Het was een heerlijk relaxed verblijf van alle gemakken voorzien en een mooie kamer met klein keukentje ideaal! Het personeel was ook erg behulpzaam en aardig. Ontbijt ook prima kortom je krijgt veel waar voor je geld!!!

Een recent opgeknapt hotel met een zeer goede ligging op het strand. Goede parkeergelegenheid. Zeer geschikt voor de mooie strandwandelingen op het prachtige Sanibel island.
Ligging.
Outrigger Beach Resort ligt aan het strand in Fort Myers Beach, dicht bij Lovers Key State Park. Andere bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn Barefoot Beach en San Carlos Golf Club.
Resortvoorzieningen.
Dit resort bij het strand heeft een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een zwembadbar. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit resort biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een buitenzwembad, een cadeaushop of kiosk en barbecueroosters. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren.
Hotelkamers.
Elke kamer heeft een balkon. Outrigger Beach Resort heeft 144 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een kluis en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Een draadloze snelle internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via de kabel. Elke kamer beschikt over een telefoon met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een magnetron, een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.

"Leuk en betaalbaar op een prachtige locatie"
We hebben dit hotel lastminute geboekt maar alles was prima geregeld bij aankomst... De kamer was wat ouder maar prima...standaard motelkamer met koelkast kluisje en gratis koffie. De kamers worden goed schoongehouden en elke dag nieuwe handdoeken. Vooral leuk is de gezellige poolbar met uitzicht op het brede witte strand en de zonsondergang. "Erg CHEAP hotel"
Het Outrigger beach hotel staat in veel gidsen en komt veel voor in georganiseerde rondreizen, dus we dachten dat dit wel een goede keuze zou zijn. Maar het was uiteindelijk het slechtste hotel van onze hele rondreizen. De kamers zijn echt heel erg 'motel' achtig en zijn heel muffig. Tip: kijk voor een leuke B&B, die zitten er genoeg in de straat.

De verhouding prijs/kwaliteit blijft altijd goed bij Outrigger Beach hotel. Het complex is uitstekend onderhouden. Wij komen er al 20 jaar. De locatie is uitstekend. Gelegen op het strand.

Je mag ook je biertje meenemen op het strand. Nog nooit gezien in de VS. Er is ook een soort snackbar waar je kan lunchen maar ze brengen het ook naar het strand. "Zeer mooi gelegen schoon hotel"
Mooi gelegen hotel aan de Golf van Mexico. Zwembad iets te klein voor hoeveelheid mensen. Groot strand met schoon zand. Zeewater iets groen met wat zeewier. Warm water, Hotel is schoon. De airco is wel iets luidruchtig en moet flink draaien om kamer koel te krijgen.

"Beach front"
Room was very clean, just a little outdated .For 1 night it had its plus points .The Office Staff seemed very friendly and helpful.It was nice surprise to have a Frig.which kept our drinks very cold and a coffee pot,which I appreciate in the am.The onsite Cafe/restaurant was not only good , it offered a wide variety .The outrigger sits directly on the […] Beach and that is always a plus,Downside,The pool was small ,so that was disappointing,and no Hot Tub.Otherwise its not fancy but offered a lot for the money. "Great Beach getaway"
This place has a great beach, Tiki bar and resturant right on the grounds. We parked our car and never left. Our room was clean and was nicely decorated and the staff was very helpful with any questions we had. An older resort that has been kept up well and has a great location.

"Great hotel"
This hotel is older, but the staff were very friendly and accomodating. My bathroom was not up to par in the room that I initially moved in and they moved to a room closer to the beach and an upgrade. They didn't have to do this, but I appreciated their help. Great hotel for the price. Amazing location right on the beach. Very comfortable beds. Options for dining right at hotel. Pool was a bit small and overcrowded, but the oceanfront was available as well. Located on a perfect white, sandy beach.

Strong pet odor and when moved to new area non smoking was still of oder! Very sad, when you drive 19 hrs with children that need a clean bed to sleep.

It feels like a camp ground. People are too tanned, all have tattoos, very very simple. The restaurant is a joke. Nothing good in the area either. Very poor. That said, Staf is very nice. "The Outrigger Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach"
We're from Fort Myers and chose to stay at the Outrigger as we attended a wedding on Fort Myers Beach and figured driving home afterwards was not a great idea. Since we're from the area, I know the Outrigger well; have had friends stay there, etc. If you're looking for high end luxury this is not the place, but if you're looking for a fun place with […] a great pool Tiki bar, a huge beach area, and nice little conveniences then you can't do a whole lot better than the Outrigger. Rooms are efficiencies, so even the standard "room" could potentially sleep 7 or 8: 2 each on the 2 Full beds, and 1 or 2 on the pull out sofa. More on the south end of the beach so away from the craziness of the Lani Kai, for example, but a nice little cruise up Estero Blvd will get you there quickly enough (especially nice if you have a convertible or motorcycle!). Also close to the Beach Theater, which shows 4 first run movies in an atmosphere where they also serve food, beer, and wine. Again, if you're looking for more of a beach atmosphere I think you'll enjoy the Outrigger! Lees meer

I loved that the hotel was further down on Estero Blvd., away from the craziness! They had a live band several nights, so nice! The beach was white, white, white sand, and the water so refreshing to swim in. One reccomendation: If you rent a bike, make sure you know there is a trolley. "Fun in the Sun at the Outrigger"
Recently stayed for a week(2-25). Great small resort on a beautiful beach. Hotel service and food great. Very nice Tiki bar with entertainment. Some restaurants within walking distance. Great place to relax.

We stayed at the Outrigger for 4 nights and really enjoyed out time there. If you are all about stars for ratings then this will probably not be a place for you. We enjoyed it because it was simple and fit our needs of a place to get beach access. It has a great location with plenty to do within walking distance or a short drive. "We would go back"
We stayed at the resort for four nights. It is not real fancy,but it was clean. It is the best place to watch the sunset. In fact alot of the locals come to watch it from the tiki bar.The beach is very nice; that is if you like sand that feels like powder. Perfect place to walk the beach and pick up shells and sanddollars. The resort has a nice breakfast […] buffet. Our room had a small kitchen. So you could make meals if you want. "Cute Place"
Really cute place, with a lively atmosphere and good amenities. Restaurant has a great menu with reasonable prices and good service. The Tiki bar has live music and was the center of attraction every night. I'd highly recommend it. JL

"Outrigger Hotel"
The Outrigger is a fantastic basic hotel ON the beach! Comfortable rooms, good service and a GREAT location. It has a nice bar and pool right next to the beach. Supermarket nearby and theatre right across the road. You do need a car to get to different restaurants.

Everything about the Outrigger was great! Rooms clean, staff accomodating, price was very reasonable. It's right on the beach so that's a huge plus! One thing we would recommend is to not eat at their cafe on site, (at least not for dinner) food was okay, service wasn't good. "outrigger resort"
We enjoyed our stay at the outrigger. Good food, good drinks at reasonable prices, friendly service, clean rooms, quick housemaid service. Cannot see the ocean from the pool. The beach is a long walk from hotel to the ocean (just a very long beach), had to pay for ocean lounge chairs.
