A beautiful and comfortable hotel in the shopping district of Brussels. Impressive decor,attentive staff,spacious rooms. The breakfast and internet are ridiculous expensive and not suitable either for business or tourist.

excellend desing beautiful hotel quite spacious room anyting you need you find in your room my 10 days travelling i presume this the best hotel i have stayed i say only two things that suprise me in this hotel .. shower hose was broken and the water to splatter all over the bath! and they made mistake they put one my lagguge to taxi while i am in restaurant […] having dinner if i wouldnt open the boot and check it that would be so much trouble for me to came back , brussel airport not so near and taxi cost 50 euro not only that i probable will miss the my flight go back and to collect my luggage again! make sure you always check even when they say your luggage allredy in taxi sir!! We upgraded to a beautiful suite for an extra 30 euros per night, would recommend this. Wonderful room, great staff, will return in the new year. Only slight annoyance was the staff kept coming in the room to check mini bar/towels and to clean when it had already been done. i simple put the sign up to keep them out!

I chose this hotel because it was close to the location of a conference I attended while in Brussels. The service was courteous and prompt. I requested a toothbrush from housekeeping and it arrived almost immediately after. The hotel is close to a tram and a main street, so public transport and taxis are not a problem. The hotel is not, however, soundproof, […] as suggested by some of the other reviews. It is on a quiet street, but I could clearly hear the people in the next room watching tv and coughing. The rooms are indeed nice, cosy and clean. No complains on that !! The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the city center (by Taxi), and not within walking distance. Be aware, that you can not expect your room to be awailable before 3 pm+. We were very surprised about the price policy, though: We found an offer on the internet, and we prepaid additional […] breakfast (very expensive, compared to coffe shops in the area). But be aware, that they will charge you extra for taxes and breakfast for children 12-18 years - though it is not obvoirs when you make your reservation. At first we were disappointed it was so far form a metro station but once we figured out the trams and bought batches of tickets it was actually very convenient. Tram 81 goes to Gare du Midi. Plenty of restaurants round about. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful and the room was good. This hotel has lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. The bar is quite nice, especially the outside garden area. Room was very large and the decor was beautiful. Very quiet. Good gym on the top floor with stunning views. A little far from the city center. Also, some of the front desk staff failed to be able to communicate, well, in English.

Service is good. When I walked in my room I found the toilet was dirty. After I called reception, the room exchange was arranged quickly and they also did the follow up to see whether I was happy with my new room.

We've stayed at the Chatelain many times. Definitely a good hotel in terms of price/quality ratio, but most of all, the location is great. It is a 10 min walk from Place Stephanie, and the avenue Louise shopping area. There is an amazing Pain quotidien for breakfast/brunch 5 minutes' walk on av. Louise. The rooms are a bit dated now, but we never spend […] too much time in the hotel, there is so much to do outside. Unfortunately, the staff did not fill up our little Nespresso capsules after the first day. Excellent service from the guy who took me to the hotel car park and complimented on my driving to the following day when another gentleman bought my car to the front of the hotel for me , excellent breakfast , plenty of variety , and our suite was outstanding , would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others .

Great room, Quiet street. Trams not underground. But this is an hotel which charges for extra Wi Fi and charges for breakfast, and charged the tax separately - why can't the owners accept that WiFI is part of the package. Service great. Food outstanding. Bathroom terrific. Just be a little more inclusive on the business

Adequate, the conference facilities were better than the rooms. Staff were slow but pleasant. Breakfast was ordinary and it took some perseverance to order scrambled eggs . So overall fairly expensive for what they offer but that may just be true of all Brussels Hotels.

This was advertised as an all-suite hotel, but it is definitely not. The restaurant is not open on Friday and Saturday nights so that was also inconvenient. It was, however, close to a tram stop, as well as being close enough to walk to the closest tourist site (the Palais de Justice).

A problem I had with my room was quickly sorted, and the staff were very helpful. My room was large, very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable.Bath robe and slippers and toiletries. This is a very convenient hotel being close to the tram, excellent restaurants in the locality. The hotel is very clean, the bar/restaurant is on the small side and was not well used during our two day stay. Very restaurant is pricey when compared to the choices nearby. The staff were outstanding. Always ready with advice and excellent service. A little bit removed from the downtown core contributed to the absolute silence in the room; no noise made for excellent sleeping. Would not hesitate in the least in recommending this hotel to others.

Le Chatelain is an all suite hotel and the suites are enormous, beautiflly fitted out and comfortable. Everything we wanted. Clean, safe, modern, well kept. Breakfast for 15 Euro on the weekend is the best deal in town. Brussels is expensive. Desk service and maid service were topnotch. No big issues, but in general terms I would say this should be just a 4 star. We were charged unexpected and high additional local taxes on top of the price we paid when we booked. The area feels safe, but a bit of walk is needed if not going by taxi.

Hotel très sympathique contrairement au personnel qui prend de haut! La chambre etait tres spacieuse et confortable mais quelques taches sur les rideaux et le plafond de la salle de bain font que l'hotel ne merite pas a mon sens ses 5*.

Très bon rapport qualité prix , confort , propreté , silence , courtoisie et disponibilité du personnel . Seul bémol le prix du petit déjeuner 29€ et le supplément demandé pour le wifi dans les chambres 15€ par jour ( gratuit ds le lobby ) . À part cela hôtel parfait .

Large room (superior prize group), but toilette flush not functioning (and obviously repaired with a pencil !! before), no hot water, noisy elevator, far from city but I chose it for an event location, staff of mixed friendlylnss. Strange: With the piece of soap and shampoo in the bathroom came a sign that if you use this items you will be charged.
