Iedereen weet het te vinden. Prima hotelbus van af het vliegveld en voor de vaste prijs van 29 dollar ben je in het centrum (25 minuten in een taxi). Perfecte prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Had a nice and comfortable stay at this hotel during my time in Philadelphia nov. 2011. There could be some better explanation about how to arrange the airport shuttle when you are not familiar with it, couldn't recall it on their (local) website and never got answered my question request long before I planned my stay there. Shuttle drivers themselfs were really helpfull and friendly, like most frontdesk personell, except for one man being rude and not hospital for me as his guest. Most of all I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn Springfield ;-) Room was oke!

Dit was echt een goed hotel. De service van het personeel was fantastisch. De dames bij de Balie en het ontbijt waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo vind je ze niet vaak. Ontbijt kon iets beter bagel en koffie. In de buurt heb je een winkelcentrum en veel eetgelegenheden. In 20 minuten ben je in het centrum van Philadelphia dus dat is zeker te doen. Hotel is 2 jaar oud dus alles is nog nieuw, kamer is groot en de bedden zijn prima. Zeker een aanrader.

Dit hotel is vrij luxe, grote kamers, grote badkamer, goede douche, heel comfortabel king size bed, lege koelkast (dus je kunt bij de supermarkt je eigen drankjes kopen, geen dure minibar). Uitstekend parkeren, het ligt aan het vliegveld, maar binnen hoor je absoluut niets! Met de auto kun je prima binnen een kwartiertje naar het centrum van Philadelphia, waar je ook prima kunt parkeren. dus in die zin is dit hotel goed gelegen. Het hotel zelf ligt niet in een leuke buurt, maar dat is in dit geval niet erg. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk! Wij vonden het een prima ervaring, en een aanrader.
Ligging.
Sofitel Philadelphia bevindt zich in het centrum van Philadelphia. dit hotel is een op zaken ingestelde accommodatie in de buurt van Rittenhouse Square, Congrescentrum van Pennsylvania en Nationaal monument Ben Franklin. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Liberty Bell Center en Independence Hall.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Sofitel Philadelphia heeft een healthclub en een fitnesscentrum. In alle openbare ruimtes is draadloos internet beschikbaar (tegen betaling). De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze met 4 sterren-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een limousine- of autoservice en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 2 restaurants plus een bar/lounge. Gasten /em> kunnen tegen betaling parkeren.Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/kaartjes, een huwelijksservice en evenementencatering regelen. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een gratis krant en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail.Snel internet (draadloos of via de kabel) is tegen betaling beschikbaar. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een afzonderlijk bad en een afzonderlijke douche, een telefoon, kamerjassen en designer toiletartikelen. Dit gebied in het stadscentrum is perfect voor wandelaars en kent kenmerkende wijken. Op de Reading Terminal Market in het Convention Center worden bij door families gerunde kraampjes gerechten uit de internationale keuken geserveerd. De beroemde traptreden uit de film Rocky leiden naar het Kunstmuseum van Philadelphia in het Museum District. Rond Rittenhouse Square zijn vele chique winkels en restaurants gevestigd. Hippe boetiekjes, restaurants en bars trekken een breed publiek naar South Street.

Na een prettig ontvangst konden we heel vlot de kamer in. De kamer was een aangenaame verassing: ruim, schoon en netjes. Met twee afzonderlijke flatscreens en ruime badkamer een prettig verblijf. De prijzen voor roomservice waren meer dan redelijk. Een goed uitgeruste gym maakte dat we ook lekker hebben kunnen sporten.De ligging is prettig dichtbij […] veel restaurants, een park en winkelstraten. Ook is het makkelijk om naar diverse bezienswaardigheden te gaan, te voet dan wel met openbaar vervoer of eigen vervoer ( alhoewel wij zelf dit keer gaan auto hebben gehuurd). Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent en ook het flesje water op de hotelkamer werd zeer op prijs gesteld. Very nice boutique hotel, in a great neighborhood. Parking is rough, b/c the center driveway is miniscule and we had to do a lot of musical chairs with the cars. but the rooms were clean, the concierge was great with recommendations and answering our questions, and the staff was very polite and attentive. My only gripe was about the beds: the comfort […] was fine but the pillows stunk. I don't know what it was but I tossed and turned all night. Very nice hotel in excellent location downtown. Bed was nice and room had nice touches. Lovely bar with good menu. Did not try the resturant. Would stay here again- especially with reduced rate.

Great hotel, great location. I would have rated it even better, but the air conditioning went out and they didn't notify me, and when I complained at check out about how hot it had been, there was no effort to try to rectify the situation.

Everything was great definitely stay hey again.
All the Frenchie commentary was hilarious, the staff took our jibes well, excellent location for rittenhouse square nightlife, great proximity to Underdog for late night snacks. Clean, modern rooms with nice bathrooms, the shower was a little funky smelling, but no worse than any other hotel we've recently visited. Overall a great deal.

My husband and I spent the night at your hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We found it conveniently located (walking distance) near the Philadelphia Art Museum, as well as wonderful restaurants and interesting shopping. "Amazing hotel"
I've stayed at many hotels, and the Sofitel is one of my favorite places to stay. Staff is knowledgeable, well spoken, and formal. The feel of the hotel is like walking into a lounge in Paris (I've been to Paris numerous times, and stay at Sofitel's sister company- Novotel). We recently made a quick weekend trip to Philadelphia. This was our first visit and we booked this hotel through Hotels.com relying on its favorable reviews and were not disappointed. The location was great and it was comfortable, clean and fashionable. We plan to visit again and will definitely stay here.

"Okay, but not the special I expected."
I guess I just expected an "experience". I had heard these were awesome hotels and short of the lobby, it didn't feel any different than a standard Hilton. The view was a rooftop and the windows way to small.
I stay at many hotels, but everything at this hotel was above average, what you might expect at a 5star hotel, would highly recommended if staying in the Philadelphia area.....

"Sofitel - A Gem in downtown Philly"
First time at hotel. Stayed for 1 night. If I need to stay in downtown Philly again I would definitely put this near the top of the list. Nice hotel with spacious rooms and comfy bed. a great hotel in a great location -- a block and a half from Rittenhouse Square. However, $40.80 for one night parking is a bit much.

Some hotels say they are 5 star but this one is a five star hotel for sure. Highly recommended

Very nice hotel with great amenities and Wonderful room service food. Great location, steps to restaurants, shops, and bars/clubs. Great lobby with a DJ on Saturday night. Would def rec and got a great rate for downtown.

"Nice Stay"
We had a good time at the Sofitel. The location is central enough so you can walk/cab to interesting places cheaply. Our window looked out on a parking structure, but we were not in the room all that much, so that's okay. Comfy bed, relaxing shower and separate tub, what else could you want? We'll consider staying there again in the future.

My stay at the Sofitel Philly was great and the service was exceptional. I actually move from the Lowes, Philly, which was far below the standards I'm accustomed too. I would recommend this to anyone.
