"One night inNanjing"
This hotel is showing its age. The roomwaas inneed of upgrade - it was a bit tatty round the edges... :) Having said that, the price was reasonable and the staff were VERY helpful. They could not have been nicer and more accomodating in every way. Will stay again if in NJ.

"All OK, EXCEPT moldy shower"
Staff was pleasant and professional. Buffet was OK. Room was average but in the range for a 3 star hotel. Mattress was good. But the large amount of mold in the shower was really gross. Correct that, and I would recommend this hotel. Otherwise, no.

The hotel locates in the down town of Nanjing, near the Gulou metro station and opposite to the tallest building in Nanjing. The room price is at the lower range of a 4 star hotel in Nanjing. I know why after staying there. The problem is that the hotel is lacking of maintenance. It may be a very good hotel many years ago but now it's not. In my room […] the furniture and decoration are a bit old. The hair dryer in my room is broken and as I can see it needs a replacement (but the worker just fixed the damaged part). The bathing water comes slow and also needs some big repair. On the whole, the room price can reflect the probelm of the hotel. Lees meer
It was a special experience and I very lucky I had my ski-underwear with me. I had a two room with big windows and it was very cold. The temperature could be increased significantly if the curtain was covering the windows. The was a strike at the hotel so people (3 days of my stay) prevent you to take the elevator so after breakfast I had to go out […] the main entrance walk around the hotel and enter an employ entrance (I will never forget the smell). And occupationally there were someone of the staff who could speak some English. Lees meer
