, maar OK. De overige zaken, zoals wifi en parkeerruimte waren goed. De airco was echter luidruchtig en met het raam open was er veel overlast van het verkeer. Het ontbijt was basic, maar goed verzorgd met dagelijks vers fruit. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Het hotel ligt niet ver van de Alderwood mall. Wij zijn hier 3 nachten gebleven. Ondanks de kleine kamer en kleine minpunten zou ik hier zeker terugkomen.

Exactly what you'd expect of the hotel. Basic, but clean. Free basic breakfast and a shuttle to the airport every half hour. If you want to watch TV, there are enough channels. In a nuttshell: a good place to stay a few days or just overnight if you have a flight the next day.

Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Downtown Lake Union ligt in het hart van Seattle. dit hotel is een gezinsvriendelijke accommodatie in de buurt van Amazon Corporate Headquarters, Pacific Northwest Ballet en Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. In de buurt vind je ook Teatro ZinZanni en Intiman Theater.

Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Downtown Lake Union heeft een binnenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel met een groen/duurzaam beleid biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een bar/lounge en een snackbar/broodjeszaak. De beeldende Space Needle staat in Seattle Center, twee minuten rijden met de monorail vanuit het centrum. Zowel de trein als de toren zijn in 1962 gebouwd voor de World's Fair. Het Seattle Center biedt opera, ballet en theater, en je vindt er de Key Arena, het Pacific Science Center en het Experience Music Project. Het naburige negen are grote Olympic Sculpture Park zorgt voor een onderbreking. Je hebt er bij de waterkant uitzicht op de Olympic Mountains.

I had a wonderful saty at this Courtyard hotel, the staff were very good and the room was as described. The only issue is the parking which is $20.00 per day which could add up quickly if you stay more thana couple of days. Other than that my room was comfortable and clean.

"Wonderful view of Lake Union"
The hotel is nicely located across the street from Lake Union IIt's a great place to walk around the lake; close to the Wooden Boats and several upscale restaurants.Although my room did not face the lake, I did have a view of the Space Needle. Unfortunately there is limited parking in this area of Seattle, and parking at the hotel was $20.00 per night. […] Room was small but clean. Overall my experience was good, however the food service/quality was not up to this hotel chain's standards. I paid $12.00 for a Ceaser Salad and most of the lettuce had brown edges. Hotel was average. No bar fridge, construction, access was not great. We only stayed there because it had a pool. Pricey overall. Ended up paying $47 for parking with tax. Way too much! Front desk never, and I mean never, answers the phone.
That was the worst experiece I had in my life I was in your hotel in Stambule Turky ,I was in Victoria B.C. it was wonderful but your hotel in Seattle was the Worst specially you do have a woman ther as assistant manager she is very rude

Wonderful location; lots of opportunity to run / walk in the neighborhood. Nice views of the lake and activity on the lake.
"Good Hotel but not completely honest description"
The hotel was ok. Clean, good size rooms. The staff was friendly. The big issue here is the $20 parking that is not mentioned when we made the reservation. There is free parking across the buys street, but you take your chances, as it was told to us cars get broken into over there. "Super duper New Years"
Despite booking through hotels.com, the staff was nice enough to upgrade the room to a water front view, so I got to watch the sail boats and sea planes come and go. All of the amenities, including the pool, gym, bar and restaurant, were quite nice. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, but perhaps a little over priced, as were the drinks at the bar. […] Overall, I was pretty stoked on the hotel. The price to location was great, so I will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to Seattle. Lees meer

Liked the room, but the service was terrible. At night, no one answers the front desk phone (it rand 22 times before I hung up). Very inconvenient for wake-up calls and to get outside hotel information. It actually ruined the whole experience at the hotel.

Very limited and expensive parking. Access is very poor due to construction that is going to last for at least a year. No breakfast at this room rate is to much.
"Nothing fancy, but decent"
The bed was amazingly comfortable; the pillows not so much. Scratchy towels! But otherwise it was good. Our second floor room looked out over a concrete roof, and we couldn't see the lake, so if that's important, ask for a higher level room. It was good for what we needed and I'd go back again.

Hotel was nice enough. Pool was small though. There is street construction going on outside which is obviously out of their control. Staff was pleasant, rooms were nice and clean. I would consider this a solid 3 star hotel.

