Lovely hotel in a great location on Salthill's prom right beside the beach and less than 20 minutes walk to the city centre. It is also only a couple of minutes from Pearse stadium if your going to a GAA game. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms are very spacious with all the necessities. P.S be warned they stop serving food at 9 pm so don't […] be caught out, if you are try roberta's italian restaurant 3-4 mins away stays open until 10 and is top class. Lees meer

I highly recomend this hotel resort. the location is stunnig and the hotel is clean, comfort and food is realy tasty. the beds are huge for the Europe style and bathroom is very clean and colors are pleasent. I wish the tub was not so deep since i am a short person it was difficult to reach the shower head and stepping in and out of the tub. I wish […] they had the safe in the room but it was ok for 1 night. too bad the weather was extrimly windy and rain and we could not enjoy the beach. Lees meer

I thought the room was way to basic for what you pay for. The bathroom was very outdated and needed refurbishing in a big way. The tele only had a few stations that was only working, not that you go away to look at tv, but it would be nice for it to work.... I think for the price of it its not money well spent... We booked at the last minute. Staff were brilliant from the beginning. Our room was very comfortable. There are beautiful sea views from the hotel. The breakfast food was the tastiest I've had in a long time. Well done Galway Bay and all your staff. Tom

Beautiful bay side hotel. Lovely spacious rooms, and great staff

We stayed overnight at this hotel in June 2011. It is in a lovely location on Galway Bay. The staff were were very friendly and helpful. On a minor note, we found it odd that you had to walk through the car park to the back of the hotel to enter and exit and it was a pity that there isn't good access from the hotel to the terrace facing the Bay.

Nice hotel,however it isn't directly on the beach. You have to cross a busy road to get to the small beach.

This hotel gives you the best of both, seaside location and only 10mins walk to Galway City Centre. Would highly recommend..

stayed here one night when attending wedding in the hotel. staff lovely, very clean hotel and rooms. gorgeous view, overlooking the sea! left valuable behind me when leaving, rang hotel next day, had item returned to me within two days. very happy with this service.

This hotel right at the beach is an excellent choice if you want visit Galway and also be close to the sea. Rooms are very nice and clean and the service is excellent. And the views are great.

Nice hotel in a great location, lovely breakfast every mornig. Nice pool and leisure centre. Hope to be back again sometime.

We had an excellent break in the Galway Bay hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in great condition and well maintained. The hotel was extremely clean. The food was fantastic.

Excellent hotel and excellent location.But if you wish to stay here i would recommend to do it during the week.I stayed here on a saturday night and it was full of families with young kids so you can here them running up and down the hall ways and screaming.Its not the hotels problem its the PARENTS,they should be controlled.The breakfast is complementary […] and its very good,it will keep you going till late afternoon.I do recommend that you bring your own toileteries as we didnt even get a face cloth.Friendly and helpful staff,feel free to ask questions,there brilliant. Wasn't expecting a room with a view but got one so was very happy to be looking over Salthill strand instead of a car park. No mini bar in room so can't keep your own stuff cold. Having breakfast in bed the next morning was so cheap I decided to go for it and they got everything spot on - even laid on extra toast. Hotel de cuatro estrellas , muy familiar,enfrente de la playa,razonable calidad de servicio y situado en zona a 3 km del centro de Galway: se puede ir por el paseo marítimo en 30 minutos

Mycket trevligt, klassiskt badortshotell med tillmötesgående personal. Gästerna var företrädelsevis äldre vilket avspeglar sig i stämningen... Ganska långt till Centrum men fin strandpromanadväg dit.

Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb der City schön am Galway Bay gelegen. Die Hauptstraße vor dem Hotel und der Vergnügungspark für Kinder nebenan störten uns nicht. Das Hotel ist schon ein paar Tage alt, macht aber trotzdem einen gepflegten Eindruck. Die Funktionalität der Badezimmereinrichtung entspricht allerdings deutschem Standard der 70er Jahre. Das […] Frühstück ist auf angelsächischen Bedarf zugeschnitten, bei viel Besuchern vom Festland könnte es schnell beim continental breakfast zu Engpässen kommen. Wir konnten aber nicht klagen und waren mit dem Angebot zufrieden. Schade fanden wir, dass uns von der Reception ein Touroperator für den Tagsausflug zu den Cliffs of Moher empfohlen wurde, der sein Geld nicht wert war. Lees meer
