Grand Hyatt ligt op zeer goede locatie en ademt een zeer statige atmosfeer bij het naar binnen treden. Check in gaat lekker snel en dat moet na een lange reis. De kamers, ik had een club kamer, zijn enigzins gedateerd en vermoeid, niet heel ruim maar adekwaat, alles zeer acceptabel. De kamer inrichting is actueel maar neigt naar behoudend; geen spannend interieur, veel hout een beetje Lundia. Niet te chique dus.Bed is top. De badkamer een beetje donker naar mijn smaak en ook enigzins vermoeid maar wel fijn schoon; en een super douche, lekker wegspoelen en zo hoort dat. Toch laat het hotel de indruk achter van zo een 20 jaar in business te zijn. Niet erg maar toch net geen 'Grand" of dat moet slaan op de grootte, want het is een groot hotel. Bij Grand denk ik aan super de luxe. Interessant is de club waar een drankje kan worden gebruikt, met aantrekkelijk uitzicht op een van de mooiste skyscraper gebouwen op deze wereld, de Taipei 101. Veel hoekjes en gaten om te zitten, het personeel moet worden aangespoord maar is wel vriendelijk. Het fitness centre bestaat uit 3 delen, Aerobic, gewichten en vloer en is goed uitgerust. Prima voor een stevige work-out. Restaurants en bar ook zeer actueel ingericht dus laten niets te wensen over. Het metro systeem van Taipei ligt een korte wandeling weg en ook het bus station bij de Townhall is dichtbij. Taxi's zijn niet duur, dus de mogelijkheden om Taipei te verkennen zijn legio. Met in het achterhoofd dat het Grand Hyatt een zeer goed hotel is maar net geen top zult u hier niet teleugesteld zijn. De kans dat ik hier terugkom is groot vanwege de locatie alsmede de hotel faciliteiten. Ik heb al in veel hotels in Taipei verbleven en dit is echt een van de betere, zeker voor een zakenreiziger.

I stayed one night only. My room was very comfortable, excellent bathroom, good bed. Unfortunately it only had two tiny windows that looked out on a messy urban landscape - but I guess that this is what you get in this part of Taipei when you get a room on the back of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. In the breakfast room there are tree iMacs (fancy) with printers and Internet connection for the guests' convenience. The staff was very friendly and helpful at checkin, at checkout and when I needed some map information. They lent me a plug converter so I could recharge my computer batteries. Quite importantly, the hotel is also located at 5 minutes' distance from a Metro station. Taxis seem to hang out in front of it. Overall, I would stay here again - and the price is right.
Ligging.
The Landis Taipei ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Zhongshan in Taipei, dicht bij Xingtian-tempel, Tempel van Confucius en Nationaal museum van Taiwan. In de buurt liggen ook Shilin Night Market en Voetbalstadion Chungshan.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
The Landis Taipei heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub en een sauna. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar, terwijl de accommodatie over een computer met internetverbinding beschikt. Dit hotel met 4,5 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een technische helpdesk. Dit hotel heeft 3 restaurants. Daarnaast heb je ook een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en een huwelijksservice regelen. Extra voorzieningen in deze accommodatie in art-decostijl zijn onder andere een dakterras, een fitnesscentrum en meertalig personeel. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De volledige renovatie van deze accommodatie werd in september 2011 voltooid.
Hotelkamers.
Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. The Landis Taipei heeft 209 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Alle bedden hebben driedubbele lakens en premium beddengoed. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een plasmatelevisie met kanalen via de kabel. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer heeft een bad/douchecombinatie met een handdouche en een regendouchekop. Daarnaast is elke badkamer ook voorzien van een weegschaal, badjassen en make-up/scheerspiegels.
Elke kamer is voorzien van een koelkast, een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en gratis mineraalwater. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en pantoffels. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals massagebehandelingen op de kamer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is. Op de kamers van The Landis Taipei mag niet worden gerookt.

Encounters with the Front Office & Concierge was great. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The room was not huge but a comfortable size and very clean. Only minus point is that the Train station was a little far and there wasn't any mall nearby. So, not the best hotel for shoppers.

