prima hotel/motel, gelegen (loopafstand) nabij het centrum van Falmouth. Hoofdgebouw met bijgebouw, niet een typisch Amerikaans motel, dus ook prima voor meerdere nachten. Wij gebruikten het als uitvalbasis voor een verkenning van Cape Cod.

Erg leuke b&b, vriendelijk personeel, de hele dag verse koffie en koeken op tafel, uitgebreid ontbijt, sfeervol herenhuis met fraaie veranda en erg nette prijzen. Al met al een hoogtepunt van onze vakantie.

Voor Martha's Vineyard redelijk nette prijzen. Prima ontbijt. Nette kamer. Verwacht niet te veel luxe of een erg mooi aangekleed hotel, maar het geheel is wel netjes en het personeel vriendelijk. Al met al een prima uitgangsbasis voor een verkenning van ' the Vineyard'

The most important asset of this hotel is its location. Terrific view. Pleasant room, lobby has a nice fireplace. A cosy place to relax. (Minor note: The room we had was 221, if you are sensitive to background noise at night, ask for another room. It is directly situated under the hotels ventilation outlets, the window is looking out over the AC installation.)
Ligging.
Tidewater Inn ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Hyannis - Yarmouth in West Yarmouth, dicht bij Hyannis Harbor, John F Kennedy Hyannis Museum en Kalmus Beach. In de ruime omgeving liggen ook Bayberry Hills Golf Course en Seagull Beach.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Tidewater Inn heeft een buitenzwembad, een binnenzwembad en een spabad. Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel voor families heeft een restaurant en een koffiebar/café. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een gameruimte en meertalig personeel. Zeer nette kamer met alle comfort. Zeer goed bed. Ideale locatie om Cape Cod te bezoeken. Uiterst vriendelijk en correct beheersteam, steeds bereikbaar. Prijs/kwaliteit = buitengewoon goed Met mijn laptop kon ik geen gebruik maken van hun beveiligde wifi, wel van de onbeveiligde netwerk van het ernaast gelegen "Howard Johnson". Clean! Close to everthing on the main drag, everything we wanted to do was easily accessible.

Was in a,very convenient location, with very reasonable prices for a hotel on the cape. Not a five star selection, but very reasonable choice for the price. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed off-season. Went by airport to get there but room was quiet. Arrived late but key was left hidden by door--New England style! Very clean and comfy. VERY quiet in Jan. Owner incredibly pleasant and caring. Found a gem!

"Great Escape"
Great two nights and three days! We loved the breakfast diner! We were the first every am! The Tidewaters is a great escape! Great Pool, Whoorlpool, rooms are very clean, quiet this time of the year. even though it was New Years weekend! It was a little busy, the staff was great and we enjoyed our quiet time immensley. "Great for the price"
We have stayed at Tidewater many times. It is clean and quiet. It is an older motel but well worth it. And it is in the "hub" of things to do.

"Tidewater Onn - a price performer for off season"
Decent and economical accomodations located conveniently for an off season weekend on the Cape. Room with two doubles beds was comfortable and clean. Only the worn stained hall carpet and the small TV were small negatives. The wireless worked fine.

Typical of motels located in Cape Cod. Nothing fancy or exceptional. Adequate for a few nights. Helen's cafe in the morning was convenient and good but not open during the week during off season. Can hear people on the second floor if you stay on the first floor.
"Get what you pay for"
If you pick the cheapest hotel they offer, how high can your expectations be? It was ok, only problem I wanted fixed was the smelly shower curtain.

People in the office were very helpful with room accomodations and recommendations for the best area to go on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

This hotel is old and very basic - clean, but nothing special. The heater/AC (we needed both during the off-season weekend we stayed) were noisy, and we could hear toilets flushing and water running in other guests' rooms. I can't imagine how noisy it must be in the summer, with families and kids staying there! The location was fine, along the "main […] drag" from Yarmouth to Hyannis, but we felt we paid too much, considering it was the second weekend of October. Our friends who went to the Cape the same weekend paid the same amount (average price per night for a 4-night stay)at nicer hotels, right down the street from the Tidewater. You can do better! The Tidewater was a hotel from a past age. Clean, but unremarkable as to decor and amenities. Very convenient parking at the room, and easy access to the areas of Cape Cod. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our stay was comfortable. Greg

