Nieuw hotel vlakbij de luchthaven. Wij hebben geen last gehad van de vliegtuigen. Prima ontbijt, voldoende keus. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel.Zwembad en jacuzzi waren 24 uur open. Alles perfect schoon gehouden. Een oase van rust en toch in de buurt van de strip. Heerlijk om binnen 5 minuten aan het ontbijt te kunnen zitten of bij het zwembad zonder eerst 15 minuten door een casino te moeten lopen.

Heel mooi en luxe hotel, enig minpunt is dat er geen of nauwelijks ontbijtmogelijkheden zijn. Verder een luxe hotel met alle voorzieningen, dame die ons incheckte was vriendelijk maar het was tevens haar eerste dag, de rest van het personeel was iets minder vriendelijk. Het hotel zou ik eerder beoordelen als 4*, over de top (zoals Bellagio/Ceasars Palace) was het niet.

super super super mooi, helemaal perfect. Bij aankomst heel aardig personeel. Kamer kon omgeboekt worden naar een kamer met heel mooi uitzicht! Zonder extra kosten! Geen domme resort fee die er ineens nog dagelijks bij kwam! heerlijk, perfect hotel gewoon!

Goed hotel voor verblijf niet ver van de Strip. Restaurant Ellis Island naast hotel gelegen met heerlijk steakmenu voor $7,99. Supermarktje 7 eleven vlakbij.Handige shuttle van en naar luchthaven.

leuk hotel op de strip, zonder onverwachte fee's maar over de hele lijn wel iets minder dan bv NYNY,Luxor,Excalibur; de gemiddelde leeftijd van de casino gasten zit er zo boven de 45j ipv de andere casino's rond de 25-30j; ps:ontbijt=broodje bij de starbucks

The $30 million pool complex the Tank includes a shark tank, a 3-story enclosed waterslide that zips you through the tank (safely), and 13 private cabanas (surcharge). At the 3rd floor of the Tank, the Hideout offers an escape for guests 16 and older. Here, you can swim in the 2-story infinity pool, or sprawl out on a chaise longue (surcharge) and catch some rays. Erg mooi hotel.schoon,ruim,alles bij de hand.er stond wel dat roken was toegestaan maar wij verbleven in de rushtower wat een niet roken toren is.wel een super mooie kamer.verder mag je overal roken en was eigenlijk geen probleem.internet is duur.en hebben ze 4x berekend.uiteindelijk wel gereformeerd bij het uitchecken.rustige toren,geen lawaai behalve […] de schoonmaaksters om 8 uur in de ochtend.die druk praten op de gang.zou het hotel zeker aanraden!! "Golden Nugget Hotel-veel te druk"
Dit was een erg druk en lawaaiig hotel. Het zwembad was overvol, nauwelijks een bed te vinden, het rook er niet fris en overal zaten mensen te roken. Er waren lange rijen voor het ontbijtbuffet, we hebben zeker 40 minuten gewacht voordat we een plek kregen aangewezen. Er was tot laat in de nacht harde muziek die in de kamer door dreunde. het ligt leuk , meteen bij de fremont experience : een bijzondere voorstelling 3x per avond [ gratis ]. vanuit je kamer mooi uitzicht op de Strip. goede gratis hotel P. een groot Minpunt geen gratis internet.

We hadden speciaal een corner suite genomen voor het uitzicht maar werden in 1e instantie op de 5e verdieping gezet waar je verblind werd door 2 enorm grote lampen die de gevel verlichten! Nadat we daarover klaagden werden we naar de 19e verdieping overgeplaatst. Maar het is gewoon niet zo'n mooie buurt met veel parkeergarages rond het hotel e.d. dus […] voor het uitzicht zou ik de volgende keer zeker niet extra betalen. Lees meer

Mooi hotel, centraal gelegen downtown. Als je de drukte van de strip even beu bent is het downtown Las Vegas echt genieten geblazen. Het zwembad met de haaien in The Golden Nugget moet je echt gezien hebben!

