Leuk hotel overal dichtbij alles op loopafstand zelfs met 2 kids van 10 en 13! Parkeer gelegenheid is minder al hadden wij geluk en hadden een mooi gratis plekje. Super 3 dagen gehad.

Dit hotel bevindt zich op de ideale plek in Berlijn. Je stapt de deur uit en je bent in DE winkelstraat van Berlijn, restaurants zijn er volop in de buurt en je kunt heerlijk (en goedkoop) ontbijten of een broodje halen bij back WERK. We hebben in het hotel daarom niet ontbeten, en ook verder niet gegeten, en dat geldt volgens mij voor veel gasten. Binnen 15 minuten ben je te voet bij de Brandenburger Tor, en de rivier de Spree is dichtbij. Ook de U- of S-Bahn is bij het hotel. Handig!! Dit hotel is anders dan andere hotels, je kijkt namelijk direct vanuit je hotelkamer in de lobby. Kamers zijn stil, je hoort wel de airco. Jammer was dat er maar een paar zenders waren op de televisie. Doordat het hotel Spaans is, zijn er veel Spanjaarden in het hotel, en bijvoorbeeld weinig Nederlanders. Het hotelpersoneel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik (en mijn dochter van 8 jaar) zouden er een volgende keer zo weer naar toe gaan.

Wij kregen een suite, erg ruim, de kinderen (17 en 16) lagen wel op een opklapbed in de huiskamer, maar het was wel veel gezelliger dan dat we 2 kamers hadden gekregen, en erg ruim. Alles schoon, ze waren erg vriendelijk, makkelijk dat je aan de balie gewoon een welcome card voor het openbaar vervoer kan kopen, de skybar is prachtig, Je bent snel in de stad met de tram, neem niet m8 dan kom je niet op centrale plaats uit, de Norma aan de overkant is makkelijk voor boodschappen. Het ontbijtbuffet is heel uitgebreid en erg lekker, werd steeds aangevuld, op zondag tot 13.00u! Wij konden er tot 's avonds op teren!

Mooi hotel, prima ontbijt, wel wat omgevingslawaai (voorzijde van de weg) en achterzijde van de trein. Met de ramen dicht was al het lawaai weg. Oordopjes beter alternatief dan werd het niet te warm op de kamer. Maar wat gezegd moet worden het was een prachtig hotel !!!

I recently stayed at the Berlin Berlin. I am very satisfied. Staff was very helpful and corteous. Location is not perfect but you can still walk to many of the city atractions. I strongly recommend this hotel for family and business.
"Great Location, we had a great time"
This was our first visit to Berlin (with my wife Carolina and our little baby Andy), we stayed there for 3 days and 3 nights and the hotel has a very good location. Right across the street you can take any of the Sightseeing City Tour double deck buses, or should you prefer you can walk a few miles from the hotel to most of the major and most popular […] attractions and places to visit. We actually walked from the hotel to the Berlin Zoo, the Victoria Statue, Kufurtersdamm and Potsdammer Platz.. Front Desk staff is very friendly and gentle. We only needed to ask direction by the time of our departure and they were very kind explaining us how to get to the airport (without taking a taxi cab) The room was nice and it was always clean and in great conditions. Only minor complian would be the bed pillows: they were too soft, but usually most of the people liked them that way. In my case I find it hard to sleep with such a soft pillow (awesome for those who like it like that). We did not spend too much time at the hotel; due to the short of our trip we practically left around 10 am and get back late at night. Make sure to have a map and you would not get lost. Nice clean hotel within walking distance to shopping, eating, train and the Berlin Zoo. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

Hotel is modern and very clean. Decor both in the lobby and inside the room is modern but overall a bit cold. Some details are somewhat schizophrenic as if management can't decide whether to make them traditional or modern. Staff is very helpful and nice, but they can smile a bit more. We get a very large room facing the back, which makes it a bit quieter, […] but the bathroom lacks a bathtub, which doesn't seem to be a standard item in Central Europe. Furniture in the room rather worn and old (Couch showed tear on cushion). Bus stop right in front of hotel makes it very convenient, but U Bahn is a block away. Breakfast buffet is available in the hotel restaurant but very overpriced. Still overall a good hotel. Lees meer

