La Quinta Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale-Tamarac in Tamarac

Een prima kamer, veel comfort en keurig schoon. Het ontbijt is heel mager...je kunt een pannenkoek bakken er is jam en droge donuts. Als je een auto hebt is het geen probleem, maar....anders wordt de kamer duur aan taxikosten !!!

Een goed hotel dat centraal ligt voor de shopping malls en het strand.

Great stay. However, the sent from the breakfast was overwhelming in the first floor room. Doors should be sealed better. Light from the corridor can be seen from inside the room.

The room which was assigned in the 1st place, was besides the elevator. We asked to change it. Was done without problem. Very comfortable, good beds, clean. Was worth its money.No complain whatsoever. Thanks

Overall stay was positive. Room was clean and comfortable for the price. However smelled majuiana in halls and guests looked a little scary. Had to wait to check in while the attendant order guest room service. Apparently guest must go through front desk to order food.

VERY ADEQUATE, HOWEVER I HAD TO PAY EXTRA DAY. RESERVATION WAS FOR10-17 APRIL NOT 10-16. SERVICES WERE BETTER THAN EXPECTED CONSIDERING RATES.

good, comfortable, neat and clean hotel. humble and nice staff. one suggestion...bring a variety in daily morning breakfast. people will enjoy it much better.

Friendly staff, close to everything I needed. Great pool. I was so comfortable I didn't want to leave.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was great for the price and conveniently located near stores for all types of shopping whether it be food or clothes. Most of my events were located in Miami so it was about a 20 minute drive each way but it was kind of nice to be away from all of the hustle and bustle of South Beach at times. Very nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The only creepy thing was the elevator as it is small and hot at times due to the bright lights in it. This was a typical La Quinta. One elevator, hallways smelled like smoke, not much about it except a small pool (which was very clean and nice). But my room was fantastic. It was a suite, and was newly decorated, clean, fresh-smelling, and laid out beautifully with one room for work or relaxing, and another for sleeping. A decent TV in both rooms, small […] refrigerator, etc. So, I can't comment on regular rooms, but if you are thinking of staying in this hotel and can afford a few dollars extra, get the suite. As far as location, if you want downtown Ft. Lauderdale or beaches, expect a 20 minute drive or more. Lees meer

Needs updates and I had a bad experience with a full hotel, alot of very rude, loud people and little kids, were doors slamming and yelling and talking in the halls, went on 11.30 at night, on my floor, next to me, across from me, it felt surreal. I couldn't wait to check out. Would never stay here again.

We were traveling to visit relatives in the area and this hotel was just 10 minutes from the their house. The lobby was clean and bright with nice furniture. Our room had everything we needed and was clean and neat. The shower pressure was fine. The complimentary breakfast had something for everyone - cereal, pastries, waffles fruit. We did go out that […] night to try to find a nearby place for a snack and drink and as we drove around, we wondered about the neighborhood. Good accommodations. Good continental breakfast. Check in and out went well. Trudie was a great help. Forgot one of the travel bags in the lobby and they saved it for me until the following week.

Well the ice machine did not work..... then went down for the continental breakfast at 9:15. the buffet was suppose to be open until 9:30 but most of the stuff was put away already. I had to ask for a plate and the staff seemed a little put off. One other thing... check out was at 11:00. We get a knock on our door at 10:00 reminding us of check out […] time.... gees.... we know when check out is. Not impressed at all..... only positive note was that this hotel is near the Florida turnpike and this was just a one night stay on our way to the keys. This hotel is fine for spending a few days on business but it must be updated. The good thing is they are in the process of remodeling. I was able to use the workout in another La Quinta by Powerline Rd and it was nicer. Ok to good value for the money.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!!

But nowhere near good. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Micro wave caught fire and refridge made loud noise.

Quick check in, friendly staff. Clean rooms and convenient location.

This La Quinta is fairly close to the airport. I thought the room was clean and fairly modern. I like their sink and bathroom which was spacious and updated. Their bed was good also. Sheets were clean and service at front desk was good. Nothing to complain but a standard hotel room good for people on the budget.

Everything about your hotel was excellent EXCEPT for the breakfast which was a badly organized self-service in a room much too small to accommodate all the guests.

My brothers and I arrived at our room for the night around 11:00pm or so. We went to sleep right away and didn't think much of the room condition because all seemed to be well. THE NEXT MORNING WE FOUND A USED SYRINGE ON ONE OF THE SHELVES IN THE CLOSET. I DON'T KNOW HOW A "HOTEL" CAN EVEN CALL THEMSELVES THAT IF THEY CAN LET SOMETHING SO DANGEROUS […] CAUSALLY HAPPEN IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. For your safety, and for the safety of the people staying with you, DO NOT STAY HERE. It's not worth the risk. Just pay a few dollars extra to stay at a place that doesn't run you the risk of contact with USED SYRINGES. Lees meer

The hotel itself was ok, however my room was extreamly smoky. I requested a non smoking room, because i do not smoke. The room was so smoky all of my luggage and cloths smelled heavy of smoke. The employees were nice and gave good customer service.

The hotel stay was very nice except I booked a non smoking room online and when I reached the hotel they only had smoking available. It did smell like smoke in the room and hallway which was very uncomfortable. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. It was a good stay and I would stay again if they have non smoking available.

Parking lot has security, which is nice because i arrived late and alone..and had to park in the back of the Hotel, he made sure I was safe and offered assitance! The room was ok, a little upkeeping needed but no complaints! A.C. did not work so well and they switched me to another room right away, cant beat that!

I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY STAY,GOOD BREAKFAST,MY PETS WERE ACCEPTED WITH NO RESTRICTIONS;GOOD EXPERIENCE.THANK YOU

Overall, I was satisfied with this hotel. I would only have one negative thing to say about my stay. My room was not cleaned everyday. I think it depended upon who did it. Some days I had all new towels a few days there were some missing. Somedays the floor was cleaned sometimes it wasn't. But a quick call to the front desk got it taken care of. I have some mixed feelings here. The Hotel was GREAT and the staff was awesome, my only problems are the area and the size of the restrooms. At night the parking is a scary place and you need to be sitting on the toilet in order to close the door.

Hotel lobby was clean, but had to wait 15 mins for the receptionist/greeter to return to the desk. the room was fairly clean, a little on the musky side on room smell, but apart from that, i think it was worth the money

I have travel on numerous occasion and have stay in many different hotels but my stay at La Quinta Tamarac was one of the best stays i have encounted. The Staff were so friendly and accomodating..........went the extra mile to make sure my family and i enjoyed our stay. I misplace children snack and the staff assisted me in finding it. The hotel stay was nice and the staff were very friendly. The bed could have been a little more comfortable for those with sensitive backs. The air condition filter should be cleaned because my husband got sick because of the air condition. He also ended up having bad back pains because of the bed. He said the mattress needs more support.

The pool area smelled like urine and under the toilet bowl was really dirty. Other than those things I really liked the hotel. Staff was friendly too.