"Landis Taipei is good"
It is located 5 mins (walk) from the MRT station. There isn't much in terms of shopping or good restaurants nearby but once on the MRT, everything is accessible. The room was clean, comfortable ans spacious (I got the deluxe room). My only complaint is the level of service at breakfast. Stayed there for 4 nights. Service was excellent, location was desirable, which was a 10 mins walk from the nearest underground rail station. However, the building looked old and the gym looked at though it had not been refurbished since the 1970s. Overall, a good hotel to stay in if you are in taipei, if you intend to time venturing out.

It not a big hotel, but the hotel staffs are really nice, and with best quality of service. The room is clean and neat, the bed is very comfortable and with reasonal price. The hotel location is not very convenience, the subway station is about 5-10 minutes walk, also if you take airport bus is about 10-15 mins walk from the bus station to the hotel. the staff who checked us in show no profession. She brought us to a room in which that floor was under rennovation. We could easily smell once we got out of the elevator. That staff didn't even offer us another room and wanted to brought us to the room as usual. We raised out our concern and she had no choice but to go back and find another room for […] us. This hotel is really worth it, if you don't want to stay in a big crowded hotel, like other 4.5 or 5 star hotel. The staff are very helpful and so friendly. The MRT station is just 5 min to walk. All you need is just some steps away: bus station, temple, library and other shops. I will definitely come again here.

The room was dusty, dusty..it was so bad when I dropped my pant on the floor, it stuck with so much dust that I couldn't even wear it. Conceiege service was very attentive and helpful,they recommended the best and most convenience places to visit and dine.

From the time you walk in to the time you leave, the staff at the Landis make you feel like you are truly special. They take care of your every need. Felt like a five star. "コストパフォーマンス良し"
周囲にはいわゆるショッピングゾーンはないけれど、行天宮への朝の散歩などこれはこれで雰囲気があります。ＭＲＴの駅が近くにできてグンと足回りも良くなったし、タクシーを使っても、松山空港、故宮博物院、士林など市内北部への距離も近くて便利です。ホテル内や部屋の雰囲気は落ち着いていて、ゆっくり滞在したい人向きだと思います。残念だった点は、隣接（あるいは上下）部屋の排水の音が少し気になったのと、朝食ビュッフェの味がイマイチだったことくらいです。

"ゴージャスな雰囲気のホテルです"
GWに3泊しました。大人2人、小学生2人であったため、事前にホテルに相談してデラックスルームにエキストラベッドを入れていただきました。ホテルの方の対応は素晴らしく、気持ちよく過ごさせて頂きました。あとは、立地ですかね。今回の私の訪問先であれば、もう少し街中でもよかったかも知れません。全般的には大変満足のいく、ホテルでした。

昨年6月に初めて泊まりました。今回は親孝行の旅なので、少し奮発してExecutive Suiteにしました。部屋が綺麗なのは当然ですが、音が静かで居心地が良いことにあらためて気づきました。 松山空港側なのですが、二重窓になっているし、バスルームやクローゼットの扉が非常に静かに閉まります。 母も大変喜んでくれました。 目の前の通りには延々と続く飲食店。台湾の食を堪能するにもとても良いところです。

非常に交通の便は良い。松山空港からもだし、桃園空港からも行天宮で降りれば数分だし。 朝ご飯も種類があって美味しい。 テレビのチャンネル数を増やしてもらいたい。

服务优秀！入住第一日，气温未达台北供暖标准，房间感觉较冷，给酒店反映后迅速拿来取暖器及被子解决了问题。并且酒店所有服务人员态度亲切、热情，有问必答，宾至如归！謝謝！
"コンパクトなホテル"
今回の旅行は1/19-22高雄・日月潭・台北で1/21-22このホテルを利用しました。当日は春節イブでいつものホテルは満室のため初めて利用しました。 ホテルへ1時頃に到着してしまい、チェックインは無理かと思っていましたが、清掃済みの部屋へ入れて頂きとても助かりました。 しかし、前二泊は広い部屋を利用していたので、とても狭く感じました。また、窓はホテル内側に面していて開けられず残念でした。それと、風呂好きの私はシャワーとバスタブが分離した部屋を利用したかった。 ホテルはコンパクトで清掃が行き届きとても綺麗でした。そして、スタッフはフレンドリーでとても感じは良かったです。