"Nice Hotel"
The hotel is located in a business area and there aren't that many restaurants close by, but within a 10-20 min you can walk to a shopping center where you will find places to eat. The room was good for European standards. The lobby is large with a lounge and a cool spot to relax. Also, the breakfast is large and has a good variety.
We arrived early morning and the staff was able to get us room. Although it was a down grade from the room reserved, they add complimentary breakfast for two the entire stay. The room was ok, a little smaller then what we are used to, but the breakfast was delicious. WIFI was horrible in the room, it kept dropping connection. Overall the stay was good. Where we did enjoy our stay in the hotel and the convienience of the No.100 bus and the underground was great,but the cost of the breakfast at €21 is more than you will pay for Dinner on the high street. Notwithstanding I would still recommend the hotel for its frinndly staff. And we did have breakfast on two mornings for convienience at a total cost […] of €84 but it was a very good fulfilling meal. "Clean, large room"
This is a very acceptable hotel. The room we had was clean, large and well-equipped. The front desk was helpful. Good restaurants within walking distance. Only low point was the inability of the staff to facilitate my continuous use (paid) of the internet. For some reason, each time I wanted to use it, I had to engage in phone calls to the front desk […] and then trudge down there. I gave up on the second day. Hotel is cool and hip just like Berlin. Well located, 5min walk to subway, 2min walk to bus stop. Take bus 100 downtown and you'll pass all the major sights! this is a great hotel - very clean, very nice decoration. it is in a more quiet area. so it is not loud and busy as those on the main streets where all the activities are happening. the restaurants, cafes, and bakeries in the areas are excellent. getting around is easy because the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. or if you want use u- or s-lines, […] it is a short walk to the stations. Very nice hotel, and overall we enjoyed our 4 night stay. The venue would be especially great if you were hosting an event, since they have fantastic conference spaces. During our stay, we were staying in a more budget part of the hotel (or so we assumed, due to the price) and keeping this in mind, we were confused when some of the services that we […] thought would be provided with the room rate were not. The wifi internet access was the most frustrating. We had assumed that internet would be free of charge (like it is in the rest of Berlin, it seems!) but we were asked to pay an exuberant amount for it. "Different kind of hotel"
I stayed in a few hotels, all similar standard, on a recent trip to Berlin/Dresden. This one stands out because of its slightly funky colouring, mainly in the lobby and open and bright bar area. Slight negatives: corridors that seem really long, similar policy to Internet access to the other hotels (a fairly pricey extra).

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helped us with all our questions. The rooms were big and comfortable and I really enjoyed the music channels on the TV (being an english speaking person they were the only channels we understood). The 30 minutes free internet in the room was great and the safe was very useful. The hotel […] is located a little away from the centre of the city but not more than a 10 euro cab ride. 25 min from airport Berlin Tegel Very clean rooms. even though room was next to main street, it was no problem to sleep. --> good acustic insolation. Shortcomings: Breakfast not included in room price and with 21 EUR expensive. We went for breakfast to some cafes. No free internet.

we stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and enjoyed the size of our room (superior), the cleaniness, location, and service. The only drowbacks are the mattress which was a bit too soft for us and also the high cost of the buffet breakfast (21 euros). In general, the hotel is well worth the money and if we come back to Berlin we'll be happy to stay there […] again, and will be happy to recommend it to others. Lees meer

This is an excellent hotel and is near enough to walk to a lot of the main attractions in Berlin. Upon our arrival the staff were very welcoming and we were upgraded to a business room which was great. Lovely hotel, great location - only downside is breakfast is not included in the cost of the room and if you want breakfast its quite alot extra. In saying that there are lots of eateries in the area where you can get a wide choice of food for next to nothing.

Hotel Berlin, Berlin is in a quite neighbourhood about 10 mins walk from the nearest underground stop Nollendorf Platz The Hotel is modern, spacious and clean and staff are extremely helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel as breakfast was expensive at 21 euros each so we found cafes nearby where we could sit outside and people watch. Some nice restaurants […] nearby include Edd's Thai, a lovely Italian (can't remember the name) on the way to Edd's Thai and a German restaurant called Ambrosia right near the hotel. Lees meer

Stayed at Hotel Berlin from Thursday till Sunday. Thurs / Friday we did most of our touring around, Sightseeing bus tour as on Saturday it was extreamly busy, even in March. We had a Superior room on the 6th floor. The room would be the equivelent of any other classic room in a 4 star hotel that we have stayed in. No bathroom extras, shower cap, body […] lotion. Container on the wall containing a combination of shower/bath/ shampoo. The hotel is in a good location and would stay again at the Hotel Berlin. Lees meer

"A nice hotel, nice location, and in a fair price"
I've never heard of a hotel that does'nt have a double blanket... We ordered a double bed, and it was annoying enough for me and my wife to sleep in seperate beds (of course we moved the 2 twin beds closest as possible, but still felt the gap between...), so at least we expected to feel like we're sleeping together in our anniversary we celebrated in […] this holiday... They told us they don't have double blankets even for those who got double beds... strage, ah? But besides that, the hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are big and comfortable. The crew is formal and not too friendly, but polite and helpful. The location is good: 5 minutes walking from an underground station and busses (just ignore the prostitutes that standing there at night... hehe) Lees meer

The room and hotel were great. We stayed there 8 nights and had no problems. They cleaned the room really well each day and the hotel staff was nice. The location is great. Easy bus ride from the airport to the hotel. (only one transfer at the Zoo). Bus route 100 stops right in front of the hotel and goes to many of the tourist areas. "Great Hotel"
We stayed here for four nights and it was great. Right by the bus stop and not too far from the U-ban station. The room was nice and the staff were friendly. Although the breakfast was way too expensive (19euro for a buffet) and they only had a shampoo/ body wash/ hand wash all in one thing on the wall. I'd stay here again, but eat else where.

"Convenenient location, OK rooms"
We stayed in the Hotel Berlin, Berlin for two nights in October 2010. The hotel is conveniently located. A short walk to U-Bahn and Zoo Station is also within walking distance. We reserved a non-smoking room but none were available at our arrival. The reception was apologetic, but I would not have booked here had I known I would have a smoking room. […] So this is a fairly serious mistake from my point of view. The hotel breakfast buffet was so incredibly expensive that I didn't try it. We were a little surprised that this was considered a 4-star hotel, as the rooms were large but uninspired. The bathroom offered only a pump of generic hand/body/shampoo soap, for example.
