Il Lugano is een schitterende accomodatie waar alles voor je geregeld kan worden of gewoon je eigen ding doen. Het is gelegen tussen het strand en aan het grote kanaal waar de meest interessante jachten. In buurt zit een supermarkt die 24 uur per dag open is en ook een zeer goed Grieks restaurant. Verder zitten de bekende zaken als Subway, Domino's pizza etc er ook. Parkeren kan voor de deur bij parkeerautomaten (USD 0,50 per uur / van 8:00 tot 18:00), echter max. voor 3 uur te vullen. Uiteraard kun je ook gebruik maken van de valet parking (USD 20 per dag). Leuk is om de watertaxi te doen, zodat je vanaf een bootje een leuke tocht kunt maken langs de schitterende huizen en adembenemende jachten. Opstapplaats voor deze watertaxi is op een aantal minuten lopen van het hotel, net aan de andere kan van de brug bij Hooters. Kortom een prima lokatie om van Fort Lauderdale te genieten!

Eenvoudige, doch goede kamers. Badkamer moest nog worden gerenoveerd, maar was qua voorzieningen prima en schoon. Erg aardig personeel, zowel bij receptie als in schoonmaak. Ligging aan de promenade is fantastisch; je stapt het hotel uit en je bent aan het strand. Strandhanddoeken (en ligbedden) worden door het hotel verstrekt. Ruime eetmogelijkheden binnen loopafstand (ook aan de A1A).

Ligging.
Best Western Plus University Inn ligt in de buurt van het strand in Boca Raton, dicht bij Spanish River Park, Gumbo Limbo natuurcentrum en Mizner Park. In de buurt liggen ook Florida Atlantic University en Boca Raton Museum of Art.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
Best Western Plus University Inn heeft een buitenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. De accommodatie beschikt over een een businesscentrum. Dit motel in Boca Raton heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Gasten krjjgen gratis ontbijt. "Disappointment ~ Best Western Plus University Inn"
Picked hotel due because it was near Florida Atlantic University. Spartan room; deluxe meant bottles of water. Had to go back to the desk twice because the room key did not work. Did not feel very safe in the room with all the people hanging outside my room, drinking and smoking. Unacceptable experience.

Excellent for the money. Well located about three miles from Delray Beach, five miles from Deerfield Beach. Shopping and restaurants within half mile. Very nice and clean heated pool as well as jacuzzi hot tub outside. Lovely, lush well kept garden area. Ample parking. Beds were comfortable. Room had good lighting, table and two upholstered chairs, […] microwave, and small fridge. Good size closet but only three drawers in dresser. Not enough hangers. Small but clean bathroom. "one night stay before cruise"
Really surprised at how clean and comfortable this hotel is. A bit away from the ports but well worth the drive. Super nice and clean and will definitely stay here again.
We stayed three weeks and loved it. Best bargain for the price. Need I say more.

This hotel was just okay. The service was not great. The rooms need to be updated - immediately. The parkingin the back alley is sketchy and the surrounding area restaurants are quite ghetto. Not ideal at all.

This is a great florida looking hotel, very clean, extra friendly staff, great price. Right across the street are two hotels that cost at least $50 dollars more a night and I doubt they had anything worth the extra money over this. The pool was beautiful. The room was pretty clean but when i booked the hotel room, I did so because it said there was high speed internet in every room. I found out that the internet was the speed of dial up and kept getting disconnected, therefore, I wasn't able to complete any work that I needed to do. I travel for business 30 weekends a year and I generally dont find hotels to be 100% butthis one is excellent. It may be an older hotel but im not moving in so the age of the place doesnt matter to me. The rooms were very clean, very comfortable and they had the BEST breakfast ever. "Convenient, Good Value"
I've stayed here twice. The breakfast is included and excellent. The restaurant in the hotel, Waves, is mediocre and I would not eat there again. The Boca Diner across the street offers good basic food at a reasonable price. My only complaint is that the tv doesn't have CNBC.

"It's a motel"
As long as you are aware that it is a motel and if you are looking out THE window, passers by can be looking in, then it's OK for the price. It does have one advantage that most motels I've been in do not have, and that is a small window in the bathroom so you can get air into the room without leaving the door open.
The hotel was very clean. The staff was very pleasant. The free breakfast in the morning was perfect.

This is an older yet well maintained property. My room on the groupd floor rear of the hotel was quiet. There was a slight bleach smell when I entered the room, but it disapated. It is an older hotel, very nice grounds and very good continental breakfast. The location is good and we have stayed there many times over the years when we visit family and friends in the area.

The room was spacious and very clean. We stayed during the middle of the week and it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and we got some good rest. The room did have a few quirks but nothing that needed immediate attention. Some of the wall outlets are so worn that plugs don't stay attached. "Don't steal the pillows"
My second day at this hotel a attendant acused me of taking a pillow out of the room. I was told I would be finacialy responsible for it $25.00! I asked to talk to the manager and he tells me a pillow is missing I will have to pay for it! I tell him I guess the pillow fairy must have took it. Why would I steal a pillow 2 days before my stay at the hotel […] was over? Using a little common sense goes a long way! I go back to my room and while grabing my case for my Laptop behind the chair in my room. The missing pillow, the maid who just got done cleaning my room could not find so she reported it as missing!!!!!!!!! Or the pillow fairy brought it back! I will say the food was awsome! Including the free breakfast The land scaping is nice and the lay out is great. You can be close to the bar and great resturant or on the quite side near the pool and a great garden area! We've stayed at several hotels in the Boca area over the past few years while visiting our son at college. This hotel, while on the lower end, price wise, is a nicer one, considering. We would have no problems staying here again.

We arrived late at night and after we checked in, I asked where the nearest place was to get some milk. One of the night staff members said hold on, and opened up the Breakfast area and got us a cup of milk. It doesn't sound like much, but it saved me a car trip to the nearest 24 hour store. "Best western Boca Raton"
Nice pool and spa. Nice restaurant and servers; good food. Clean room and bedding. Bath had small counter space but I was in a handicap accessible room with wheel chair shower so I do not know about regular baths. It was a little tight moving the chair between beds. Not a luxuary hotel but for price it was excellent. Staff was very nice.

Great and comforatable, had great "free" breakfast and great pool-- big with lots of lounges. Room was small but top tier. Two main drawbacks that keep me from giving it a "5". 1) card swipe security door from north parking lot was not working for entire stay. Someone from the outside could just open door and walk in!! 2) wireless internet connection […] from my room did not work, but hotel supplied me with a free ethernet wire to hook up in room which was also wired for internet. That worked great. I just had to returen wire at end of my stay to aviod charge. So we had fast internet after figuring out wireless was not working in my area of hotel Lees meer

Convenient all around and the best for your money in the area. I should know as I travel here every week and have tried all in this price range.
