The motel is a good value if you get the price right. The price booked by Motels.com works out cheaper then by Earl on the Frontdesk. Earl is a nice guy and provide you with lots of information. Cleaning is not a hobby. Vacuum-cleaning is not done in more then 4 days. Cleaning the table and the toilette is depending on the mood of the cleaners.

super hotel , echt een verrassing in het hectische pigeon forge, het hotel ligt achter de drukke straat,in een rustig straatje.. het hotel is heel gezellig en sfeervol ingericht een enorme aanrader voor het verblijf in the smoky`s !!!!

Het hotel heeft schitterende kamers, eigenlijk appartementen met een slaap- en zitkamergedeelte, ook is er een keuken met alle faciliteiten. Mooie zwembaden en rustige omgeving. Dit hotel ligt uit de drukte van Pigeon Forge. Het biedt waar voor het geld
Ligging.
Best Western Twin Islands bevindt zich in Gatlinburg, dicht bij Cooter's Place, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies en Sweet Fanny Adams Theater. In de buurt liggen ook Guinness World Records Museum en Mysterious Mansion.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
Gasten krjjgen gratis ontbijt. Naast een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en barbecueroosters heeft Best Western Twin Islands voorzieningen als een wasserij. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een picknickplaats, een open haard in de lobby en koffie in de lobby.

"older facility but great location"
great location for walking the main street of Gatlinburg- older facility but well maintained- playground for the kids-breakfast not too good-best part was actually seeing a BEAR (small) in the parking lot
"Mars Hills"
This was at Mars Hill Comfort Inn. I had phone back to confirm a smoking room, this was my honey moon and they stated we were not confirmed a smoking room from Hotel.com. We had originally ordered a Kings bed and change due to that not being a smoking room, Other wise the stay was adequate.

"wonderful visit"
John at the desk was a gem. this hotel stay was so nice we stayed two extra days. they really made our stay pleasant. the hotel is also right next to everything. very satisfied
"Outdated"
First room was nasty and still had trash on the floor. Front desk was very nice, but only moved us two doors down into a similar room. Hotel was not full and they must have had nicer rooms but were not willing to put our family in one.
We have stayed at the Twin Island in years past on our trips to Gatlinburg. This visit was one of the best. I am so glad that they are now serving breakfast it was very good and the room we had was exactly what we wanted. Very friendly staff.

When I booked this hotel I specifically booked a balcony smoking room. When I arrived they said they were sold out of those and put us in an undesired location. The room was non-smoking and there was no balcony. The property buildings could use some upgrading and maintenance. The breakfast buffet was good, location to downtown very good.

"Good For Kids"
We go to Gatlinburg often and have stayed in several of the hotels on the strip. This one was in the top 3 that we have stayed at in our book. We will certainly choose to stay here next time if it is a family trip. My 20 month old loved the playground and ducks. The breakfast the next morning was very good and is in fact a full breakfast. "Not a good experience"
The heat did not work when we checked in, there was only two sheets on the bed,no comforter! The towels were dirty looking. And the bed was not comfortable. The only good thing was the T.V. was nice and location was good. I would not stay there again if it was free!!

The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The hotel was in easy walking distance of all major attractions and a variety of eating establishments. Will stay there again when I visit Gatlinburg next.

Staff very courteous,helpful. Room clean, comfortable bed,microwave,small refridgerator,hair dryer, although visited in summer-also has fireplace. Loved the water stream outside room with mallard ducks. Easy, walking distance to attractions, shops, eateries/restaurants and trolley if wanted to ride instead of walk. Will stay here again.

for the price that I booked this room for..it didn't even come close to what I expected..It was a very nice hotel..close to downtown...great location!! It was nice,but I expected more for the price..It did have a fireplace..which was very nice...because it was cold!!! It was a nice hotel...

This hotel was extremely nice. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so nice and they made our stay pleasurable. A good location for walking in Gatlinburg. Good surroundings. Great place if you are on a budget and have kids. They have a really good playground for kids 6 to 13 or thereabouts. It is an old place and it shows. The housekeeping people do their best. "Great Location!"
This is not a five star hotel but for the price it is a incredible value.The rooms are a little dated but comfortable. Located a short walk to ALL attractions. A clean room with a balcony overlooking a stream. The staff is helpful and friendly. Far enough off the Parkway for privacy. I am going back next year to enjoy another week.

"NEEDS IMPROVEMENT"
WORST HOTEL I'VE STAYED AT THE ROOM SMELLED AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY ROLLAWAY BEDS THE CLEANIEST PART OF THE ROOM WAS THE BATHROOM.

was so disappointed room smelt really bad and looked dirty. I really thought of bed bugs in the room but we had brought children with us and they had no other rooms available. I would not have slept on the floor. They had no roll away beds and the hotel was just not what we expected. The pictures online was so much nicer so very deceiving. "Needs Improvement"
Bed was hard, noisy and uncomfortable. It squeaked so was noisy throughout the night since each time one us changed postions, the bed squeaked. One of the posters of the poster bed was missing. Too much furniture in the small room made moving around a challenge. We had a king sized bed and there was a chair with an ottoman in the corner by the door […] leading to the balcony. The ottoman was so close to the bed that I tripped over it when we first went into the room and I went to open the door leading to the balcony overlooking the river. The sound of the river was wonderful and soothing but you couldn't leave the door open to listen to it because the balcony was a shared balcony so you wouldn't want to leave your door open. There was no screen door either so you just had to close and lock the glass door and miss out on the soothing sound of the river. Nice location but the room needed updating. Lees meer

no its not the palace but for a mid grade hotel it was wonderful. my bed was so comfortable i wanted to bring it home, and the sound of the river flowing outside the door just made it even better. lou our housekeeper was so sweet and kept us in ciffee and towels thanks for a great stay we will be back

Our room exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time on our 10th anniversary and will try to return for our 11th. This is the 4th time we've stayed at Best Western Twin Islands in the last 11 years.

"Alot and more"
Dont let the looks of this hotel fool you. Yes, it is a older hotel and the rooms do need alittle updating, but the place was great..friendly people..wonderful atmosphere..and if you are a lover of ducks, this is your place. The room that i stayed in was right on the creek. It had a walkdown to where you could go and feed the ducks. They where eating […] food out of my hands..at one point there must have been 50+ ducks. Our room had a balcony area that we were able to enjoy watching otters playing in the stream. Was a great location and very nice facility.
