The Iroquois in New York

Perfect hotel, nette kamers met super bedden! Keurig sanitair met goede bad/douche combi. Geen grote kamers, heb je ook niet nodig. Na het uitchecken heb je de mogelijkheid om nog te douchen en om te kleden in de fitness ruimte (met sauna) voor je terugvliegt. Ontbijten doe je 3 panden verder bij een kleine Diner, geweldige pancakes met spek/worstjes […] en stroop. (kan ook in het hotel) Personeel is uiterst behulpzaam, regelen tickets voor trips door NY die eigenlijk al vol zitten. Taxiservice, limo service etc. Times Square, 2 straten verder. 5th Avenue, aan het einde van de straat. Grand Central Station, 10 min lopen. Rockefeller Center, 10 min. lopen. Good hotel which is very close to times square, excellent for shopping and other. The rooms are clean, the service is good. Free dvd's to watch when you are bored. However i must say that the sound of airco at nights is very very annoying.. It is like you are traveling with an airplane. Avoid the 12th floor if you care about WIFI. Prima, hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Redelijk kleine, maar goed verzorgde kamer. Lekkere bedden. Ligging is perfect. Alleen 6th Av oversteken en je staat op Time Sqaire.

Perfect hotel op (korte) loopafstand van Times Square en 5th Avenue. Voor de Shopper perfect omdat je steeds je nieuw gekochte spullen even in je kamer kunt leggen om vervolgens verder te gaan. Alle theaters zijn op loopafstand en er zijn ook restaurantjes en barretjes in de directe omgeving. Aanrader is het cafe op Rockefeller centre, perfect om na […] het shoppen een cocktail te drinken. Metro's zijn ook vlakbij, Bryant Park 42nd Street is de dichts bijzijnde, nog geen 5 minuutjes. Hebben geen ontbijt in het hotel genomen maar gingen naar Pret a Manger bij Bryant Park , heerlijke Koffie en verse broodjes en fruit etc. Het Hotel zelf is heerlijk rustig, hadden een kamer waar je echt geen straat geluid had. It has the feel and attention to detail of a boutique hotel. The location is superb. Staff very friendly and attentive. Comfortable bed, newly redone bathroom, very clean. Our room was a little on the small side, but it is NY.

Everything was very good about this hotel. Our room was very nice but kind of small. Biggest drawback was that our only window faced a brick wall. it was difficult to even tell what the weather was like outside. Would stay again, but request a different room.

I would definately consider stayinghere again.

We loved staying at the Hotel Iroquois. It was in a fantastic location, close to Times Square and 5th avenue for shopping. The hotel in itself was quiet and the room was amazing. Other reviews had said that the room was small, but we had no problems, even with lots of luggage. The staff were fantastic and so helpful! We were on our honeymoon and they […] went out of their way to make it special for us. They helped us out with advice for meals, maps to the city and telling us the best way to get around. I wish I could have stayed many more days. A lovely boutique hotel just off of Times Square - quiet and fabulous staff. The rooms are small, but very comfortable and recently updated. I would highly recommend this hotel. The price was terrific for NYC.

The hotel staff was very friendly. We got a lovely room upgrade, view with a bay window!

Block and a half from Times Square. Reasonable walk to theaters, to 30 Rock, to 5th Avenue stores. Wonderful bathroom products (Molton Brown). Small hotel with helpful service. Great Concierge. French restaurant is good, but pricey. Bar is nice, but popular. Need reservations for the bar usually. Rooms are quite small, but it's NYC. Taxis typically […] easy to get. Lees meer

It was a nice hotel. Not of the standard I have come to expect of the small hotels of the world but a comfortable place to spend the evenings. There is not much public space for sitting/chatting with colleagues but free printing and computers to access in case of need. Overall a strong good.

Service from bar tender in the back bar was rude.

Small but very well situated. The service was very good , rooms small but comfortable & clean. The had one elevator but it was large and fast. I will stay there again. The location was great and near my favorite Greek restaurant

convenient location--walkabe to grand central station, times square, and theatre district. very friendly staff my only complaint was the noisy plumbing, and small rooms--but bed was very comfortable. Ive heard that new york rooms were small, this one was!!! but still very comfortable for 2 people

The Iroquois Hotel - located in the heart of the theater district. Great location, clean, modern rooms, excellent service. I will stay there again when I return to New York.

The elevator was being repaired and the room was very noisy, so the staff relocated us to a higher floor, and was most solicitous.

