Het hotel ziet er goed uit. Binnen is alles ook van goed materiaal, banken zijn wel een keer aan vervanging toe. Minpunt is de overal zeer duidelijk hoorbare luchtverversing van het hotel. Zeker 's nachts kan dat hinderlijk zijn. Er zijn ook veel muggen, zorg dat je Deet bij je hebt!

Een goed en service gericht hotel, met goede internet mogelijkheden,schone en nette kamers. De kamer die wij kregen toegewezen vonden wij veel te donker door te weinig lichtinval, de receptioniste regelde gelijk een andere kamer voor ons. Geschikt voor langer verblijf zij beschikken over een overdekte parkeergelegenheid met een niet al te hoge inrit. Het diner hebben we gebruikt bij het aan het hotel gelegen restaurant El Toro, met een korting voor bezoekers van het hotel. De ligging van het hotel was op 10 minuten loopafstand van het Centrum van Banff dus gunstig. Het hotel is een aanbeveling waard.

We hadden een goede en duidelijke ontvangst het personeel was vriendelijk en kundig hotelkamer werd goed schoongehouden ontbijt was minimaal maar wel goed verzorgt uitzicht was minder maar we waren overdag toch de hele dag op pad afstand naar het centrum was goed te doen rustige en veilige omgeving
Ligging.
Banff Park Lodge ligt in Banff dicht bij Canada House Gallery, Mount Norquay en Upper Hot Springs, en biedt allerlei opties om te skiën en andere wintersportactiviteiten te doen. In de buurt vind je ook Cave and Basin National Historic Site en Banff Lake Louise Touristenbureau.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Na een vermoeiende dag in de sneeuw kan je heerlijk relaxen in het spabad of een verkwikkende duik nemen in het binnenzwembad. Met de skishuttle van dit hotel in de bergen sta je in een mum van tijd op de piste. Banff Park Lodge is de perfecte locatie voor een onbezorgde wintervakantie met ski-opslag en plaatselijke winkels. Als het skiën gedaan is en de zon onder gaat, kan je in de bar van dit hotel gezellig après-skiën.
Gasten kunnen in het plaatselijke restaurant van een heerlijk diner genieten. Een draadloze internetverbinding is beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes (tegen betaling). Andere voorzieningen bij dit hotel met 3 sterren zijn een healthclub en een turks stoombad. Tegen betaling zijn er een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen.

Elke kamer heeft een balkon met uitzicht op de bergen.Banff Park Lodge heeft 211 kamers met een minibar en een kluis. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met luxe beddengoed. Een snelle draadloze internetverbinding is bij betaling beschikbaar.
Elke televisie heeft kabelzenders. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. De renovatie van alle kamers werd in januari 2002 voltooid.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Banff Park Lodge in een mooie omgeving"
Een echt ski - hotel om te zien en de inrichting doet daar ook aan denken. Een paar straten van het drukke centrum dus de ligging is ideaal. Ondergrondse parkeergarage. Kamers zijn netjes maar niet erg luxe alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Nadeel is dat alle hotels in Banff vrij prijzig zijn maar het stadje en het uitzicht op de bergen zijn zeker […] de moeite waard. Lees meer

"Great as always"
Nice location close to downtown. Been staying here for years and consistently great! Love the late night eucalyptus steam room.
Very accommodating...this hotel is fantastic and close to everything in Banff! I felt that the room fixtures and furniture needs upgrading as well as the bathroom. But overall very nice stay.

It's a nice hotel good location and comfortable ,only problem was paid parking and paid wifi when many other hotels nearby offer for free and free parking is next to their building

"Wonderful hotel, location excellent."
This hotel was so close to Banff's high street for shops and restaurants I couldn't of asked for a better location. It was also not so close to hear the night clubs. 5 minute walk tops, lovely. Hotel very clean, staff very helpful. Would recommend this to all my friends and family going to stay over at Banff.
"A bit overrated"
This hotel is not cheap by any means, but for the price, I struggle to see what so special about it is. Rooms are nice enough, but nothing extraordinary. The bed is probably the bext feature, while everything else - TV, bathrooms, furniture - are OK at best. The worst thing about this hotel is that anything besides the room is extra. Want to park your […] car? Extra $$. Want wireless internet? Extra $$. Want to make a local phone call? Extra $$. We were told when we booked with hotels.com, that we would have a balcony and mountain view with a king size bed and a crib and what they actually booked us for was 2 queen beds on the main floor, looking out at the wall of our building. No mountain view. We had a sliding door going outside of our room but I must say, I didn't at all feel safe. "Banff Park Lodge-bathroom cleaniess"
My husband and I found our room to be overall clean and comfortable. In the bathroom shower we had noticed black mold, not sure if was the bad mold, but still not very pleasent looking. After our first day I noticed walking into our room a wet moldy smell.

