Grange Holborn in Londen

Very enjoyable! Hotel was beautiful and staff was very helpful!

This place is close to my office - good wifi, nice rooms, no complaints. Much cheaper for a 4-star hotel than a lot of other options in the area.

I actually like this hotel, mainly for its cleaness, facilities and more importantly it's location. The staff are always courteous and quick to help. My only gripe (as with most London hotels) is the price of the food in the restaurant. The quality of the food is very good though, the bill with mains, pudding and two drinks came to around £70. Didn't […] tempt breakfast at £20per person per day for continental only. Nearby there's ample coffee shops to get breakfast. The room was of a high standard, king size bed, lcd tv, no sign of wear and tear anywhere. The bathroom was a little small, I say small, you couldn't get to the washbasin without closing the door first. For an executive room I would say it was not an executive bathroom. One interesting observation of this hotel is the "complimentry room upgrade" you get when you first check-in. This is what we got when we first checked-in, infact when you look at the hotel's website, the room we were upgraded to was infact the one we paid for. The one next up from the executive room is executive 2, and where was the two seater sofa, I couldn't find it anywhere, certainly not in the wardrobe. Great hotel- just wish they had plugs by the bed so i could have plugged in my sleep machine next to me.

We really enjoyed our one night stay. Staff were really friendly and willing to assist with any enquiry.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Euston and Kings X train stations (15 walk) or short bus ride and being close to the West End for my mums birthday. Its a 2 minute walk to Holborn tube and then a couple of stops to Piccadilly. I checked my parents in to the hotel and mentioned it was my mums birthday and the Duty Manager Karin kindly arranged […] a 7th floor upgrade to a suite! Not only that we had a knock on the door a few minutes later and they had arranged fruit and chocolates, a lovely gesture. The hotel is a smart and modern with a great pool and gym. It is on a busy road junction and the upper floors are probably the best, floors 6 to 9. But it is London and you will hear sirens and choppers where ever you are! If you want lovely cakes try Pattiserie Valerie in Sicilian Avenue, A great restaraunt is Kimchee on High Holborn, look for the queues, its a Korean casual place. The British Museum is worth a visit with the Egyptian mummies, the Elgin marbles and the Rosetta Stone. Just round the corner is Tas a Turkish restaurant, great value and yummy food! It's not easy to find a good hotel at a good price in London. This one is just great.

I am a fan of the Grange group of hotels but wrote a less than favourable review on this particular hotel a couple of years ago, after a not very good experience here. This time round there was a massive improvement all round, let down only by a slip up in house keeping. I was booked for 2 days but extended my stay by a further day as I was pleased […] generally with what I found. I stayed in room 431 and on the third day of my visit when retreiving coins I had dropped on the floor I noticed that not only did the corner unit in the room have a layer of un-vacuumed dust under it, but also tucked away at the back of the unit was a dirty cup, saucer and spoon from a previous occupant. I left it where it was and I suspect it will still be there (management please check). Like all of us cleaners can make mistakes, that is why the housekeeper needs to check to ensure quality control. Other than this the only other point of note is that the double room I stayed in was not of a size I would expect for a hotel that advertises itself as 5 star. Location to central London is great. Ride the Piccadilly line from Heathrow and get off at Holburn station and the Grange is one block away. The lobby and outside appearance of the hotel is great and worthy of the four star rating but the rooms are a little disappointing. The bathrooms have obviously been renovated with upscale items but they are SOOOO […] small. Would not recommend these rooms to large or obese people! Front desk staff are great and the rooms are clean, The restaurant was too rich for our pocketbook but then what restaurant in London isn;t compared to North American prices. Lees meer

The Grange Hotel in London lived up to my expectations. The staff was very helpful. They upgraded me to a larger room. The hotel had a gym, swimming pool and spa. At first I thought the location was further then where I wanted to be but it turned out fine and the subway was one block from the hotel making it easy access to London. I would stay there […] again. Also has a nice workout facility. Blocks from the Holborn tube station - a really great spot if you don't have a car. It's more of a business hotel than a holiday spot, but by this point in our trip, we were ready for some comfort.

If you have any electronics with you, forget it. The room had one open outlet, and it was on the floor by the door. There was one I was able to free up on the desk, by unplugging the clock radio. Nothing by the bedside.

only stayed for one night, wish we could have stayed longer, room was fine , staff were great , pool was great.

