I have already expressed my feelings online about this stay. I was not satified. The hotel is very run down and does not look anything like the pictures. Its much older and outdated. Its in very much needed to be renovated stage but apparently not being done. The carpe is very old, The beds are hard and low to floor. The bathtub is very low to the floor. […] And the athroom is very small. I got the suite and it was very dissapointing but was committed to staying there. Thank God it was only one night. the owners were friendly, the rooom seemed newly renovated, but the air didnt work, which it was still cool out so they may be getting it fixed. we enjoyed our stay.

I had a female friend come in from out of town. The hotel let us arrive at 1pm versus 3pm to check in. The manager said we can inspect the room before hand so if we didn't like it, we could cancel before the credit card was charged. My friend loved the 2 bed, kitchenette, BALCONY with a slight ocean view and a great lake view. Free internet. No bugs […] or bad odor. Bed was fairly comfortable. I slept on worse. Average room there was a beer bottle on the balcony left by previous occupant(s) room was otherwise clean had a small kitchen with oven and fridge good value for the price but average over all but if I had to I would stay there again.

Blankets smelled like urine, maid never came to clean our room! Also card never worked to get in the room and office staff put a sign on the door that said sorry for the inconvience but will return in 15 min every time we needed something!

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my daughter and me. We could actually see the ocean from our balcony because we were on a side room. The room was quite large, full kitchenette, good size bathroom. Staff was excellent. Room was clean. Pool was nice. Great location!! I would definitely come back!

There was an odor the entire time we were there. The room had a hole bunched in the way the size of a mans fist. There was a kitchen but no way to use it, no pans. I thought they could at least provide a frying pan. Continental breakfast consist of rebrewed coffee and hostess mini donuts. So if you are looking for something fancy with the finest of everything, this isn't the place for you. If you are after a good price very close to the beach, and are okay with sufficient and clean, Roadway Inn is a steal of a deal! Our family stayed there over the long weekend (I was in VA Beach to run a Half Marathon) We primarily chose it because […] of it's proximity to the finish line...and the price couldn't be beat. We stayed in a 'Suite' which was two rooms. Plenty of space for our family of four. Full size refrigerator was nice, and there were two electric burners and a sink. No Microwave though, so bring your own if you want quick meals. Also, although there is a burner, there are no pots/pans/utensils, so just make sure to bring your own stuff. The window/door wall facing the street is paper thin, so you can hear everything going on outside your room. It wasn't horrible at all, just FYI! We really were pretty pleased for the price. Very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. The bathroom was so small the door rubbed on the toilet seat. Water stains on the ceiling, and black mold. Paint pealing off the walls in the bathroom. The only redeeming value..walking distance to beach and boardwalk.

Everything close, 1 block from the beach, a lot of fun stuff to do, we went on a family mini vacation, if you are planing to cook take your own pots and pans they have stove but no microwave, appearance no very good but comfortable, clean sheets and towels... would comeback again

Office personnel very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is that we had an ice bucket in the room but never saw an ice machine.I think if they had a vending machine for snacks and/or pop that would have been helpful.

THe first night we had no air conditioning and it was 85 degrees in our room. The second night they provided a box fan. No refund was given. The elevator was dirty beyond belief. Thank goodness most of our stay was on the beach!

The kitchenette consists only of a fridge and stove, we had to ask for a toaster and microwave and had to go buy a skillet and pan, luckily i brought plates and silverware. It smelled and the toilet was not cleaned after the last quests because there was hair on the toilet and urine. The air conditioner broke for the entire hotel and it was very uncomfortable. […] the pullout sofa was like sleeping on a 2x4 and there were no extra sheets,pillows or blankets anywhere, luckily i brought them. Loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants for the price. Kids enjoyed the pool. Overall though, not the cleanest (especially stairwells and elevator) and could use updated furnishings and a good paint job.

Nice hotels, front desk staff not the nicest people, my kids got sick as soon as we got there not sure if it was the hotel or something else, cleaning staff were amazing, bed sheets smelled wonderful, nice for people without kids since i don't know what made my kids sick. great size rooms, pool was beautiful and clean, very close to the beach.

It was last minute trip that turned out pretty good for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was close to the beach/boardwall easy to get in and out of, pool was clean, parking was great. Would stay again if I ever get back to VA Beach.

I will not stay in this hotel again as when we arrived there was no parking and when i asked where to park they said if there's no spots then they didn't know where i should park. they finally made room next to their laundry facility. The beds in the rooms were like sleeping on plywood. we had a couch bed for my daughter and when we opened it there […] was a mattress and it was like springs with a cover and no padding. The bathroom had a toilet seat tinted red and only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. the air conditioning only had 1 setting and couldn't control the temp. The WiFi didn't work when i got there and had to wait for the next day for someone to come and fix it. the cleaning lady only made one bed and not the other. there was no electrical outlets for us to use except for a few and we had to unplug lights to be able to use those. underneath the sink was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. the place was discusting and its not what u pay for. tHIS PLACE WAS A LITTLE CHEAPER THAN OTHERS BUT THE QUALITY WAS TERRIBLE . the fridge and ac barely worked ac set on 60 barely made 75. fridge barely kept cold. You are only allowed one parking space even though there were two double beds
