Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.

Het verblijf in het hotel was zeer aangenaam. De kamer was op de 18de verdieping en lag aan een rustige straat. Hierdoor hadden we nauwelijks last van verkeersgeluiden. De kamer was lekker ruim en het straalde rust en luxe uit. De turn-over service is echt geweldig. Bij terugkomst op je kamer is je bed netjes opgemaakt, de gordijnen dicht en de verlichting brand romantisch. Ook staat er een relaxed rustig jazz muziekje op. We hadden een bad met uitzicht op het empire state building. Helaas was het zwembad met de bad nog niet open. De Spa zag er overigens schoon en heel erg lux uit. Guest service en maintenance lossen problemen snel en goed op (verstopt toilett). De doorman / belman service is ook erg prettig. De mensen hadden leuke tips, regelde heel vlot taxi's en passen prima op je bagage of zorgen dat deze naar de kamer gebracht wordt. Wat ik jammer vind aan dit hotel is dat alle extra diensten heel erg kostbaar zijn. Wifi op de kamer moet eigenlijk een gratis dienst zijn. In de lobby was Wifi 2 uur gratis en als je dicht bij het raam gaat zitten heb je de wifi van de starbucks aan de overkant. Ook een ontbijt op de kamer is erg kostbaar maar wel een onvergetelijke ervaring. Het Hotel staat in de omgeving SoHo. SoHo heeft gelukkig voldoende leuke restaurantjes en ontbijt gelegenheden in de buurt.
Ligging.
Hilton Times Square ligt in het centrum van New York, op loopafstand van Wassenbeeldenmuseum Madame Tussauds, Times Square en Broadway. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Rockefeller Center en Empire State Building.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 4 sterren zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, een vergader-/conferentieruimte en een secretariaat. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, evenementencatering en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, meertalig personeel en een cadeaushop of kiosk. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt.
Hotelkamers.
Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. Hilton Times Square heeft 460 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een cd-speler en kluisjes in de kamer (ook geschikt voor laptops). Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet, een videogameconsole en betaalfilms. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau, een gratis weekkrant en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Een snelle draadloze internetverbinding is bij betaling van een toeslag beschikbaar. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met luxe beddengoed. Elke kamer is voorzien van een minibar met een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat. Elke badkamer is voorzien van kamerjassen, designer toiletartikelen, make-up-/scheerspiegels en een haardroger. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een kluisje op de kamer en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals hypo-allergeen beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.

Room Service - Available morning till late evening.
Hilton Times Square's fitness center is open 24 hours a day. You can visit the front desk to pick up a discount pass to the New York Sports Club, across the street.

De West Coast heeft dan wel Hollywood; maar de lampen van Broadway schijnen net zo helder en vele televisieacteurs komen naar de Great White Way om aan hun reputatie te werken. Tot de bezienswaardigheden in de regio behoren Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall en het Museum of Modern Art. De prachtige St. Patrick's Cathedral neemt een blok tussen Fifth en 50th in beslag. Op het ooit verwaarloosde Times Square vind je nu ABC, MTV en NASDAQ.

"Oasis on 42nd Streey"
The Hilton on 42nd Street was kind of a shock. The entrance could easily be missed, wedged between an Applebee's and a sporting goods store. It's clean & sleek and leads to very fast & efficient elevators up to the lovely 22nd floor lobby, complete with a grand bar and overlooking the huge gold hand holding up the Mme. Tussaud's sign. The staff behind […] the desk and the bell captains were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms were quite large for midtown. We went with a friend and both rooms on either side of the hotel had spectacular views. The beds were super comfortable and had some of the nicest pillows we've ever found in a hotel. The rooms were immaculate and stayed so for our whole stay. The location is perfect for a theater weekend. You're just steps from all the big Broadway theaters and scores of restaurants. You're also literally just a few steps from the subway. All in all a great place to stay. Thanks for a wonderful time. Lees meer

The location of this hotel couldn't have been better. Spectacular views from the restaurant and rooms facing south. The price was unbeatable and the room was very clean. I would definitely recommend and will be staying there again when the opportunity comes along.

Great hotel close to times square, subway stations and the port authority. Only down side was that many of the TV channels were not working but your not there to watch tv anyways.Front desk was helpful and courteous.

I took my 8 year old grandson with me on this trip. We were literally on top of everything that was on our "must see" list. Spider Man and Mary Poppins were right there. The concierge was terrific. She anwered all of our questions and her suggestions were all taken with very successful outcomes. The hotel was safe, extremely clean, friendly staff and […] so much more. "The Hilton- Times Square"
It was my first trip to NYC, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel staff was friendly and very accomodating. The view of Times Square was spectacular!!! It was so nice to be right in the middle of everything.

