Millwood Inn And Suites in Millbrae

I read previous reviews and chose this hotel. It was easy to find and close to SFO, BART, and the room was clean and comfortable. They also said the traffic could be noisy and it was, but this wasn't a problem for a short stay. I would stay there again. Good price for area.

Really wasn't too sure due to it being a motel... Read the reviews and most were very happy with stay. I was a good surprise. Great location to BART and SFO airport. Rooms were nicely decorated, parking was free, and breakfast was plenty. We will keep this in mind on next trip back through Bay Area!

Stayed one night on a recent business trip. This is a well-renovated older motel. They've gone to great lengths to appoint the rooms more along the lines of a 3+-star hotel, bed was fine, very large selection of cable TV channels (including movie channels). Consistently a great choice when arriving on a late flight for work. The staff is always accommodating, the rooms are clean, and the neighborhood has great options for dinner if you are willing to walk a block or two.

My wife's flight was 6am and mine closer to lunch, so this place worked out well for Sunday night stay. The place is clean and convenient. They, clearly, put a lot of effort into to sprucing the place up recently. There is a good full breakfast in the morning and I had plenty of desk-space to hop on their free Internet to get some work done in the morning. Stayed here overnight to catch a flight at SFO in the morning. Overall it was good with a comfortable and clean room. Could hear the noisy neighbors though, which at times was a little annoying but not a big deal as I was still able to sleep. Check in and out was super easy. Friendly staff. They have done a wonderful job updating an older property. It is my favorite economical choice when staying close to SFO!

Everything inside was clean and new. Looks like an old motel, but has been completely re-done. Very nice. Would definitely use for business trips.

Sushi across the street is convenient but no frills. Everything else is a little walk, including the BART. They were replacing the heating units which was promising. Rooms were cute, but small. Staff was excellent.

This Hotel was very nice for the price and location. Work out room has good machines, bed was comfy and staff was pleasant. I would stay here again when I visit this area. Close to airport and freeways too.

For 7 am flight from SFO, I picked up the nearest hotel by airport. I could park car in front of the room and it is very convenient. We could not enjoy free breakfast, provided from 6 am, instead, could use microwave in the room.

Nice, clean room. Good breakfast for the money. Very good and kind service. Shuttle to the airport a plus. Disliked nonetheless that in the rooms a lot of noise from other rooms is heard, especially from the ones above. Other than that, a lovely hotel at a lovely place. Drove south into a nice area in Millbrae for a great Italian dinner owned by an Italian family. Free shuttle provided by the motel was an added plus.

This hotel is a jewel of comfort and convenience at an affordable price. Although we left our room at different times each day, the room was always clean and ready when we returned. The breakfast buffet is a good value. The wi-fi internet service worked without a hitch all the time. Great little hotel - looks to be a converted motel from days past but everything has been remodeled very nicely. We had a room with 2 double beds and both were completed with fluffy comforters & tons of pillows. Spacious enough bath that even had a phone in it (my 4 year old got a kick out of that!). The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. There is a free hotel shuttle and breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was the shower but that wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

The double deluxe room was very nice, updated but a bit tight. We did not want to drive into SF and booked the Millwood Inn as it was close to BART...a mile walk (20 mins) but the weather was perfect in mid-September.There is ample parking at the station if one chooses to drive.

We were just looking for a place near the airport for overnight, that had a shuttle service to bring us back to the hotel the night before and take us to the airport in the morning. We stayed here one night before our flight out of San Francisco airport. The room was clean and had a flat screen tv, microwave and refrigerator, however apparently housekeeping didn't check the microwave after the last guest, because there was a very stinky container of food sitting in it. The hotel reminds me of the old fashioned motels where all […] the rooms open to the parking lot. There are two floors and we were on the first floor. I didn't see any elevator, so if that is a concern, then make sure you request a room on the ground level. I also did not see any vending machines of any sort, which I thought was odd. If you are planning on printing your boarding pass, they have a rather complicated system. There is a complimentary computer in the lobby and there is a printer hooked up to it, but you cannot print directly to the printer. You have to send your boarding pass to your email and then forward it to a third party website and then they email you a code that you have to enter on the printer in order to get it to print. It was time consuming and it took me like 20 minutes to get the thing to print. They do have a complimentary breakfast that was sufficient and it is a quick drive to the airport, so all in all, it met our needs. Lees meer

The room is a little small, but is impeccably clean. The owners paid attention to detail when decorating this hotel and the rooms; the rooms are welcoming and comfortable. Booked this when I had to extend my stay one night and Travelodge wanted $199 for an extra night...wish I found this earlier. The room was very nice and the most comfortable chairs I have ever seen in a hotel room. The extremely comfortable bedding was excellent w/comforter instead of a cheap blanket. The decor was very nice and not what your typical hotel room looks like...it was decorated (as opposed to a rectangle with a bed and chair in it). The staff was beyond nice and went out of their way. There's a Japanese restaurant across the street and a half block away is a nice Chinese restaurant (recommend...more traditional). There is a free shuttle to and from (starts at 4:05 AM, which I used) the airport. The only caveat may be that you can easily hear people stomping around but no noise after reasonable hours (2nd floor may be better...just stairs). Bottom line, I would stay here again and would recommend this, especially if you need/want something close to the airport. Then, they offered us a larger room for the same price for that first night, but we had to switch rooms the next morning. Had dirty towels in the new room. OK, so it doesn't have a restaurant and the sound proofing could be better, but this page is very clean, well mintained, an great value. The rooms look really nice, using good quality materials and ultra clean. The free breakfast is also very good. Would certainly recommend for anyone needing a place to stay near SFO airport.

The satellite TV was a bit confusing. It would have been nice to include some kind of brief instruction manual for the purpose of chnging channels, using the DVD player, etc. The breakfast buffet was superb.

IT IS LOCATED IN MILLBRAE AREA AND IT HAS A FREE PARKING LOT. CLOSE FROM THE AIRPORT BUT COMPARE TO THE PRICE, I RATHER RECOMMAND TO STAY AT HOTEL INSTEAD.