When I arrived at the hotel I was double booked for 2 rooms and had pre-paid. They said I would have to contact hotels.com because the hotel could not cancel the reservation even though I was standing at the check-in desk. They proceded to check us in and we actually ended up in a very tiny room with a Murphy bed. It was the most uncomfortable thing […] I had ever slept in. I had called the hotel 5 weeks before our arrivel and asked if we were registered they said no, that is why I made another reservation through hotels.com. Unless they refund my more expensive reservation I will never use hotels.com or recommend the hotel. Lees meer

great location though a little noisy at night but to be expected . Breakfast good though pricy extra for a hot breakfast of £9.great help for information from concierge all in all a nice stay.

Great deal in London, 1-block from Holborn Subway Station. Only 15-min walk to Trafalgar Square and from Thames river. Great nearby restaurants. Ultra comfortable beds (among the best I have been in), high end shampoo/soaps. Great Internet Policy (free = slower and 30-min relogin, else 24-hour for 10 pounds)

Very nice spot three minutes from Holborn tube, five min from British Museum etc. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, even during a busy check-in and check-out period. Asked for a quiet room - got a nice high floor and didn't hear a peep. Room clean, comfortable and well laid out. Not huge but totally fine.

The Holborn Grange Hotel is an excellent hotel situated in Central London - Close to Oxford Street , British Museum and Convent Garden for those who like to walk and also 2-3 minutes walk from the tube station to all the must see sights. The hotel is very upmarket with beautiful decor throughout. Very good spa facilities and amazing swimming pool. The […] Japanese restaurant is a must and one can also sit in the lounge and enjoy a variety of teas or beveridges with mouthwatering snacks. The staff are extremely efficient, professional and friendly. Their service is of a very high standard. The bedrooms are very comfortable and very clean, and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the Grange Holborn and their efficiency. I was impressed by the hotel staff's promptness when addressing problems in my room and to my needs. I also felt welcomed by the staff as they were easy to approach and talk with. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again.

Bad cleaning of the room. Did you get out of soap and shampoo? Two days without minibar refills should we drink tapwater.

Good location Straight from Heathrow to Holborn walk one block and you`re there.Clean well run close to Trafalgar and Piccadilly.Enjoyed our 6 floor large room with view to Southhampton Row.Big minus.No WI-FI at all in room and only on request in lobby. Etter å ha lest flere anmeldelser, her på hotels.com, falt valget på Grange Holborn. Jeg reiste med min datter på 11 år og skulle utforske London. Så det ble slitsomme dager. Da var det fantastisk å komme tilbake på hotellet å bli tatt imot av personalet. De tak seg tid til å snakke med min datter og var veldig hjelpsomme med å forklare oss hvor vi […] burde gå. Printet ut kart for oss og merket tydelig veien. Sengene var og gode å ligge i. Jeg kan anbefale dette hotellet. :) Lees meer

Personale var søde men startede med at få værelse med en lille seng til to. Blev byttet dagen efter. Begge små værelser. Conserge manglede uddannelse men brugte gerne tid på os. Morgenmad var incl. for normale gæster mange pund for os. Hotellet glemte hver dag at informere resturant derom. Som gav besværd hver morgen. Pool var ca. 0,8 m til 1,0 m dyb […] og der skulle udfyldes et juridisk dokument om ens helbreds tilstand samt data reseptionen havde fået. Lækkert værelse - skønt med bad i kælderen og få slappet af - med sine ømme ben - efter flere timer rundt i London. God stemning på hotellet.

Хороший отель, останавливался дважды, достойная четверка, приятно удивляла смена кремов и шампуней на новые типы, все ок.

Stort dubbelrum för att vara London. Litet badrum men fräscht och rent. Måste betala för internet om man vill ha mer än 30 minuter åt gången. Snålt och drar ner betyget! Kort promenad till Holborn underground station. Nära till prisvärda frukostställen runt hotellet.

L'accueil et le personnel de l'hôtel sont très agréables. Les concierges très serviables et avenants. L'hôtel situé à deux pas du métro permet de quadriller très facilement et très rapidement tous les quartiers. Sa situation est également intéressante car à 5 minutes du British Museum. Un séjour très agréable que je peux recommander
