Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham

All in all a very good experience. Staff friendly and helpful especially the breakfast waiter who set our table in the grand hall in front of the fireplace. Minor issues were staff not able to get the fireplace to light in the evening while we sat in the Grand Hall. Also the sound on tv seemed to have a max setting which was fine for tv viewing. However […] we borrowed a DVD from the front office and the sound was low and the volume control did not let it go louder so we had to sit on the end of the bed to hear it. I felt very good, staff is very helpful, we had a little problem with heating of the Chamber, but I got a new one. . I will return at the earliest opportunity!

Very clean and comfortable and very attentive staff. The only negative was the high cost of an 'ordinary' bottle of red wine

This hotel was superb! The room exceeded my expectations on every count. All of the necessities were ready and waiting in the room, lovely creams, lotions, cotton swabs, shampoos and conditioners. The bathroom had a lighted make up mirror, and heated towel bar. The room had a coffee/tea making station, along with a iron/pants pressing station. There […] was a round table for snacks, and a safe for valuables. Breakfast had all the great traditional English Breakfast options, along with other choices too. Very good hotel, nice quiet location 5 mins drive from Cobham and A3.

Excellent hotel !! We enjoyed the stay so much. The staff were kind and professional. The breakfast was delicious in very comfortable atmosphere. We definitely will stay this hotel again.

Felt really welcome. Although having booked a double room, when asked if it were possible to have two single beds, this was arranged with no fuss--in fact I feel we were given probably one of the best rooms in the hotel. Had dinner in the smaller dining room. Excellent menu, fresh meal but rather slow service, a minor point really.

I paid for my son, daughter-in-law, & granddaughter, to stay at the hotel, as my daughter had her wedding there, on Sunday. I saw their room, it was lovely. They were all very impressed with the food, especially the breakfast.

Wonderful weekend getaway. Beautiful hotel, quiet surroundings. Included breakfast was incredible.

resonable price for a short stay break,although bar prices could do with some review,(£15.50 for 2 small glasses of wine does not seem competitive with the local pub or restaurant)

EXCELLENT HOTEL - WONDERFUL STAFF - FOOD BRILLIANT - A WONDERFUL STAY.

We stayed at the Woodlands Hotel for 2 day's over Christams 2010, Were made very welcome, all the staff were very pleasant . The Food & service were superb would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was everything we expected and more. The service from ALL staff was attentive, polite, friendly and created a very pleasant experience. The building was charming with lots of original features inside and out (including single glazed sash windows). The room we stayed in was spacious a child’s bed had been added for us yet there was still plenty […] of room to move around comfortably. The decor and furniture were outstanding, modern and clean, I loved the TV hidden behind the mirror. The bathroom was luxurious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and HUGE!! Breakfast was exceptional, plenty of choice, anything hot was made to order, the homemade jams looked delicious, complimentary news papers added to the morning experience. The service we received was excellent. We definitely felt we had spoilt ourselves with this hotel. Lees meer

We only stayed one night in this hotel but were treated like Royalty. The hotel itself is full of old world charm yet the rooms are fresh and modern. The grounds are great and the staff are excellent. On arrival we had a tired hungry baby crying at reception and I was worried that we were annoying other guests. The receptionist skipped the formalities […] and brought us straight to our room so we could feed our child. At breakfast again the staff were most helpful and I wittnessed the Manager going out of his way to assist another family with further accommodation arrangements while they sat and had breakfast. We didnt get to eat an evaning meal but breakfast was vey good and it was the first time I have seen 'home made" baked beans which were excellent. First impressions are that this is a busiess hotel but we found them very family friendly. We lookford to staying there again for a longer time. Lees meer

We stayed at Woodlands for three nights in may, the hotel was lovely, very clean,nice food,staff were friendly, efficient and more thanhappy to help, nothing was too much trouble. We chose Woodlands for its proximity to Hampton Court Palace, we also visited Ham House and the surrounding area was lovely.
