De lobby van het hotel is prachtig. De kamer was prima, zeker voor de betaalde prijs. Doordat er 2 (kleine) tweepersoonsbedden in de kamer stonden voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen resteerde er weinig loopruimte. De kastruimte was niet voldoende voor kleding van 4 personen en de badkamer was licht verouderd/aan onderhoud toe. Al met al beoordelen wij het hotel vanwege de geweldige locatie als prima.

Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 25 feb, 2013Wij bleken een master room met uitzicht geboekt te hebben. Normaal hoeft uitzicht niet zo van mij, maar in NYC wil je niets anders. Daar kom je voor. De kamer op de 37e verdieping was méér dan perfect. Er was geen lawaai, het was superschoon, het personeel was vriendelijk... Ik kan eigenlijk geen minpunt noemen. Nog wel een pluspunt: het hotel is om de hoek vanwaar de bussen naar Woodburry (shopping outlet) en het vliegveld vertrekken... 2 minuten sjouwen met je koffer: that's it!!

"Volgende keer weer dit hotel"
Goede ligging, leuke sfeer, ruime kamer, lekker bed, behulpzame staf : prima hotel. Wij vonden de ligging perfect, Tribeca is een leuke ontspannen wijk, Soho en Chinatown op loopafstand. Metro op de hoek van het hotel, 2 andere metrolijnen een blok verder. Voor reserveringen van bv restaurants is een medewerker beschikbaar. Bagage storage op de dag […] van vertrek is geen probleem, (zonder kosten). 3 keer die koffer terughalen omdat we iets vergeten waren ook niet. We hebben ons gast gevoeld. Ontbeten hebben we in de tentjes in de buurt gedaan die in ruime aantal aanwezig zijn. Het hotel verhuurt fietsen. Op loopafstand is een rooftop bar met een geweldig uitzicht. Jimmy, boven in hotel the James op 27 Grant street. De reis terug naar JFK airport hebben we gedaan met metrolijn A. Je kunt opstappen aan de achterzijde van het hotel en hij rijdt in 40 min naar de rand van de luchthaven. Vandaar nog 20 min met de airtrain naar de juiste terminal. TriBeCa Grand has a great location. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating; the front desk, concierge, and doormen were outstanding! Two negatives about the hotel: The lighting in our room was very poor, dimly lit hard to see. The bathroom had a dull yellow tint to the light , for a woman not ideal. Secondly ~ the staff in the lounge/bar […] and restaurant were unfriendly and rude. My husband and I were in New York on business. As guests in the hotel we were turned away two nights in a row form having a drink in the lounge with no concern or care that we were quests in the hotel one night the rude host with a terrible attitude pointed to the bar and said "that's it" we walked in and waited for over 15 mins, we got up and walked out. Fortunately the very professional and friendly concierge working that night made every effort to make things right for us, which was greatly appreciated. The TriBeCa Grand is comfortable and a nice change from other more touristy areas of NYC. However for the second time, the service in the lounge was less than acceptable. After being ignored twice by the server, we asked for help to which the reply was "Were you seated?" There had been no one at the desk of the lounge to seat us. Then she didn't even […] bother to deliver the drinks, but instead continued to visit with her friends. This is the second time that the Lounge service was poor. The hotel was very nice and worked out well for us. Some of the nice amenities were the coffee/tea room on each floor, room service was awesome, and hotel staff was great. Usually priced a little high for my blood, but when you can get a good rate this hotel provides solid value. The location is unbeatable if you are spending time in lower manhattan. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms quality is solid and the bed is comfortable. Noise level is not too bad for NYC and the restaurant is also very good. "wonderful little hotel"
We had a great time at the Tribeca Grand. It is walking distance to shops and eating in Tribeca and SoHo. Carmen was super helpful with dinner reservations and directions. Near the Hudson River Parkway, so I could go for a morning run to Battery Park. The bar was closed Saturday night when we came home from our show, but there were lots of people in […] the lobby having a cocktails and it was a great time. "Nice small boutique hotel"
Hotel was trendy and well appointed. The reception staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Location was great for us - our daughter lives in Tribeca. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was a bit difficult to find, but we don't have a GPS. "60th Birthday"
Went to NYC t celebrate cousin's 60th birthday. We thought the Grand Tribeca was excellent in every way.