rugs were not clean showercurtian was off hooks kleenex box ran out late at night bed was clean and comfortable. i have stayed at this place many times and this is the first i've see it in this condition
"Motel in West Yarmouth"
Motel located in West Yarmouth on the side of the main route 28, fairly basic with a very bad plastering job on the ceiling...rooms depressing, especially the bathroom, housekeeping was rude and didnt clean the sinks etc..but a good cheap price for the cape. A car would be necessary as it is hard to get around to South Yarmouth, Dennis & Hyannis from […] this location. Stay was OK. Room smelled a bit but it's an old place so I guess that was to be expected. What wasn't expected was the run-away laundry cart that crashed into my car. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Area was fine. Room was comfortable. Both pools and hot tub were fine. We had two children ages 6 and 7 with us. One wall outlet cover was missing with wires running through to a power strip on floor, bed sheet had a red stain, blanket had a cigarette burn in it, a/c had a musty odor when first turned […] on for about an hour, bathroom light was missing a cover and there was a lot of dust and dirt inside, the shower pull did not work, lock missing on screen door. "Great price and location"
The service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The diner on site was reasonable and very good. An easy walk from our room. My room location, however, was close to the main road (Route 28). Very noisey, I would suggest a room further back on the property. We could definately hear the noisey people underneath us, late at night too. […] Oh one other thing...my bed had really bad spring noises. The mattress and box spring should be changed. Lees meer
I found a used condom on the floor by my bedside. Luckily, it was me and not my nine month old, who found it.

When booking through hotels.com they showed pictures of of the newer rooms that we did not get. The room was disgusting and smelly to the point that we swallowed the expense of paying for it and found another hotel! Did not even stay the night!!!!

The rooms were old, damp and smelled awful..clothes from suitcase smelled like the room after a day in the room, bathroom was 60s style.......definitely needs a restoration, or an update.
We had a good time there. It did have a pool & jacuzzi, and that was good. Also, the hotel personnel were very cooperative.

The Tidewater Inn is a great, basic motel on Cape Cod. The location was great and the staff friendly. It has two swimming pool s and was very clean for a motel. Coffee was provided in the lobby and nice toiletries were included in the bathroom. A great stay, but remember, you are still in a motel!

I stayed here because of the reviews, and I was glad I did. I had a great room, fast internet, and it was so close to everything. The host was super informative and he gave me a great tip for taking a ferry to Martha's Vineyard. I ended up staying two nights instead of one!

Good hotel for the money. Be aware that if they put you in the building to the left there is no wifi in that building.

"Had a great time.. even with all the rain"
We stayed here for the weekend and definitely got our money's worth. The hotel was almost half the price right before the summer started and it was a great deal! The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and the room was nicely decorated and clean. I read the reviews before staying here and the two negative sides that I do agree with are that […] the walls are very thin and the main street is extremely difficult to pull out on to. These really were not huge problems and are things that I can imagine you would expect anywhere inexpensive. The location of this inn is great! A great beach is about 5-10 mins down the road and the inn is surrounded by other things to do! There are plenty of restaurants and shops on this road as well as 2 miniature golf courses within walking distance. The weather was not as kind to us this weekend and rained almost the entire stay but tidewater has an indoor pool that was heated to perfect temperature so we still managed to go swimming. The only bad things about the pool is the towels they offer are at the front desk and are more like hand towels because they are so small so just make sure you bring your own. Also, the pool has a lot of chlorine. I did not notice this right away but I am still trying to get the smell out of my hair so just make sure you have swimming shampoo. Seriously overall, this place is a great deal. The weather was miserable but we still enjoyed our stay! In fact, we are planning to go back next year. We would go back before the summer ends if the prices didn't nearly double for the summer. If you are looking to stay here, look go in May or June. It's a great deal! Lees meer

A nice hotel for short stay. the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hotel management were kind and responded quickly to a service call for a clogged tolet. The maid was friendly and kept the room spotless. The out door pool was clean and well kept. We did not use the indoor pool but it also looked clean and well kept. Unfortunately the […] hot tub was out of service and would have been nice after a long day at the beach. The Hotel stunk of mold - Sheets had stains on. Disgusting place - Do yourself a favor - find somewhere else.
