Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, alles werd uitgelegd, ook de bezienswaardigheden etc. we hadden het appartement op 5e verdieping, alleen te bereiken via (smalle) trap. Eenmaal boven was alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig, geen bad.. vanaf het (kleine) balkon heb je zicht op de zee, op 100m . Op de zesde verdieping bevind zich het dakterras met 2 wasmachines en drogers en enkele ligbedden. complex ligt in rustige buurt, met bushalte/metrostation op loopafstand,prima om de stad te verkennen!!

Het hotel ligt naast een snelweg en ondanks de dubbele beglazing heb hoor je het wel. In ieder geval aan de snelwegzijde van het hotel kan je niet naar buiten kijken. Gordijnen kunnen niet echt open. Kamer was netjes en schoon. Elke dag werden de handdoeken verschoond en het bed opgemaakt. Receptie was vriendelijk. Ontbijt en diner is dit niet echt een locatie voor. Het hotel heeft een eigen restaurant, maar je kan eten bij het restaurant wat aan het gebouw vast zit. Heb hier geen hoge verwachtingen van het is een soort van truckers-maaltijden restaurant. Voor één nacht is het goed te doen. Ik was met de trein. Het is zo'n 15 min lopen vanaf het station. Goed te doen als je fit bent. De route naar het hotel moet je even leren kennen.

metro station dicht bij, maar met ze 4e een taxi even duur als de metro. de kamer en badkamer waren schoon en strak ingericht. ontbijt was goed. we komen zeker terug.

Ligging.
TRYP Barcelona Aeropuerto Hotel bevindt zich heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in El Prat de Llobregat. Plaatselijke bezienswaardigheden zijn onder andere Fira de Barcelona, Camp Nou en Museo Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Plaza de España.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar, terwijl de accommodatie over een computer met internetverbinding beschikt. Dit hotel met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en audiovisuele apparatuur. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en een geldwisseldienst regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, een conciërgebalie en meertalig personeel. Gasten kunnen gratis gebruikmaken van een luchthavenshuttle ((op verzoek)). Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad. TRYP Barcelona Aeropuerto Hotel heeft 205 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via satelliet. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen. Elke badkamer heeft een bad/douchecombinatie met een handdouche, designer toiletartikelen, een bidet en make-up/scheerspiegels.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een föhn en openslaande ramen. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer, extra handdoeken/beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is.

Barcelona Airport, op vijftien kilometer ten zuidwesten van het stadscentrum, is een moderne en internationale luchthaven met goede winkels en eet- en drinkgelegenheden. Het treinstation is op een korte loopafstand van de terminal en biedt elke 30 minuten een snelle service naar het centrum van Barcelona (allemaal gekoppeld aan het metronetwerk) en de gebieden eromheen. Bovendien rijdt de Aerobús elke vijftien minuten naar de Plaça de Catalunya.

"Convenient"
The hotel is located very near Barcelona airport, where I arrived around midnight. Their shuttle service picked me up quickly and got me to the hotel.

Great desk staff on check in & out. Gave directions & map to mall. Bus stops in front of Hotel - E 4 rt. B-fast ok. Transfers very good. Would use again for overnight in BCN.

"good for quick stay"
The room was clean and comfortable but room service was limited and not available at breakfast because only one woman was manning the dining room. this was a little inconvenient since i was rushing to make a flight. But otherwise everything was fine, organized, clean and timely.

"Some right and some wrong"
The hotel is well designed, clean and the beds are comfortable. It is close and convenient to the airport and the free shuttle is recommended. Unfortunately for the business traveller there are some glaring faults. Firstly is the lack of WiFi in the rooms. Secondly the in room entertainment is lacking and the TV's are small old fashioned CRTs. Some […] of the rooms are being upgraded to flat screens though. Still the lack of HBO or any PPV movies is a pain. Finally do not get a room that faces the highway as you will not be able to sleep. The quiet side is very quiet though. "TRYP hotel- need improvement"
As book this hotel, we know have shuttle bus to pick up from airport to hotel. But we ask airport information staff & just remind us to wait in waiting place. We wait over 1 hr but can't find. We call hotel but need to wait around half hr that waste my half day. As my check in date is 31dec2011, we just stay whole night in hotel & celebrate happy new […] year in hotel restaurant. In check out date, we miss the time. We need to wait 1 hr for other bus & a couple already taken wrong shuttle bus. "Airpot Hotel"
The service was friendly. The room needed to be repainted there were several marks on the walls. The beds were much less than expected for a 4 star hotel. There was a lot of noise int eh atrium and the internet connection was poor. I would not recommend the hotel unless you were only going to the airport.
Suitable only for overnight stay to catch morning flight. Room has a "mushy" smell.

