Superbly refurbished Art Deco hotel on a quiet street. The detail and touches in every space, from the room, to the lobby, to the bar and dining room were superb. We stayed at the Britania for 3 nights and were quite pleased with the art deco decor of the hotel along with the service and generosity of the staff. The room was comfortable, with a desk a sitting area and a dresser. The bathroom had an old style pedastal sink and while I liked the bathroom, it needed extra shelves on which to put our things. Excellent hotel and service - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Loved the decor - really stylish. Great location.

Although a little pricey, this hotel was worth it. If you want to be close to the action, but able to not hear it from your hotel, this is the place for you. Centrally located. Brief walk down a lovely tree-lined boulevard to the heart of the city. Staff was courteous and helpful. We used Lisbon as a get over jet lag beginning to our three city/country […] Europe vacation. Hotel Britania is just far enough from the main drag to be quiet and restful at night, but close enough to the main attractions - a ten minute walk to the main parts of town, or a one minute walk to the Avenida metro. The staff was extremely helpful at every step, and the hotel itself was adorable - historic, interesting, quirky, and very clean. I cant recall a stay at a hotel that was so much pleasure - the Britania in Lisbon really is a joy. From the moment you walk through the door into the Art Deco foyer and lounge, the staff could not be more friendly and attentive. The lounge and bar, especially, provide an extremely comfortable, domestic-scale environment, with a good library of books […] and art catalogues arranged by language as well as ample guidebooks to the city and to Portugal available to guests. There are also decanters of port available for guest use free of charge - a nice touch. The bedrooms are unusually large, with authentic furnishings and fabrics in keeping with the Art Deco atmosphere of the hotel. The standard of cleanliness is beyond reproach, so much so that anything left in an untidy manner is straightened up by the staff before you return! The lounge and bar area are transformed for breakfast with the addition of a buffet and a Nespresso machine. The range of food on offer is extremely varied and of exceptional quality and although on the expensive side, well worth the money for the relaxed atmosphere it offers at the beginning of the day. There is no question - Lisbon in February is wet, very wet - in fact during our stay to proved to be torrential. The availability of hotel umbrellas was welcome, as was the variety of offers the Britania provides for the airport coach (free), tourist trams (refundable ticket price) and city museums. we booked because others travelers experience and we were not dispointed,we will recommend it to our friends ,great service,helpful and they did recommend some great place to eat and what to do in lisbon.port in room great touch,will stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel in January for 4 nights. Our welcome was lovely, really friendly and we had a huge room with a very comfy bed. Tea and coffee was provided and the minibar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Good choice of TV channels though the TV was a little small for the size of the room, but there was a DVD player as well. A very good […] sized bathroom with lots of hot water and a good shower. Molton Brown toiletries supplied and refreshed daily. The hotel is just off the Avenue de Liberades so very good for getting to all the main sight seeing locations. We used the 48 hr sight seeing bus which was excellent for getting to the various sights. We especiallly enjoyed Belem and the Monastery, the oceanarium and the castle. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful- we can strongly recommend this hotel. Lees meer

Stayed here for 3 nights in October having booked after reading all the super reviews on both Hotels.Com and Tripadvisor. Can't really add anything to previous excellent reviews apart from saying that the hotel more than lived up to our expectations. Everything was just perfect but best of all was the helpfulness and friendliness of the receptionn […] staff. If ever back in Lisbon we will definitely stay at the Britania . Lees meer

Staff was great!! they even left us a bottle of port wine because we where on our honey moon, location is great, just less than a block from the most important street in Lisboa. But from the previous reviews we expected a bit more.

The staff were so amazing, it was for the last 2 days of our honeymoon and they couldn't have made us feel more special!!

I found this hotel on Trip Advisor.As soon as I walked in I knew I had made the right choice.The hotel only has around 30 rooms but the service was friendly and faultless and because of its intimacy was,for me,vastly superior to staying in a well known chain hotel.I'm picky but was mightily impressed.

チェックアウトまでの時間を有効に使うつもりで、外出したが、ホテルに帰るとすっかり部屋は清掃され旅行資料などは片付けゴミ処理されていた。フロントの勘違いと判明。清掃担当も一生懸命探してくれ、これも旅の想い出。

Ein ausgesprochen nettes Hotel mit einer liebenswerten, hilfsbereiten Stuff. Viel Platz in den Zimmern. Verwöhnfaktor: ganz hoch!!! Zimmer 15 sollte man meiden, da die Geräusche der Garage direkt drunter störend sein können.