Hilton Times Square is in the best location for all the best tourist attractions and despite being in the heart of Times Square is very quiet inside. Convenience to subway allows you to easily get to Battery Park, 9/11 Memorial, Little Italy, Greenwich Village, etc. We walked to Rockefeller Center, saw a show at the Barrymore Theater and shopped on […] 5th Ave. Would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to NYC. "ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO STAY IN NYC"
What a fabulous place! I have stayed all over in NYC and this hotel is at the top of my list, Every employee is the nicest at any hotel I have ever stayed at - can't do enough for you. Most rooms have an unobstrucde view of Manhattan. Lobby is beautiful & comfortable. Sitting area, bar & dining all flow together for a very comfortable experience. The […] location cant be beat. At the base of the hotel is every food, entertainment and nigthlife experince you need, with out having to take a cab. Times Square is only steps away. "Spacious room and Outstanding friendly staff"
I was VERY happy with my stay at this hotel. My room (which was a standard room, not a suite or deluxe or anything of the sort) was extremely spacious (by Manhattan standards) and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was truly outstanding. I tend to be a demanding hotel guest, and this one met with all of my expectations (though I never ordered […] room service, so I don't know what that would have been like). The bathroom could have been a bit bigger with a bigger tub, but that is the case in 90% of hotels. Location is good (right on 42nd St. just off of Times Square), if you like the bright lights and busy streets of the Big Apple. The room, however, was entirely silent. "Not typical Hilton quality."
Our heat heat did not work. The tiles in the bathroom work old and chipped. The common area side tables were left dirty with bar glasses. The seating upholstery needed a professional steam cleaning. not enough seating for lobby guests. The most annoying getting aggressively solicited two times to participate in a time share in the lobby! Then choosing […] to sit in the lobby listening to the same folks soliciting other patrons so loudly we couldn't even stay focused on the conversation with our travel friends. Loud and obnoxious! "Hilton Times Square"
The hotel was in a nice location for all the must see places. Only there for one night but the accomodations were nice and the room was clean. A lot of great places to shop and eat within walking distance.

Our overall stay was satisfying, the service was excellent, and the hotel was clean and updated. My only complaint is that the front of the hotel is very inaccessible (and hard to see), and the loading and unloading area in the back is awkward. You feel like you have to jump out of the way of oncoming traffic just to unload your vehicle.

"First visit"
The hotel was under construction, but that didn't affect the stay. Everyone was polite and very helpfully. It was our first time staying in the city, I choose the hotel because of the location, near everything. We would stay there on our next visit and would recommend it to others.

"Hotel comfort and friendliness"
The Hilton Times Square was convenient to everything. The hotel staff was very helpful and so polite. Although under construction, the hotel was clean and valet parking rates were reasonable. This was our first trip to NYC and so far the best. Next time we are in NYC we will definitely stay at the Hilton Times Square.

The location was the best..right near all trains for west side. Also in the heart of times square. My stepson was so excited to step out into the lights all hours of the day. The rooms were very clean and had great service staff..

Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and location was excellent. Of course you pay for it but why not, its safe, convenient, good size rooms and you are paying for the name. I would stay their again. Recommend without reservation.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel is well-located on the southeastern edge of Times Square. Our room was on a somewhat lower level (26th floor...I believe the 23rd is the lowest), but we were never disturbed by city noise and still had a decent view. The subway is only steps away and, naturally, taxis are plentiful here any time of day or night. […] There's nothing spectacular about the bar/lounge area, but nothing to complain about either. "many times to NYC - best stay"
We have been to NYC many times and stayed at a wide variety of hotels, but we've stayed twice now at the Hilton Times Square and been very happy both times. The room was always clean and spacious and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had our 9 year old with us and had room service for breakfast each day. They brought us free pastries […] for our 9 year old each time! So nice! Will stay here again and again. Lees meer

"Great Hotel in the Heart of Times Square"
Wow! Got a great rate during March of 2012 and loved finally staying on 42nd Street. This is an interesting Hotel with the main lobby on the 15th floor. There is a lovely bar with great views and comfy places to sit. My room was awesome with a great view of 41st Street and the surrounding high rises. Loved the gym with a few treadmills (with a view!) […] or TV's for those that watch the news and workout. They even had weights and a few options for those needing a full workout. I loved how convenient this hotel was to everything NYC has to offer. Usually the rate is a little out of my range.. but consider me now spoiled having spent a few days at the Hilton! Lees meer