"Basic with free shuttle bus service 24hr"
Provides 24hour free shuttle service from the airport (T1, not sure about T2). Room and bathroom odor was quite bad. AC was too cold in our room. We stayed here for one night for transit between 2 cities. I would only consider this hotel again if there is no other option.

"Not 4 Star"
TRYP itself as an International Airport hotel, but is just a basic overnight crash pad. Food service is costly and indifferent. The cloth upholstery of the lounge furniture is badly in need of cleaning or replacement. This hotel is not good value.
"Great Airport Hotel"
We flew into Barcelona and stayed here one night before leaving on a Mediterranean cruise. Very nice hotel! The airport shuttle was very convenient and timely - although we could have used better information on where to catch it. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was great!

"It's an airport hotel"
And that says it all. In my room, the water didn't work, and the freeway directly outside was noisy. The neighborhood had no other restaurants, bars, stores, etc. so it was basically sit in your room, or take the shuttle to the airport for shopping/eating needs.

"No more than one night!!"
The hotel is ideal for one night before an early flight out. Most of the staff were very cheerful and extremely helpful. The hotel however is tired and badly in need of maintenance. My room smelled musty, the aircon did not work, the light fittings were coming off their wall mountings. The wifi is slower than the old dial ups ( and it was not much faster […] with the cable connection in the room... average 3 minutes to open the browser) Unfortunately Tryp is located in an industrial area so no restaurants around but the city centre is easily accessible by a very efficient public transport. AS expected hotel is far from everything except a bus stop. Wait for hotel shuttle at the airport was 40 minutes. Once at hotel one can use public bus is cheap and convenient. One can get to center in 30 minutes for 1.45 Euro. Wait is less then 15 minutes. Internet did not work. Staff was very unfriendly.

The hotel is very nice. I would only recommend it for people going to or coming from the airport as it is quite far from the city center. Overall, it was a great stay with nice staff.

For the convenience of staying near the airport for an early day out and free shuttle, I'd recommend. Don't stay here otherwise. Beds were uncomfortable! Definitely a case of a 3 star hotel trying too hard for more stars.

"Overall nice hotel"
This was a good hotel to stay in before leaving for the airport the next morning. Room was nice, you can control your own a/c, and the bathroom was also nice and clean. Only negative is that there was not free wi-fi.
"Convenient and reliable"
The Tryp is most things you want in an airport hotel. Good shuttle service, short trip from the airport, clean and comfortable. Don't expect local culture or interesting surrounds, but it's good value and functional. The breakfast was great and the staff deserve special mention fir their friendliness. All up a good hotel and happy to recommend

Good location- Close to airport. Bus stop to downtown close by. We were intentionally given a room that smelled like a toilet because we decided to book the least expensive room. It had some kind of plumbing problem & it reeked of sewage. We were given another room after we complained. It was suitable. We were told twice the breakfast was included with […] the room. Poor food service. Refused to even take a credit card for Internet. No soap in shower dispenser. Terrible terrible buffet meal. You should remove this hotel from your network.

Very close to airport. Very nice decor and helpful staff. Room service selection was great and food tasted wonderful. Prices fair for what you get. We only spent a few hours there due to our late arrival and early departure; would have liked to had extra time to spend in the very comfy room!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was very close to the airport and is perfect if you are needing a short layover in Barcelona. It is located predominately in a business area but we found it easy and cheap to take a bus to City Center to shop. We found that they did have hotel transportation to the airport after we had paid for a taxi to get to […] the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the employees very friendly. The hotel was very handy to the airport and the free shuttle service was excellent. The reception was very helpful and kind. We were a little surprised to find the maintenance a bit lacking. I did not care for this hotel. The room they gave me was on the highway. So it was very noisy. Air conditioning in the room did not work. Bed was like sleeping on a cot. Easy location from Airport and helpful shuttle. I was under the understanding from information on the hotels.com site that breakfast was included and it was not. Bus service to city center, but no clear directions on how and where to get off on return trip.