My mum and i loved this hotel. It was within close walking distance to everything, we didnt get a taxi anywhere. The hotel itself was just perfect, clean, tidy, the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We coulod not praise this hotel enough. the only (very small downside) was that the rooms were very hot and the air con didnt seem to […] work, i cant imagine what this would be like in the summer months as it was pretty hot in the winter. I didnt complain about the air con but im am positive that if i had that the hotel would have moved us. We had a perfect stay in NY and would go back to this lovely hotelo again and again. Lees meer

Excellent hotel in a great location with fantastic service. Slight downside was that our room was close to an air conditioning unit outside and at times it could be quite noisy.

This was our fist time at the Iroquios and we will definitely be back! It is a wonderful boutique hotel. It had everything you could ever want. The room was nice, a little small but well decorated. The bathroom was the nicest hotel bathroom that I EVER seen! We loved it! Both the Lantern's Keep and the Triomphe were great. We had breakfast in the Triomphe […] twice and it was excellent. The location of this hotel is perfect! We have stayed in the city many times but this spot is just perfect, close to Times Square yet far enough away to be a workd apart. We will be back! Lees meer

Loved this quaint hotel, location is excellent for theatre, shopping, Rockefeller Center, restaurants, etc. Rooms are a little small, but typical of a small hotel in NYC. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small, intimate French restaurant and a cozy bar, both charming and delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at the Iroquois. I highly recommend staying here. The service was excellent and location was perfect for everything you might want to do in manhattan. The room was incredibly comfortable and cozy. I do think however if we had brought our toddler it would have been a tight squeeze with a crib set up. I was in town for a combo business/pleasure trip from Feb 10 - 14, 2012 and after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures, I was looking forward to a stay at the Iroquois. Sadly, I was quite disappointed. Although I don't mind staying in older hotels in NY, this one definitely seemed like it had not been very updated at all, especially for the […] price. My main issues: Lighting was VERY poor in my one-bedroom suite. If there is a spot for an overhead light (which there was), there should be an overhead light. I felt like I was groping around in the dark my entire stay The closet was incredibly small. I expect more when I pay the price of a suite The first couple of days, the maid left SEVERAL tip envelopes around the suite, and then did it again for turndown service. I felt this was overkill and made me not want to tip at all. Isn't standard procedure to tip when leaving, not throughout entire stay? It made me nervous that, if I wasn't tipping throughout, what would happen? I have stayed in many high-end hotels and found this behavior disturbing. Noisy, though I know the hotel can't help that. I was on the 5th floor. On a positive note, the doorman always had a smaile and was very helpful. I think that's the only thing I can say about this hotel that was above average. A midwinter sale gave me the chance to stay at this wonderful hotel, with its great cocktail bar and yummy restaurant. Surprisingly spacious suite, fairly quiet for the area, and conveniently located midtown location.

A better overall experience cannot be had in NYC than staying at The Iroquois hotel. Their entire staff gets the highest marks possible for their genuine friendliness, helpfullness, and attention to detail. The location is extremely convenient to almost everything a person could possibly want or need to do while in Manhattan.

Our stay at the Iroquois was most enjoyable.

We have never stayed here before having stayed at a number of other hotels in the area. I do like to stay at the Luxury Small Hotels of the world so was excite to try the Iroquois. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. I was quite disappointed by the layout and size of our room. Two people could barely be in the same room together it was that tight. […] I wish I had looked at another room as this is the only thing preventing me from absolutely raving about the hotel. Great location, close to everything, yet 44th street is not loud at night despite its location close to Times Square. The concierges were extremely helpful with reservations, restaurant recommendations, etc. and very friendly adn unpretentious. Everyone was very courteous and professional. My only observation is that rooms are somewaht small for a 4 […] star hotel, they need to be at least 20% larger. Also, the elevators are super-slow. However, the hotel is quiet and it feels "european", unlike the mamooth towers of Times Square or even Central Park South. One caution: Triomphe restaurant prices are sky-high, no need to go there with so many great options close-by. I would definitely stay there again, my stay was flwaless and I am particulary grateful to the front desk staff for accomodating my room preference and switching me to a higher floor, and to both Concierges ( Vanessa and Allan) who were very solicitous and recommended great places to eat in various neighbourhoods that I could never have found on Tripadvisor, Zagat or other guides and wre not "touristy" ripoffs, they are obviously extremely knowledgeable and it was apparent that they really like their jobs. We stayed overnight for a quick getaway for the holiday. The hotel was clean and upscale. The service was terrific and the staff was accommodating to our 5 year old daughter. Thank you so much!

We stayed the weekend before Christmas, NY was a madhouse ( in a good way) but the staff were cool, calm, collected and very professional. The concierge was phenominal, assisted in getting tickets to Warhorse that Saturday. Not inexpensive, but hey, it's NY. Physically well appointed, no street noise.

The hotel is situated in the heart of all the sights. It has the most comfortable beds. We checked in at 10:30 and were told our room was ready. This was a real plus so we could freshen up before setting out for the day.
