Nieuw hotel vlakbij de luchthaven. Wij hebben geen last gehad van de vliegtuigen. Prima ontbijt, voldoende keus. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel.Zwembad en jacuzzi waren 24 uur open. Alles perfect schoon gehouden. Een oase van rust en toch in de buurt van de strip. Heerlijk om binnen 5 minuten aan het ontbijt te kunnen zitten of bij het zwembad zonder eerst 15 minuten door een casino te moeten lopen.

Heel mooi en luxe hotel, enig minpunt is dat er geen of nauwelijks ontbijtmogelijkheden zijn. Verder een luxe hotel met alle voorzieningen, dame die ons incheckte was vriendelijk maar het was tevens haar eerste dag, de rest van het personeel was iets minder vriendelijk. Het hotel zou ik eerder beoordelen als 4*, over de top (zoals Bellagio/Ceasars Palace) was het niet.

super super super mooi, helemaal perfect. Bij aankomst heel aardig personeel. Kamer kon omgeboekt worden naar een kamer met heel mooi uitzicht! Zonder extra kosten! Geen domme resort fee die er ineens nog dagelijks bij kwam! heerlijk, perfect hotel gewoon!

Goed hotel voor verblijf niet ver van de Strip. Restaurant Ellis Island naast hotel gelegen met heerlijk steakmenu voor $7,99. Supermarktje 7 eleven vlakbij.Handige shuttle van en naar luchthaven.

leuk hotel op de strip, zonder onverwachte fee's maar over de hele lijn wel iets minder dan bv NYNY,Luxor,Excalibur; de gemiddelde leeftijd van de casino gasten zit er zo boven de 45j ipv de andere casino's rond de 25-30j; ps:ontbijt=broodje bij de starbucks
This hotel is not really family orientated. I have a 9 and 11 year olds and there was little to do for them at this hotel. We ended up staying an extra night but booked it at a place with more kid friendly amenities and it cost less.

"Stay here"
Loved it. Can't wait to go back. No need to leave the hotel. Everything was there. Great dinner at the chart house with awesome bartender from Jersey.
There is nothing negative I could say about this hotel. I always enjoy my stay at the Golden Nucket. This year I booked a room for my mother and seperate rooms for my two brothers. I was able to request-in-advance, a disabled/handicap room for my brother and a little scooter to assist with his mobility. "Nice place to stay on fremont."
If you are going to stay in the fremont and not go to the strip the hotel is nice. Rush tower rooms are big and plush. The italyan restaurant there is expensive and the food was okay. I would definitely stay here again.
"Awesome Pool"
I really liked the atmosphere - However had some issues when we rented the cabana on our first day and found ourselves sitting in full shade by 2pm when we were told we would be in full sun. The front desk did nothing to rectify the situation - were it not for our waitress (ashley) you would have one very disatisfied customer!!
"Fantastic stay for the price"
The Golden Nuget is very well maintained for its age. The help was awesome. Thanks to there craps lessons, I made out pretty good. I would stay again, and I would recomend Hotels.com
beautiful place. THE ONLY problem or issue we had was it was far to walk to casino, with our handicapps. shoujld have been a shorter way to get there. otherwise fantastic

"Golden Nugget great for Fremont Street Access"
Golden Nugget is really nice in decor and bedding! Awesome comfort. Totally updated. Pool is interesting, but poolside chairs crammed in like sardines in the sunny areas, or pay to be on sundeck up above. No specials or coupons from anywhere in the hotel,unlike other places in downtown area. "Service the worst ever in Vegas in over 20 trips"
The service was the worst I've ever experienced in las Vegas. Slot machines were constantly having problems. Had to wait a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes for help each time. Wasted hours of my vacation on waiting. Maintenance guys would all complain about how often the machines would go down. At check out we weren't asked how our stay was. The bartenders […] made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by asking for a drink because the were to busy talking to eachother or texting on their phones. Saw several cocktail servers using their phones as well standing in corners or at the bar. This is obviously why we would have to wait for up to 30 minutes for one to comearound if we wanted something. "room service took too long"
The room was nice and clean. Even though I booked a room with a king sized bed they said they were out and me and my boyfriend had to get a twin bed room. Room service took an hour and a half for a piece of cake and tenders with fries.. By the time our dinner showed up we were already asleep. Food was good though.

Carson tower still smells of smoke from days gone by. Great beds but no reasonable 3G service from room Best valet and doorpersons-generally a very fine staff.

"Leaky Room"
The hotel and room where nice the remodel they did a good job on. The room was clean however it had problems. That air conditioner condenser leak all over the carpet on one side of the room. We had checked in at 3 AM so we did not complain because we were tired. To be waking up at 6:10 AM because the upstairs bathroom was leaking onto the other side […] of the room. Of course the staff was all nice from cleaning to check in. We call maintenance and they just blew us off. The hotel it's self is nice. Overall we would stay there again. My stay was short. 1 night the room was niice and clean. I spent most of my night in the casino. I learn to play 3 card poker. I ate at Lillie's. THe meal was great. everything was affordable. Will visit again. THANK YOU

"First time staying downtown"
Wife and I love Vegas and have been there numerous times - normally stay on the strip, but decided that we would stay downtown because we enjoyed our time at the Fremont Street experience. Decided on the Golden Nugget from the reviews here and it was well worth it. Lots of things to do and see close by, and cabs are easy to get if you want to visit […] other places. Stayed in the Gold Tower, and it had THE most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in in Vegas, with views of the mountains out west. The Grotto restaurant on-site had incredible food for a great price. Will definitely stay there again. Lees meer

The light bulbs in many of the elevator/lift did not work, so you weren't sure if the lift was coming or not.

Room was great. Good size bathroom and shower. Everything was clean. Pool was really nice also. 3rd deck is for adults only and wasn't crowded. I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay on Fremont. We plan on coming back at the end of April for my birthday!

"Check your sheets before you lay down."
We checked our sheets when we returned to the room at 130 a.m. and found what looked like blood stains on the undersheet and then bright red stains on the comforter that looked like blood also and then looking closer there were yellow stains from a liquid that i will let you guess what my wife thought they were so we wound up sleeping wrapped in blankets […] that we brought with us on top of the bed. "Pretty much what we needed"
We decided to stay one night here as we were intrigued by the shark tank and slide going through it. The kids really found that to be a kick. The property is well maintained, although the Fremont Street is a bit seedy.

Hotel is very nice,I was lucky to get room cheap,I always wanted to stay here and I will if I live long enough,the only problem I is, I love my coffee first thing, I'm just too cheap to buy their little box of coffee,(kcups)I probadly would drink a pot coffee before I even went down stairs, walmart sells a small box of them for what a few would cost […] and they only have 1 flavor in the room,I love Fremont St, I've stayed on the strip, but had more fun on Fremont Lees meer
"Rush Tower- Nice"
We stayed in the Rush Tower and the room was really nice. Front desk & Housekeeping service- excellent. Our only complaint is that the room is dark, even with all the lights on. Being from the Northwest we loved that there is a Starbucks right on site! The Nugget was fabulas ole school feel with a new school vibe.... service was great, the pool was out of a movie :-p... watch out ladies!