The room was great but the service was TERRIBLE. Upon arriving, I was happy with the gentleman that helped us check in and it went downhill from there. There was a very rude clerk who angrily knocked on our door and told us we were being loud. We had the TV on at a decent level and we talking at a normal level as well. OK, I got over that quickly and […] turned the TV down and closed the window thinking that was the problem. We had no more issues with that. HOWEVER, the next day before check out I had to call the front desk and the woman who answered not only rushed me on the phone and didn't listen to what I was asking but was the rudest person I have spoken to in a long time. I don't usually complain but have to because I was shocked at the poor level of customer service for a 3 star hotel that cost more than what I usually pay for a 4 star hotel. "Across from Lake Union"
This Marriott has the same fine service we have received at other Marriott Courtyards across the country. A real bonus is being across the street from a new Seattle park with walking trails beside Lake Union. The Wooden Boat Museum is at the waterfront and Argosy Cruises is just a couple blocks away. You can also ride on a paddlewheel steamboat or take […] the ice cream tour on the lake. Nice location for hanging out by the hotel plus lots of restaurants in the area. Hopefully Mercer Street repairs will be completed by the next time we stay here. Lees meer

My room was consistent with what I have come to expect form Marriott. The only major disappointment was the restaurant was closed. This was due to lack of business. SO if you stay there don't plan on dining facilities, as it depends on how full they are whether it's open. Two things to be forewarned about- There is a lot of construction, making access […] a bit difficult. "Staff was difficult and unaccomodating"
I am a single mom who brought my two little boys for a weekend of fun in Seattle. We booked on Expedia. After I booked the first night, I decided I wanted to stay an additional night. So, I called the hotel to ask to extend my stay about 2 days prior to our arrival. I was told they couldn't do this because I had booked online, so I should go back online […] and book the next night. So, I did. When we checked in, I was told because I had two separate reservations, we would have to MOVE after the first night into another room. With two little ones, this was a pain. I don't understand why they could not let us stay in the same room. I even spoke with the manager- the answer "We can't touch hotels.com reservations. There is nothing we can do." So, rather than move, we LEFT the hotel for the second night and went somewhere else. They were so nasty to us that I wasn't about to spend my money there so we moved up the street to the Residence Inn where we had a lovely second night. WON'T go back. Lees meer

"Marriott at Lake Union"
Unfortunately, there was road construction directly in front of the hotel which made access difficult. The room was adequate but the least attractive of any I've stayed in during my lifetime. It was very dated. The room was very clean, as was the fitness room I utilized. I was extremely unhappy that the restaurant closed on weekends. I would never have […] stayed there if I knew that. The positive aspect was that the trolley to downtown was $2.50 and was only a two block walk to ride. I loved that!. Lees meer
"Acceptable"
For a Courtyard Marriott the room in this hotel seemed below standard. Not as clean and comfortable as we expected it would be. The area was so-so also. You'd think being on Lake Union in Seattle it would be nice, but the neighborhood really isn't that nice. Have to pay for parking too.

I have stayed in this hotel in the past and it is relaxing. Waterfront views are nice to look over Lake Union. Walk accross the street to many dinning options at all different price levels. Great lineup very close. I have stayed here in the past a few times. Will stay there again.

"lake view"
The Hotel in general was very clean and the staff was polite and helpful. The biggest problem was accessiblity. Most of the major streets to get to the hotel were closed or blocked and therefore it made it difficult to navigate being from out of town and not knowing the location very well. The lakeview was nice but having rooms facing an apartment building […] and calling that a city view was not exceptable to us. Overall we had a nice stay. Lees meer

"Clean, comfortable and close to everything!"
My children and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very nice and children friendly. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a nice view on the lake and close to everything. Only drawback was hearing the kids screaming next door. Garage parking is expensive ($20) but you also have the option of parking for free across […] the street. The restaurant had good food even though expensive. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It would be nice to include breakfast in the price though... The swimming pool and spa were favorites for the kids! I would definitely go back there. Lees meer

"WOW Almost another Honeymoon"
We had a wonderful romantic weekend and loved every minute of it . We were treated wonderfully from the begining and loved the time we spent there Thank you for giving me what I will concider my second honeymoon.

This hotel is within walking distance of the Seattle Center and all its attractions for both adults and kids. It's a little hard to access now, with construction going on outside, but the gated parking made me feel secure. Desk staff were outstanding and helpful.
