Gastvrije ontvangst. Prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Eenvoudig hotel, maar vlakbij de boten en binnen 10 min. op het San Marcoplein.Ontbijt is wel erg simpel, maar de koffie is prima en voor 5,-€ p.persoon mag je ook niet meer verwachten.Als we ooit weer Venetie willen verkennen teken ik voor dezelfde accomodatie.

Gewldig hotel, we hadden een upgrade naar een nieuwe kamer, hoe de ode kamers zijn dat weet ik niet. Het was wel een flink eind lopen naar bv het San Marco maar dat vond ik juist een voordeel, omdat je dan onderweg alles lopend ziet. Het was vlakbij het treinstation en op loopafstand van de eindstop van de luchthavenbus. Bijzonder comfortabel , uitstekend ontbijt,vriendelijk personeel, vrije beschikking over het internet op de computer die in de hal van het hotel staat.

Goede service en aardig personeel. Alleen slechte bedden en erg gehorig. Kamers waren super schoon en heel erg mooi.

Goede ligging alles op loop afstand. Net of je in zandvoort bent maar dan warmer. Op loopafstand van de baay van venetie en in de avond direct aan het uitgaans centrum op het strand.
Ligging.
Holiday Inn Venice-Mestre Marghera bevindt zich in Mestre, dicht bij Piazza Ferretto en San Giuliano Park. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Villa Valmarana at Mira en Fusina Harbor.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in Mestre biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 4-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, zakelijke diensten en een geldwisseldienst regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, meertalig personeel en een wasserij. There is a gas station at the front entrance of the hotel you must drive thru to get to the hotel, weird? 3/4 mile walk to bus station. 55 Euro cab ride to Venice. Rooms are small, typical of Europe but clean. Front desk staff polite enough. Bartender was excellent, his name escapes me or I would mention it. They are unable or unwilling to perform tasks […] at front desk such as provide me with Euro for cab ride on my credit card. Even asked to charge 50 Euro at the bar but my tab was only 20 Euro. Answer was always no. Getting me a cab that accepted credit card, also a no. Disappointing. It could have been a better experience. Knowing what I know, I would stay elsewhere for the same price and I had my choices. Lees meer

"good price and location"
Hotel is close to the Marco Polo Airport about a 10 min drive. easy for Taxi's to find. From the airport it was 40.00 euro for two people. Front Desk was easy to check in since it was paid for on hotels.com however they still chaged us for daily taxes which was 2.50 euro per day per person. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the local bus that goes […] to Venice. Take the bus # 6 only. Not the 6/ or the 15. The hotel says they will have better maps to get to the local bus stop. The hotel has a shuttle bus that will take you to Venice but 8 euro person round trip was a little high we thought. Since on the local bus it's only 2.50 euro round trip. Keep in mind if you purchase a water bus ticket in venice you can ride the local buses with the same ticket. The internet in the hotel didn't work while we were there. The beds are a little hard. The Front Desk even called us a taxi back to the airport and only cost 35.00 euro. But another then that it was a nice place we would go back. Lees meer

Good Points - 1. The room was really cosy and clean. 2. Bed was comfortable and toilet was good. 3. Considerably cheap room rates, which could be explained from the number of bad points below. Bad Points - 1. Reception service was poor and nowhere near the standard required. Manager Franco could use a lesson in customer service. 2. The wireless system […] does not work in the hotel; all guests had to make do with only ONE computer at the lobby area, and the internet speed coming from that computer was crap. 3. Poor location. The hotel is a good 5 - 10min walk from the nearest bus stop, taking bus no. 6 from Venice island. There are no signs to assist hotel guests in finding the hotel; building is really hard to find, since it's located next to the highway. 4. Poor surrounding neighbourhood - only a petrol station next door, which does not offer much in terms of snacks and groceries. Conclusion - would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. "No bathtub"
There was no bathtub and only a shower in our room. We have stayed at this hotel in the past without issue. This time we could npt get a bathtub in what was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Also, there was no free WI-FI and we suspec it was canceled for non-payment. Since we are busness travelers, internet is a must have and we choose hotels accordingly. "Great Room for the money"
- Good Location - 15 min bus ride to Venice(3 EUROS ROUND TRIP) - 15 min taxi ride to Marco Polo Airport (40 EUROS) - Can take the bus PLAZA ROMA and then connect to the Airport (5 EUROS per person) - Good Hotel
"Nice room and convenient location"
Travelling by car to Venice, this was an easy hotel to find. Access to Venice was facilitated by the hotel shuttle or one could take the local bus service which had a stop behind the hotel. Breakfast looked lovely, but was pricey when not part of the room bill. Very nice restaurant and bar. Great bar tender.

das personal war ausgesprochen nett, höflich und hilfsbereit und hat sehr gut englisch gesprochen. leider war die wegbeschreibung wie man zu fuß vom bus zum hotel läuft nicht sehr gut, wir sind etwas in der gegend herumgeirrt bevor wir es gefunden haben. auch hätte ich mir mehr ( es gab nur einen direkt am tresen) freie zugänge zum internet in einer […] etwas privateren umgebung gewünscht. insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Ottima sistemazione per chi per lavoro ha bisogno di un hotel già sulla strada per partire l'indomani di buon mattino. E' confortevole, anche se un po' "anni 80". Ottima colazione

"Greit hotell men langt fra venezia sentrum"
Hotellet ligger greit til, men best å ta taxi, da det er vanskelig å finne og fordi busssystemet der er vanskelig å skjønne. Hotellet er greit, men ligger langt fra sentrum av Veneia så du må regne med tiden det tar å dra frem og tilbake med buss eller taxi. Rommet et greit, men vaskeperonell låser opp på morgene da vi fortsatt sov og lappen med "ikke […] forstyrr" hang på døra. Dette skjedde flere dager, noe vi ikke synes noe om. "Not to far from Venice"
The hotel was clean and with spacey light room. Me and my girlfriend spent 2 days at this hotel. at arrival as we spoke to the clerk at the reception, he wouldn't even look at us as he spoke and did some other things at the same time as he went to our reservation. The hotel offer a buss shuttled to Venice beach, which only goes for some specific hours […] during the day and night, with that to say there are better alternatives then what the hotel offers you. The local bus is a much better alternative. The bus stop is 5 mins. walk from the hotel, and it goes every 20 min. until midnight. it takes only 15 min to Venice city. it was a cheap hotel, clean, and neat. Lees meer

O Hotel é muito bom, nossa única insatisfação refere-se a Localização do mesmo em relação a Veneza; Quando escolhemos este hotel foi por estar próximo do Aeroporto, mas como a Cidade não é tão grande dá para ficar hospedado mais próximo ao centro num outra oportunidade;

Excellent acceuil, personnel sympatique. Chambre confortable. Accès facile à proximité de l'autotoute.
c'est un hôtel très pratique pour visiter Venise, par contre, c'est un hôtel de passage, il y a parfois beaucoup de bruit dans les couloirs provenant des groupes qui arrivent tard le soir.

Tycker inte alls att det höll "Holiday Inn"-standard. Sunkigt faktiskt. Sedan ska man tänka på att det är bättre (billigare) att ta den lokala bussen i stället för hotellets "shuttle-service" till centrala Venedig.

Ottima la posizione e il servizio offerto compreso il bus navetta per raggiungere Venezia - Ben organizzato anche se non comprensibile il parcheggio a pagamento - Non ho capito perchè un albergo del genere non abbia all'interno delle camere il frigo-bar
