Omdat wij op doorreis waren vonden wij lokatie buiten Salt Lake City niet erg. Mocht je echter echt voor de stad Salt Lake City komen dan moet je er rekening mee houden dat je toch ca 15-20 min aan het rijden bent (buiten spits)

We moesten de huurauto terugbrengen, werd er meteen een taxi voor ons geregeld. Die kwam niet opdagen dus wij gebeld, excuses, kwam er binnen 10min aan en dat was wel zo. In het hotel nog eens excuses, heel vriendelijk.

Ontbijt was goed, maar niet heel uitgebreid en jammer dat ze alleen een binnenzwembad hebben en geen buitenzwembad. Het hotel ligt in een straat met andere hotels en restaurants. Een aanrader is om in het restaurant aan de overkant van het hotel te gaan eten, golden corral. Hier kan je onbeperkt eten van een zeer ruim en heerlijk buffet voor 10 dollar pp inclusief drank.

Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 16 jul, 2012Uitstekend verblijf Maar let op:. De standaard kamer ( 2 tweepersoonsbedden) was ongeschikt voor 5pers. (2 volw 3 kids)Een extra bed paste er gewoon niet bij!!! Op het ikoontje op de website staat dat het kan maar dat is niet zo! We moesten bijbetalen en kregen toen een mooie geschikte kamer. De laatste beschikbare kamer voor 5 personen. Fijn zwembad. 5 minuten lopen van temple square en van twee mooie shoppingmalls. Camper 27-30ft kon op parkeerterrein staan. Hele dag door heerlijke coffee en chocomel gratis in de lobby. Ontbijt stelt niet zoveel voor, maar uitstekend voor de prijs. . Beste expedia bewerk deze beoordeling als jullie willen,en laat dit onderste deel weg, maar doe aub wat aan dit vaker voorkomende misverstand! Ditzelfde probleem hebben we nu in denver in het comfort inn downtown hotel. Hier is geen goede oplossing voor. wij vinden het bedrag teveel om bij te betalen voor een upgrade. Dus we gaan niet zo'n fijne nacht tegemoet.

Red Lions provide excellent services with free shuttles services to the airport and town. Ski rental are just across the street . Carpark are free too. I stayed at red lion for 8 days due to conference. I arrived at about 11am and was given a 2nd floor. Feeling unhappy with the low floor, i went back to Laura who is at the front desk and told her my […] request for higher floor and better view. Without hesitation she tried to arrange for a high floor and gave me a $5 voucher to dine in at the diner while they prepare the room for me. After i m done with the meal. She personally came over and handed me the keys. The room that she gave me was awesome with magnificent view of the eastern mountains. Great service. Rooms were clean. Nice location. A few pet peeves..... The staff were not very accommodating with requests. We ended up needing maintenance on our room as the closest broke... Usually get a great deal. Rooms are big, but need to be updated. Very easy to get to and avoid city center traffic although its downtown. The restaurant and bar closes too early. Although the Red Lion is an all non-smoking hotel, every entry way had a group of smokers that you have to go through to enter the hotel. I really wanted to like the Red Lion Hotel. The worst part was our mattress. It was just too old and soft, err rather well used. Housekeeping does an OK job the the maintenance crews are keeping this old gal up. I saw several things that just were poor maintenance. I know the management doesn't know the proper way to run a front desk. The front desk […] manager must not have a desk because she stands at the front desk and just talks away. Overall I guess I just expected more. Not sure I'll go back. The cafe had a very unhealthy menu and were out of the things we wanted to eat. Oh well. I enjoyed my 2 night stay. The room was beautifully renovated. Nice furniture, microwave, fridge, comfy beds. The heater was a little too loud for me. The service was good, pleasant and helpful. This staff is excellent from the time you walk in to the time you depart.Excellent! The beds are comfortable, and set up nicely. "small vacation or business getaway"
The room was centered in a great location for me. Close to lots of shopping and the freeway which made ease of access to most everywhere. The staff was very helpfull and hotel well kept. My only complain is the parking and lack of family orientation. It seems this hotel is more designed for single to business travelers.Gecontroleerde Expedia gastenbeoordeling

"Surprising stay"
We stayed at this location prior to a flight out. To my surprise this hotel was clean and nice. I was also happy to have a comfortable pillow top bed. "Good location and great value"
Great location near the popular beer pubs red rock and squatters. Super nice receptionist got us a room with a view of the wasatch. Updated beds are super soft. Does not include any breakfast, but they do have a buffet for 8 bucks, i just went to McDonalds.Gecontroleerde Expedia gastenbeoordeling

we had the room temperature at 80 degrees the whole time and were still not comfortably warm. We had expected more channels on the t.v. and there was no pay for view or DVD options that we would have liked. The diner in the building was slow on service, asked for no mushrooms and still got them, didn't ask what we wanted to drink and when we reminded […] them it was very slow in coming. Great value! I expected much less for the price I was paying. The room was clean, linens were acceptable and bed was super comfortable. I would guess that they have done a recent renovation and it was done nicely. The lounge was functional serving meals and drinks but not a place to have a romantic glass of wine.
