La Quinta Inn & Suites Kansas City Airport in Kansas City

It was great came up for the race at the kansas speedway and everythig was great! Room was really clean staff was friendly and the breakfast was actually good...

Just need softer towels. Otherwise it was a nice comfortable stay. Good complimentary cinnamon rolls!!

Our room was clean, and very nice. The rest of the hotel needed a makeover. Dirty lobby and the pool was filthy with hoses laying in it. Couldn't be used. The staff was also nice.

Hotel staff was very nice and professional. Rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was good with selection and choices. The only problem was that the hotel itself was rather noisy...it was very easy to hear people walking down the hall or in the room above you. Great location close to Zona Rosa a real plus. Well lit parking lot.

Everything was great, especially the automatic pancake machine. The gentleman on the night shift was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Hotel is in need of renovation & updates. Clean, but old. There are many other hotel options close-by, down the street that are comparable in price that would likely be better options.

Friendly staff. Good value.

Gtreat proximity to KCI and nice room, very helpful motel personnel. A good place to stay for KCI.

The room smelled of cats and smoke. The help act disgruntled, and the overall room is unclean and offputting.

This hotel is great for the price, pool is kinda small, work out room is very small, but just accross the highway from the Zona Rosa shopping center and minutes from KCI. Would definatly stay here again.

Everything was up to par for a quality hotel. Staff were curteous, friendly and helpful. We stayed because of their non-smoking policy, what a relief to find a clean air hotel. It was quiet, relaxed and they had very comfortable beds and great pillows.

When looking up hotels, location was first, then quality. This was rated a 2.5 star, but the comments were really good. I would have to agree with the others on this hotel. The staff was personable and ready to help. The woman that prepares the breakfast items even went an extra mile to serve my friend who arrived at breakfast after the serving hours. […] It is across from Zona Rosa, which is a nice shopping area as well. They have made good improvements to the rooms where it counts-bathroom and sink area. Would stay there again. Lees meer

Arrived very early in morning and room was not ready. Lady at the desk soon had my an alternate room so I could prepare for an early afternoon meeting. That was a great touch to my trip! Great location with good restaurants right across the street. Burnt end ribs!

La Quinta's around the country have vastly improved... and this is a nice one. Good location. easy access to freeway... food options close by.

We visited our son in Leavenworth at the VA Center. The hotel was about 20 minutes away from the VA Center but the ride was well worth it. It was scenic and totally debunked the myth of boring Kansas, the villages and the farms were utterly charming and so clean. Our hotel was about 2 minutes from the Zona Rosa an Outside Mall with many stores and restaurants […] all intertwined with green parks with benches and play areas for the children. Like an oasis amid the hustle and bustle of shopping and dining. A wonderful place for resting and people watching. The hotel was clean, the service was friendly and helpful, always taking time to answer our questions and making our stay more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay there again when the opportunity arises. Lees meer

There's nothing really great about the place, but there's nothing wrong with it either. It's a perfectly fine place to stay the night before catching a plane at KCI or driving North. The included breakfast is nice too. Also it's right across the street from a very nice shopping/restaurants area.

Stayed their because of the Kansas City blizzard. Very easy reservations. Room was nice and clean as was the bathroom. TV was fine but it was not a flat screen. Thought I saw an advertisment for a taco bar for supper but that was not done. Breakfast was as expected, sweet rolls muffins, cereals, etc. I would rate that as average. I would recommend for […] a one or two night stay. One bad thing was that the front sliding door at the entrance of the motel did not open all the way. That was strange and needs to be repaired. The hotel was about 10 minutes from the airport but the shuttle was quick free and easy. The hotel is across from a large shopping center with tons of restaurants and shopping. Also fast food very close if that is needed. Good choice for a stay close to the airport.

My husband and I visited Worlds of Fun and didn't want to stay in any of the crummy hotels near the park, so we stayed at the LaQuinta Inn near the airport. While it was a good 20-25 min. highway drive to the park, it was worth traveling because the hotel was very comfortable and clean. The room had a nice-sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and […] room safe. They only provided soap and shampoo, rather than extras such as conditioner and lotion, but since I bring all of those things along with us on trips, that didn't matter to us. The best thing about this hotel was that we traveled with two small dogs and they had an open pet policy, with no security deposit or extra fee assessed (hard to fine these days). The staff was also friendly, and they had a decent selection for breakfast (danishes, eggs and sausage, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, etc.). I would stay at this hotel again, if I travel to the KC area. It was much less expensive than staying in the Country Club Plaza area, but still nice and in an area that we didn't worry about crime. Staff was pretty nice, rooms were pretty clean but really small. Barely any room to walk. Went down to pool a couple days, never had clean towels. Slow to get clean towels for pool. Nice area.

Location is perfect, it is near to almost everything. From shopping to food to movie houses.
