HENLEY HOUSE HOTEL in Londen

Our room was in the basement and badly in need of refurbishment. A very small old tv which stood on a stand on the floor. to open and close the blind we had to stand on a chair. When we arrived a frosty receptionist greeted us, we told the receptionist we needed a bulb in the bedside light which the fitting was falling of the wall. Twice we asked for […] the bulb to be replaced and it was not until the next morning when a lovely girl was on the reception it was fixed right away when we asked and the fitting was fixed also. the fire exit near our room had mattresses against the wall and old tv's and other stuff cluttered around. The Henley House Hotel is in a convenient location very close to one of the Earls Court tube exits. There are fast food restaurants and cafes very close by, along with an M&S Simply Food, so getting reasonably priced food and drink is no problem. The neighbourhood is pretty, with a garden across the street and lots of gardens in the area. There isn't […] much car traffic, however, from the hotel you can hear the trains. I don't think there is air conditioning, so if it's hot out, all we had was a freestanding fan and a window that opened (though that was fine for the temperature when we stayed there). The breakfast pastries were wonderful, French style, and the coffee very tasty. The fruit was tinned, though. The staff were pleasant. Lees meer

We really enjoyed staying here. The location was great and the rooms were nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.