Old school when it is at its best ! Why stay on the Strip when you can stay down town, the perfect Las Vegas experience. Recommend you stay a few nights down town and the rest on the strip.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Close to a lot of things to do all night long. Beautiful huge pool and fish tank that was a fun time. The only thing was they said over size shower and tub but it was a basic shower tub combo. Hotels usually give you complimentary coffee in your room but here they charge you 10 dollars for 2 cups. "Customer service is not a priority here..."
First, I paid for an upgraded suite in the recently renovated Rush tower. The room is decent, but not worth the extra expense. I visited my cousin's room in the Carson tower (lower rates) only to discover that the rooms are not terribly different. In fact, he had a much better view and a quieter stay. If that's not bad enough, the maitre d' (named Blaze) […] at the Grotto was extremely pompous, pretentious, and rude. Plus, many if our party had different rooms in the Rush tower. After the maid cleaned the room, our cards stopped working. Hotel management tried saying that we demagnetized the cards with our cellphones; yes, the six of us managed to demagnetize our room cards with our cellphones at roughly the same time. I guess we're gifted that way and the basic laws of probability don't apply to us. But hey, mistakes happen, right? My issue is that hotel management was patronizing and rude in handling these matters. So, if you hope to receive good customer service for your money, you may want to reconsider your accommodations and avoid the Golden Nugget!!!! Lees meer
My stay was great the hotel is beautiful the room was great. We had 3 people stay in our room our only complaints is that they never gave us 3 glasses to use, they never replaced the coffee cups so we ran out of cups the blow dryer wouldn't work on high if you used it on high it would turn off and I would have to wait to turn it back on or use it on […] low/med. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there and outside of those little quirks we would stay there again. Lees meer

Overall the hotel and the service was very nice, but there didn't seem to be any perks or deals. They even charge you for the in room coffee. Never had to pay for that before! Ever!

Checking in was quick and customer service very nice...they checked us in early no problem! Rush Tower was booked, so we stayed at the Carson Tower. I was very pleased with the room...the bed...the best I've ever slept in as far as hotels. I couldn't believe it... Food was excellent...ate at the Grotto and the Grill! Didn't get a chance to try the sushi […] place...but will definately next time. Pool was great..always entertained by the sharks and fish.. and the slide a lot of fun. Was able to find a chair fairly easy. People staying there all seemed very nice as well.! Will definately come stay again! Played a lot of video poker and the bartenders were great! Always checking your drink and giving refill if needed! Love the Golden Nugget! Lees meer

"Kid friendly"
Our first stay here and we had our three kids, 8,10,&11...they absolutely loved the pool , and so did we. They were able to swim while we got some play time at the card tables thereThe room was very big and was a perfect fit for all of us. The room was also very clean and up to date. I was very satisfied. The one thing I would like to see change is […] the check in wait line. A bit long but for the great service it was well worth it!!! Vegas is not a place for kids but this hotel made it a nice stay for us and the rate was awesome. "Weekend with the girls"
We had a great time. We weren't too pleased with the over crowded pool. Apparently in order to go to the "adult only" pool, you have to have reservations so be prepared if you don't want to be surrounded by kids.... EVERYWHERE! Also if you want coffee in the morning, bring your K-cups. It is a Keurig machine BUT you have to pay $10.00 for 3 K-cups. […] We stayed here previously so knew ahead of time to bring them. Hotel and facilities were great. Room had plenty of space and was nicely furnished. Good facilities with shops and restaurants within the complex. The hotel was a long way from the strip and the rest of the night life.

would be better if customers made aware that a reservation is not guaranteed unless you buy vip pkg.....also had problem cashing out chips because of one person shooting the sxxx. had to complain and got my chips cashed at a supervisor desk...line was approv 30 deep and waited at least 20 minutes...never seen this before at any casino

Although this may be one of the cleanest hotels in Fremont I was'nt all that impressed. The food was bad, I did like the pool area. We checked in and a few hours later I discovered the shower did not work, we called the front desk and they were not very helpful in trying to fix it. They wanted to give us a discount on the room for the shower not working […] which we refused . We asked to be moved to another room with a working shower and they wanted to charge us for THEIR shower not working! We did ask to speak with a manager and they eventually moved us to another room but it must not have been cleaned too well because the bathroom reaked of urine. I didnt feel like going through another hour long argument to be moved again and since it was only a one night stay we just didnt use the bathroom unless we really needed to. All in all the casino and pool area are nice, the service and rooms are not all that impressive. Lees meer

I stayed in the Rush Tower and the rooms are wonderful. Big bathroom with robes, slippers, nice TV, sitting area, and lots of space. Very quiet at night but only a short walk to the excitement on Fremont St. One gripe I had was a lack of electical outlets. I had to iron my shirt in the bathroom because there are no outlets in the bedroom/living room […] area. Odd. The Italian restaurant, Grotto, was perfectly decent and had a reasonable price.