A dirty bathroom effects the weekend because you wonder whatelse is just surface cleaned. The countertop was only wiped down around the sink. The area where the complimentary toiletries sit was thick with dust and hair. When your drinking glasses are moved and there is a long black hair under it you gag a little. "Great Place for the price"
Things I like best about the Banff Park Lodge: - close to the main drag in Banff - free underground parking - kids love the steam room, hot tub and pool - 1st hotel to offer a variety of different pillow types to suit even the fussiest sleeper - free wi-fi - clean hotel the only dislike...pay per view didn't work and the TVs are old school.

We loved walking out the door to the rental shop across the street, as well as pub and breakfast right there, a quick walk to main street was another bonus. Their eucalyptus steam room and hot tub were the cat's meow after our day of skiing!!

"Okay hotel, no luxury at all but well located"
Well located, no luxury at all though. Needs some updates. The staff was helpfull and nice. The pool area is very nice.

Over all the stay was very good. Friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was that the restaurant on 1st floor seemed to be shut every night (there was an upmarket restaurant/bar on Ground floor). They had sign saying it was closed for renovation but it was open every morning for breakfast. They could have just said it's shut due to not many people […] staying. Also the other down side seemed to be the buffet breakfast seemed to end at different times in the morning (one morn at 9:30, the next at 10:00 etc). The rooms were really out dated.. However the bedding seemed new and clean, which is comforting to know the hotel doesn't have ancient beds. The hotel employees were very polite.

I found the front desk people grumpy and not very helpful. The food was fair but over priced $60 for average buffet per person.breakfast buffet as well $20 per person for scrambled eggs and oatmeal. The main restaurant was descent food but small portions.

The rooms may be affordable, but consider this. If you want a robe to wear its $ 3 per robe per day. If you need a microwave in your room, that is $15 per day. If you need to park underground (ie. winter) that is $10 per day...It adds up. The hotel is old and on the dirty side.

We stayed for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year. On the whole it was a great experience. My only complaint would be the cold lighting in our room, compared to the warm lighting in the common areas of the hotel. The overuse of compact fluorescent bulbs detracted from an otherwise comfortable room. The white light emitted from these light fixtures […] made me feel like I was at the dentist, or in a supermarket. Hotel was great, however do not attend any christmas dinner or brunch, these are very overpriced and are not worth the 54$ a plate, for turkey roast from safeway. We won't be doing that again

We recently stayed at the same hotel on the Cascade side and it was a dump...the room was old and dingy, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were about to come down. We stayed in this hotel on the Rundle side last June and it was great. It is like 2 different hotels - DO NOT STay on the CASCADE side!!!!!!!!!! fair warning. The front desk staff were less […] than enthusiiastic at our check in - in fact they kind pointed in the general direction of where our room was located - parking is 9.00 a night so add that in to your rate. Everything was great from room to facilities. The only slightly negative items were 1. That you have to pay for internet connection ($10 for 24 hrs). The only saving grace with this service is that the connection speed was around 50Mbs, so no stuttery skyping the family back home or waiting for your email to download. 2. The restaurant up stairs didn't […] have the hours they mention in their compendium. More often it was shut I suspect because not enough guests in the hotel. The buffet breakfast was off more times than on and seemed to close with no set hour. eg buffet could close anywhere between 9:30 & 10:30 Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.. The location was great with a nice trail and river behind the hotel while close to shopping and restaurants and downtown Banff. The hot tub, warm tub, pool, and sauna were all great. The room itself was very outdated and in need of a carpet cleaning but the bed was comfy. There was also an unkown parking charge of $9.50/night and when I booked the room […] with a king they said it was unavailable when we got there. To make up for it they said they gave us a mountain view which might have been nice if there wasn't a tree right outside the window. "Exceptional long weekend"
We arrived in Banff on Friday afternoon and departed Sunday. The hotel was busy and yet was quiet and comfortable. We've stay here before and would recommend it for future stays.
"Need realistic offseason rates"
The Banff Park Lodge is a perfectly fine, clean, comfortable hotel that suffers from the same flaw as other Banff hotels, being way too expensive in the offseason. And $10 a night for wireless internet is insulting.

I loved this hotel, great pool area, very friendly staff and best of all the awesome balcony with a fantastic view! We really enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend this hotel!
Nothing bad, but nothing particularly good about the hotel itself. Clean, basic, and a bit outdated. The location is very central in Banff.
A brief but very enjoyable stay. Nice and quiet. A bit odd our choice of room though. Last year, when my wife was on crutches, they gave us a room as far from the elevators as you could get. This year we ended up staying the room reserved for wheel chair guests, even though my wife is now fit again.
Great hotel, comfy bed nice size. Good location. There was great steak house opposite,

staying one night with friend in Banff town side the first time ,it was an amazing stay.friendly and helpfull staff,nice location,excellent balcony mountain view,the facilities steam room and pool open till midnight....for sure i will stay again and tell everybody about this hotel when we comt to Banff.

The hotel was clean, very friendly staff, but for the price of the rooms I think that the Internet connection should of been included.
